Oh, boy! Here we go again! I’m going to try to post about my adventures on Pal world every Monday and Thursday until I eventually stop playing. The plan right now is to play it for another week at least as I have a project in the background that I am doing that involves the game!
When I last left off, I told you about my sinister way of delivering a message to a thug. So I figured that I will start this off by telling you about me visiting his friends again… This time I was more prepared.
I had leveled up a bit and had captured a Chillet, a mini boss of sorts, and was ready to dish out my revenge. I headed back to the camp of my slave and starting firing arrows. The first thug I fired at was a gunner and, after getting his HP low enough, I was able to capture him. Around this time, a group of local Cremis decided to join my assault and within seconds, the thugs in the camp were killed.

La última vez que lo dejé, les hablé de mi forma siniestra de entregarle un mensaje a un matón. Así que pensé que comenzaría contándoles que visité a sus amigos nuevamente... Esta vez estaba más preparado.
Había subido un poco de nivel y había capturado a un Chillet, una especie de minijefe, y estaba listo para repartir mi venganza. Regresé al campamento de mi esclavo y comencé a disparar flechas. El primer matón al que le disparé fue un artillero y, después de bajar su HP lo suficiente, pude capturarlo. Por esa época, un grupo de cremis locales decidió unirse a mi asalto y en cuestión de segundos, los matones del campamento fueron asesinados.
In the middle of a camp was a fire Pal kept in a cage and after freeing it it became mine. One of the things I enjoy about Palworld is the Pokedex like description it has for pals. This one particular cries lava, and the more it cries, the stronger it gets.
! [Spanish]En medio de un campamento había un fuego que Pal guardaba en una jaula y después de liberarlo se convirtió en mío. Una de las cosas que disfruto de Palworld es la descripción tipo Pokedex que tiene para sus amigos. Éste en particular llora lava, y cuanto más llora, más fuerte se vuelve.
It was at this point that I decided I would try to cross one of the objectives off of my list and go to battle another mini boss called Penking. Penking was level 15, and I was about Level 16, so I figured this would be a walk in the park.
I left the thug camp and died almost right afterwards. I came across a mob of Relaxaursus that were level 20, who I managed to Agro. And within seconds, I was killed.
! [Spanish]Fue en este punto que decidí intentar tachar uno de los objetivos de mi lista e ir a luchar contra otro mini jefe llamado Penking. Penking estaba en el nivel 15 y yo en el nivel 16, así que pensé que esto sería un paseo por el parque.
Dejé el campo de matones y morí casi inmediatamente después. Me encontré con una multitud de Relaxaursus que eran de nivel 20, a quienes logré hacer Agro. Y en cuestión de segundos, me mataron.
When I got back to the area to pick up my pack, these Pals were gone, thankfully, and I started my journey back towards Penking.
My journey to the Sealed Realm of the Frozen Wings wasn’t any more eventfull. I got to the base of the hill and activated the quick travel statue, and then began my ascent. It wasn’t long after that I found the teleporter that brought me to where I needed to be.
And I got wrecked. Penking was level 15, but three hits from him were all it took to kill me. On top of that, it had a mob of pals around it which made dodging its attacks all the more harder. After I died, I got worried that I would have to go back through the teleporter to the dungeon in order to get my gear back, but thankfully it I didn’t as it got ported back to the dungeon entrance.

Mi viaje al Reino Sellado de las Alas Congeladas no estuvo más lleno de acontecimientos. Llegué a la base de la colina, activé la estatua de viaje rápido y luego comencé mi ascenso. No pasó mucho tiempo después de que encontré el teletransportador que me llevó a donde necesitaba estar.
Y quedé destrozado. Penking estaba en el nivel 15, pero tres golpes suyos fueron suficientes para matarme. Además de eso, tenía una multitud de amigos a su alrededor, lo que hacía aún más difícil esquivar sus ataques. Después de mi muerte, me preocupé de tener que regresar a través del teletransportador a la mazmorra para recuperar mi equipo, pero afortunadamente no lo hice, ya que fue trasladado de regreso a la entrada de la mazmorra.
I’m not smart, but I ain’t exactly stupid. I wasn’t going to waste time trying to kill Penking. So I decided that I would level up some. I headed back to my base and the first thing I built was a crossbow, which was a lot more powerful than the bow I was using, and then I got to crafting a bunch of arrows.
Why was I doing this? Because I had a plan! I wasn’t going to go after Penking again, but rather go for the first actual boss of the game, Zoe and Grizzbolt. I made my way to the Tower of Rayne and got read for a fight.

Chillet, who I named Chilly, was an awesome tank for the most part. Most of the time, Zoe and Grizzbolt’s attention was on him while I whittled away at their health with my crossbow. The arena the battle took place in was big, with many columns, which is exactly what is needed as Grizzbolt has range attacks that are best blocked with the columns. You can also kite him around them to create some distance.

