Today's televisions are an incredible innovation, with resolutions that we never thought would exist in the past, in addition to enjoying images with perfect sharpness and really vivid colors, so much so that sometimes we can confuse an image with reality, but, despite all these positive things, those people who lived the experience of the past with respect to televisions, will always have a little discomfort with respect to this new generation.

Obviously, TVs in new formats are necessary to enjoy new experiences, however, when it comes to retro stuff they are kind of useless, due to the large resolutions they have, which cause images to look really stretched and horrible, causing a bit of discomfort to our eyes and memories, since we don't remember them that way.

Let's suppose that one day we happen to rummage around inside our stored things and we find a Family Computer, immediately it comes to our mind to test it and see if that old device still works, when we put it on a new generation TV all the pixels look huge and stretched everywhere, this occurs because a 1080p TV has a native resolution of 1980x1080, instead, the Family Computer has 256x240, for this reason these pixels look so big.

This is one of the main reasons why many retro lovers have a CRT TV at home, with which they can experience in a more accurate way all the consoles and other systems of yesteryear, since those consoles were designed to be able to work properly on contemporary TVs to it.

It is not only about simply watching those retro games on those old TVs, it is also the response time they offer, if we try a Super Nintendo on a new TV we can realize that there is Imput Lag, ie, when pressing the button will execute the action in a few milliseconds later, so this is not immediate, something that does not exist in CRT TVs.

One of the things that gives a lot of nostalgia to many retro gamers is to connect consoles with analog connections under a connector called RF, this should be connected in the antenna part and change the channel either 3 or 4 (depending on the configuration of the console) so you could see the image and play, anyone who had an ATARI 2600 or a NES and even a Sega Genesis / Mega Drive or SNES could experience it.

Thanks to all these things that existed in the past many can enjoy what exists today, since everything was testing, redesigns, updates and renovations over the years, something that can be easily checked by looking at the past and going through all the consoles and televisions that existed, the important thing is that you can still enjoy and experiment with all these things of the past, and people like us will never let the flame of retro be extinguished.
