Harry Potter y La Cámara Secreta, uno de mis videojuegos Favoritos | Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, one of my favorite video games [Esp-Eng]

Hace pocos días me estaba recordando de uno de mis juegos favoritos de mi infancia, la cual recordé el videojuego que les traigo el día de hoy, Harry Potter y la Cámara Secreta. Les debo confesar que soy fan de la saga de las películas de Harry Potter, desde que vi la primera me cautivo y vi cada una de ellas, por lo cual como soy vicioso de los juegos desde que tengo uso de razón, pues decidí jugar este juego y más cuando llegue a jugar con mis primos la primera edición, La Piedra Filosofal. Cuando uno es niño tal vez no sea muy exigente con los juegos, pero ahora con el pasar de los años y teniendo más experiencia con diversos juegos de diferentes géneros, pues este segunda entrega fue uno de los mejores que viví a lo largo de mi vida, tanto así que estoy pensando en jugarlo nuevamente desde mi pc. Es importante mencionar que les voy a contar lo que me recuerdo, ya que fue hace varios años que lo jugué, pero en realidad nunca me voy profundo a la hora de contarles mi vivencias con los juegos, toco los aspectos más importante de un juego y este es el caso de Harry Potter y la Cámara de los Secretos.

A few days ago I was remembering one of my favorite games from my childhood, which I remembered the video game that I bring you today, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I must confess that I am a fan of the saga of the Harry Potter movies, since I saw the first one I was captivated and I saw each of them, so as I am vicious of the games since I can remember, I decided to play this game and more when I got to play with my cousins the first edition, The Philosopher's Stone. When you are a child you may not be very demanding with games, but now with the passing of the years and having more experience with various games of different genres, this second installment was one of the best I lived throughout my life, so much so that I'm thinking of playing it again from my pc. It is important to mention that I am going to tell you what I remember, since it was several years ago that I played it, but in reality I never go deep when telling you my experiences with the games, I touch the most important aspects of a game and this is the case of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Harry Potter y la Cámara Secreta es un videojuego de acción y aventuras que fue desarrollado por diversas empresas dedicadas a este tema (juegos) en las cuales destacan Eurocom (GBA, GC, PS2 y Xbox), EA UK (GC, PS2 y trabajo adicional para Xbox), Griptonite Games (GBC), KnowWonder (PC), Argonaut Games (PS) y Aspyr (Mac). Su lanzamiento oficial en el mercado fue el 14 de noviembre del 2002 para casi todas las plataformas, exceptuando Mac, que salió el siguiente año, específicamente en el 10 de abril del 2003. En este juego se ve casi todo lo que pasa realmente en la película, lo cual me parece voy destacado que hayan podido adaptar de gran manera al videojuego con la finalidad de que los jugadores disfrutaran del mismo. Les debo dejar claro que yo probé el juego en su versión de PC y no se realmente si varía con las otras plataformas que les mencioné anteriormente.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is an action-adventure video game that was developed by several companies dedicated to this subject (games) in which Eurocom (GBA, GC, PS2 and Xbox), EA UK (GC, PS2 and additional work for Xbox), Griptonite Games (GBC), KnowWonder (PC), Argonaut Games (PS) and Aspyr (Mac) stand out. Its official release was on November 14, 2002 for almost all platforms, except Mac, which was released the following year, specifically on April 10, 2003. In this game you can see almost everything that really happens in the movie, which I think is outstanding that they have been able to adapt in a great way to the video game in order for players to enjoy it. I must make it clear that I tried the game in its PC version and I don't really know if it varies with the other platforms I mentioned before.

