What is going on, guys? Last week you might have remembered I posted this Video going over the claims that Hellena Taylor, the Bayonetta voice actress for the first two games, made. Watching the videos she made, I honestly wanted to believe that what she was saying was the truth, but like I said in that video there are three sides to every story, Hellena's side, Platinum Games Side, and the truth, and we finally have Platinum Games Side!
So it turns out that Hellena might have done some lying according to Platinum Games, Hellena Taylor was offered $3000-$4000 USD per session with a minimum of 4 sessions for around four each each session. These claims have been verified by sources from Jason Schrier (BloomBerg) and by VGC( Video Game Chronicles)
Hellena allegedly was not fine with this and demanded that she get paid a six-figure lump sum along with residuals. The Residuals claim has also been confirmed.
If you ask me that does have a ring of truth to it, because why would they offer Hellena an offer as low as 4k for the entire game, yet hire Jennifer Hale, a more well known, and probably expensive VA?