La mayor parte del tiempo, la atención de Zoe y Grizzbolt estaba puesta en él mientras yo iba reduciendo su salud con mi ballesta. La arena en la que tuvo lugar la batalla era grande, con muchas columnas, que es exactamente lo que se necesita ya que Grizzbolt tiene ataques a distancia que se bloquean mejor con las columnas. También puedes hacer kite con él alrededor de ellos para crear cierta distancia.
When they had a tad bit of health yet Chillet got hit with an attack that KOd him. Quickly I threw out my cremis, and that’s when I realized I had no arrows left. Thankfully, I had two hand grenades… that didn’t manage to kill the duo. So while my Cremis was getting pounded, I took out my club and did what Canadians do best. I was able to club Zoe and Grizzbolt to death.
After the boss was defeated, I returned to the base. Now I’m not going to spend all my time here writing about my upgrades because I’d be here forever and it would be very boring to read about me placing down a bunch of stuff. But I will tell you I faced a dilemma.
I was debating on whether butchering the Thug I captured in front of his friend, but decided against it. And no it’s not because ole gamergeek has a heart, but it’s because he had a gun. I figured he would be a decent guard for my base.

Después de que el jefe fue derrotado, regresé a la base. Ahora no voy a pasar todo mi tiempo aquí escribiendo sobre mis actualizaciones porque estaría aquí para siempre y sería muy aburrido leer sobre cómo dejé un montón de cosas. Pero les diré que me enfrenté a un dilema.
Estaba debatiendo si masacrar al matón que capturé frente a su amigo, pero decidí no hacerlo. Y no, no es porque el viejo gamergeek tenga corazón, sino porque tenía un arma. Pensé que sería un guardia decente para mi base.
I also went ahead and used up all my ancient civilization parts, or most of them. These parts can be obtained from things like completing dungeons, defeating Alpha bosses, etc. And can be used for the more beefier upgrades. The reason why me using them up became a problem has to do with Penking.
Penking was always my goal, and I figured out that I’d have a better chance if I upgraded my shield to a mega shield, but in order to do that, I needed Ancient Civ parts. Luckily, I remembered from my previous time playing the game that there was a dungeon nearby.
The dungeon was filled with squid like pals, thugs, pals called fuddlers, cat like ones called Mau and just generally Pals I never saw before. I made my way through the dungeon with my crossbow ( After getting back, I crafted over 200 arrows for it) capturing pals or just killing them with Chilly. It didn’t take too long before I reached the end where I was face to face with a giant Gumross.

Estas partes se pueden obtener al completar mazmorras, derrotar a los jefes Alfa, etc. Y se pueden usar para mejoras más potentes. La razón por la que usarlos se convirtió en un problema tiene que ver con Penking.
Penking siempre fue mi objetivo, y descubrí que tendría más posibilidades si actualizaba mi escudo a un mega escudo, pero para hacerlo, necesitaba piezas de Civilización Antigua. Afortunadamente, recordé de la última vez que jugué que había una mazmorra cerca.
La mazmorra estaba llena de amigos parecidos a calamares, matones, amigos llamados fuddlers, amigos parecidos a gatos llamados Mau y, en general, amigos que nunca había visto antes. Me abrí camino a través de la mazmorra con mi ballesta (después de regresar, le hice más de 200 flechas) capturando amigos o simplemente matándolos con Chilly. No pasó mucho tiempo antes de que llegara al final donde me encontré cara a cara con un Gumross gigante.
This fight was pretty easy, mostly because I was over leveled, but I did end up capturing the giant Gumross. At the end of the dungeon, some chests awaited me.
Unluckily for me though, I still didn’t have enough parts for the mega shield. And I was stumped. So I decided to go exploring. I found a small settlement that had traders in it and further on my explorations; I found another dungeon!

Desafortunadamente para mí, todavía no tenía suficientes piezas para el mega escudo. Y me quedé perplejo. Entonces decidí ir a explorar. Encontré un pequeño asentamiento que tenía comerciantes y más adelante en mis exploraciones; ¡Encontré otra mazmorra!
This was another dungeon I was over levelled for so I breezed right through it. There was nothing really special here, no new pals, or nothing like that. So I ended up making way to the end of it and battled a giant Lifmunk.
Being 9 levels over it, it was a pretty easy fight, and I was able to capture it. After completing the dungeon, I had enough points for my mega shield! So I went straight back home to craft my upgraded shield! My next stop will be back to the Sealed Realm to finally kill the bastard that is Penking!

Al estar 9 niveles por encima, fue una pelea bastante fácil y pude capturarla. Después de completar la mazmorra, ¡tenía suficientes puntos para mi mega escudo! ¡Así que volví directamente a casa para crear mi escudo mejorado! ¡Mi próxima parada será regresar al Reino Sellado para finalmente matar al bastardo que es Penking!
During my adventures, I was also able to upgrade my base! I replaced the wood structures with stone ones, added some new benches, an upgraded chest, an ore station, and a second level to my house!