La historia del videojuego es igual a los argumentos que vimos en la película, en el caso que lo hayamos hecho, que en mi caso fue así ya que como les comenté me gusta la saga, es mi favorita, junto al Señor de los Anillos. El jugador deberá tomar el rol de Harry Potter un estudiante de 12 años, quien es huérfano y quien vive con sus tíos. En este juego vemos como recibe la visita de un elfo llamado Dobby, que este quiere evitar que Harry regrese al colegio de Hogwarts, que como bien sabemos es una escuela de magia y hechicería a la cual asistieron incluso sus padres. Al regresar a la escuela Potter nota de una serie de sucesos que empiezan a ocurrir y es así donde nosotros los jugadores, debemos ir pasando cada una de las misiones que se nos impone en el juego, para avanzar en el mismo, donde nos debemos enfrentar a diferentes enemigos, hacer hechizos, abrir puertas, ayudar a las personas, pero lo más importante de todo, creo que es saber movernos por los diferentes escenarios que nos presenta el juego. En el final de la historia todo se aclara y vemos que todo fue un plan del antagonista del juego y la película Lord Voldemort, quien de joven fue conocido como Tom Sorvolo Ryddle, quien se cambió su nombre ya que es bien sabido, odiaba a los Los muggles (personas comunes sin magia). SI viste la saga de Harry Potter, debemos conocer a detalle la de este juego, ya que como les mencione, es tal cual como se ve en la película, está muy bien adaptada la historia.

The story of the videogame is the same as the storyline we saw in the movie, in case we have done it, which in my case was the case because as I told you I like the saga, it is my favorite, along with the Lord of the Rings. The player must take the role of Harry Potter, a 12 year old student, who is an orphan and who lives with his aunt and uncle. In this game we see how he receives a visit from an elf named Dobby, who wants to prevent Harry from returning to Hogwarts school, which as we know is a school of magic and wizardry which even his parents attended. Upon returning to the school Potter note of a series of events that begin to occur and that is where we players, we must go through each of the missions that are imposed on us in the game, to advance in the same, where we must face different enemies, cast spells, open doors, help people, but most important of all, I think it is to know how to move through the different scenarios that the game presents us. At the end of the story everything becomes clear and we see that everything was a plan of the antagonist of the game and the movie Lord Voldemort, who as a young man was known as Tom Sorvolo Ryddle, who changed his name as it is well known, he hated the Muggles (common people without magic). If you saw the Harry Potter saga, we must know the details of this game, because as I mentioned, it is just as seen in the movie, the story is very well adapted.

Como todos saben, Harry nunca andaba solo y siempre contaba con la ayuda de sus grandes amigos Ron Weasley y Hermione Granger, quienes emprenden la aventura en el juego de pasar todas las misiones para investigar todo lo que ha ido pasando. Una de la mejor parte es la lucha que tiene nuestro personaje (Harry) en el club de duelo en la cual debemos luchar en contra de Draco Malfoy quien es el rival de nuestro personaje principal en todo el juego. Lo más impresionante de este juego es que interactuamos con todos los personajes de la película, pero solo podemos usar a Harry Potter quien es el único personaje jugable, podemos usar diferentes hechizos, todo depende de lo que tenemos que hacer en las misiones, además de crear pociones y conocer las mejores criaturas mágicas que incluso en algunos cosas debemos enfrentar.

As everyone knows, Harry never walked alone and always had the help of his great friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, who undertake the adventure in the game to pass all the missions to investigate everything that has been happening. One of the best part is the fight that our character (Harry) has in the dueling club in which we must fight against Draco Malfoy who is the rival of our main character throughout the game. The most impressive thing about this game is that we interact with all the characters of the movie, but we can only use Harry Potter who is the only playable character, we can use different spells, everything depends on what we have to do in the missions, besides creating potions and knowing the best magical creatures that even in some things we must face.

