¡Hola amigos de Hive Gaming! Cada vez que leo que sale alguna remake nueva de un juego no puedo dejar de pensar en todos los juegazos que amaba de pequeña y me encantaría que tuvieran una. Uno de los que encabeza mi lista es el Dino crisis 1 y el Dino crisis 2 de la consola Playstation 1.
Hello friends of Hive Gaming! Every time I read about a new game remake coming out I can't help but think of all the great games I loved as a kid and would love to have one. One of the ones that tops my list is Dino crisis 1 and Dino crisis 2 from the Playstation 1 console.
Desde que salieron las remake de los Resident Evil no pierdo las esperanzas de que algún día anuncien la de este juego. Era súper fan del Dino crisis y, a decir verdad, es el único juego de survival horror al que pude jugar por mis propios medios, ya que soy muy miedosa para los de RE o cualquier otro que involucren criaturas de espanto y monstruos deformes, incluso ahora de adulta. Los dinosaurios son criaturas más reales y no me aterran de esa manera, así que me fascinaba jugarlo. Para los otros lo tenía a mi hermano que los jugaba por mí jajaja.
Ever since the Resident Evil remakes came out I haven't given up hope that someday this game will be announced. I was a huge fan of Dino Crisis and, to tell you the truth, it's the only survival horror game I was able to play on my own, since I'm too scared for RE's or any other game involving scary creatures and deformed monsters, even now as an adult. Dinosaurs are more realistic creatures and don't terrify me that way, so I was fascinated to play it. For the others I had my brother who played them for me hahaha.

Recuerdo que me encantaba la historia de Regina y la de Dylan en la segunda parte. Creo que Regina es una gran protagonista femenina de este género y me gustaría ver una recreación de su personaje pelirrojo combatiendo dinosaurios con mejores gráficos. Sin dudas se verían muy realistas y sería genial, ya les digo, no dejo de soñar con esto.
I remember loving Regina's story and Dylan's story in the sequel. I think Regina is a great female protagonist in this genre and I would like to see a recreation of her red-haired character fighting dinosaurs with better graphics. No doubt they would look very realistic and it would be great, I tell you, I keep dreaming about this.
No sé si es porque no son juegos que tuvieran un gran público en aquellos tiempos o qué pasa, pero siento que se están perdiendo de volver a lanzarlos y que tengan un gran impacto. Quizá sean más apreciados en la actualidad, o quizá no, pero nunca los sabremos si no lo hacen.
I don't know if it's because they're not games that had a big audience back in the day or what, but I feel like they're missing out on re-releasing them and having a big impact. Maybe they will be more appreciated nowadays, or maybe not, but we'll never know if they don't.

Cada uno de estos juegos tenía su dinámica. Recuerdo que el Dino crisis 1 era más pensante, con rompecabezas que resolver al estilo de los primeros Resident Evil y tenía una atmósfera parecida. Además de que en un momento podías elegir entre dos escenarios posibles, si seguir a un personaje o al otro, con uno tendrías más acción de matanzas de dinosaurios y con el otro más rompecabezas que resolver que al final resultaba mucho más complicado. Así que era mejor irse con el malote. Aunque lo ideal era saber elegir a quien en cada ocasión.
Each of these games had its own dynamic. I remember that Dino Crisis 1 was more thoughtful, with puzzles to solve in the style of the first Resident Evil and had a similar atmosphere. Besides that at one point you could choose between two possible scenarios, whether to follow one character or the other, with one you would have more dinosaur killing action and with the other more puzzles to solve that in the end was much more complicated. So it was better to go with the bad guy. Although the ideal thing was to know how to choose the right one for each occasion.
En cambio, el Dino crisis 2 era más de ir a saco, los dinosaurios parecían ser infinitos y salían de todas partes en el bosque así que tenías que ir disparándoles mientras recorrías los escenarios a riesgo de no saber administrarte porque podías quedarte sin balas. Sucedía todo mucho más rápido y era bastante dinámico, ideal para los que les gusta la adrenalina.
On the other hand, Dino Crisis 2 was more about going all out, the dinosaurs seemed to be infinite and came out of everywhere in the forest so you had to shoot them while you went through the scenarios at the risk of not knowing how to manage because you could run out of bullets. Everything happened much faster and was quite dynamic, ideal for those who like adrenaline.

Pero me gustaban ambos por igual, depende de mi mood, si quería algo más tranquilo iba al 1, si quería más acción iba por el 2. También solía querer batir mis propios récords de jugadas, si mal no recuerdo al primero llegue a terminarlo en 3 horas y al segundo en 2 horas. Igual esto es inchequeable porque la última vez que lo jugué tenía como 13 años. Debería volver a hacerlo aunque sea con un emulador para recordar los viejos tiempos y ver si sigo siendo tan buena matando dinosaurios jajaja.
But I liked both equally, it depended on my mood, if I wanted something calmer I would go to 1, if I wanted more action I would go for 2. I also used to want to beat my own gameplay records, if I remember correctly I finished the first one in 3 hours and the second one in 2 hours. Anyway, this is unbeatable because the last time I played it I was about 13 years old. I should do it again even with an emulator to remember the old times and see if I'm still as good at killing dinosaurs hahaha.
Bueno, todo esto para decirles que mi más grande deseo es una pronta remake de este juegazo o en su defecto, una parte nueva con la tecnología y los gráficos de hoy en día.
Well, all this to tell you that my greatest wish is a prompt remake of this great game or, failing that, a new part with today's technology and graphics.