En cuanto a la jugabilidad de este videojuego es importante mencionar que como les dije usamos al personaje de Harry Potter con una perspectiva de tercera persona, donde nos paseamos por todo el pasillo de la escuela de Hogwarts para tratar de resolver los misterios y circunstancias que se nos van presentando en el juego. La jugabilidad cambia con respecto a las diferentes plataformas en la cual fue lanzada el juego, que en mi caso fue en PC, donde el jugador debe junto a su personaje (Harry Potter) luchar contra los enemigos, siendo el final el basilisco de Salazar Slytherin, quien era controlado por Tom Ryddle (Lord Voldemort), además de hacer hechizos e ir aprendiendo de los mismo a medida que vamos avanzando en la historia del juego, ya que también como jugador debemos entrar a las clases, conocer los diferentes sitios del colegio donde como les dije en varias ocasiones, se nos van presentando hechos que debemos solucionar, con las indicaciones mediante diálogos que se nos van dando.

As for the gameplay of this game is important to mention that as I said we use the character of Harry Potter with a third person perspective, where we walk around the hallway of Hogwarts school to try to solve the mysteries and circumstances that are presented to us in the game. The gameplay changes with respect to the different platforms on which the game was released, which in my case was on PC, where the player must together with his character (Harry Potter) fight against enemies, the final being the basilisk of Salazar Slytherin, who was controlled by Tom Ryddle (Lord Voldemort), besides casting spells and learning from them as we advance in the game's story, because also as a player we must enter the classes, know the different places of the school where as I said on several occasions, we are presented with facts that we must solve, with the indications through dialogues that are given to us.

Gráficamente el juego me parece bueno, que si bien tiene sus detalles y debemos entender el año en que fue lanzado y comparado con los actuales, puede que no sea del agrado de muchos, pero en lo personal me gusta las efectos visuales que se dan cuando estamos realizando los hechizos en el club de duelos y en las demás misiones que como jugadores debemos completar. Si bien la animación no es lo mejor, pero si me parece que hicieron en buen trabajo para el momento. El juego es bastante completo en cuanto a los escenarios a la cual debemos visitar, los animales y criaturas que vemos, entre otros aspectos que pueden destacar en el apartado gráfico. El sonido es una de las mejores cosas, donde vemos buenos diálogos entre nuestro personaje principal jugable y los otros, que nos van dando las indicaciones de lo que debemos ir haciendo, además que nos comentan detalles muy importante para conocer mejor la historia. La banda sonora estuvo a cargo de Jeremy Soule, la cual hizo un gran trabajo y no nos decepcionó para nada.

Graphically the game seems good to me, although it has its details and we must understand the year it was released and compared to the current ones, it may not be liked by many, but personally I like the visual effects that occur when we are performing the spells in the dueling club and other missions that we as players must complete. While the animation is not the best, but I think they did a good job for the moment. The game is quite complete in terms of the scenarios to which we must visit, the animals and creatures we see, among other aspects that can highlight in the graphic section. The sound is one of the best things, where we see good dialogues between our main playable character and the others, who give us the indications of what we should be doing, and they also tell us very important details to better understand the story. The soundtrack was in charge of Jeremy Soule, which did a great job and did not disappoint us at all.

En conclusión, el juego Harry Potter y la cámara secreta es un videojuego que puede ser entretenido y más si somos amante de la película. El jugador vive mucho acción y aventura, donde la verdadera magia está a la orden del día en el Colegio Hogwarts, donde interactuamos con muchos personajes, vamos conociendo de la historia y lo que debemos ir haciendo para completar el juego, que es el verdadero objetivo del jugador, claro que siempre disfrutando el juego y de la aventura que estemos viviendo. AL ir avanzando en el juego, tenemos la sensación de que realmente estamos metidos en el juego, algo por la cual les puedo decir que disfruté mucho de este juego, tanto así que quiero jugarlo nuevamente para recordarlo mucho mejor de lo que se los he descrito en este post.

In conclusion, the game Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is a video game that can be entertaining and more if we are lovers of the movie. The player lives a lot of action and adventure, where the real magic is the order of the day at Hogwarts School, where we interact with many characters, we learn about the story and what we must do to complete the game, which is the real goal of the player, of course always enjoying the game and the adventure we are living. As we advance in the game, we have the feeling that we are really in the game, something for which I can tell you that I really enjoyed this game, so much so that I want to play it again to remember it much better than I have described in this post.
