Journal Entry 7
After helping out The Theater, it was time for me to start looking at the bigger picture. There was a museum called viewpoint where the True Sons were broadcasting their message across the region. My job was too high-jack the transmission and bring it under control of S.H.D, so that we could use it to our benefit.
Nothing is ever easy. I made my way into the building via its underground parking garage and had to fight for every foot I took. When I got to the higher levels of ViewPoint, the more True Sons there seemed to be. There were a couple of close calls, and I got a few scratches, but it was nothing I couldn’t walk away from.
I found the terminal being used for the broadcast in the production room. This place looked more like a news room than an actual museum. I’m not sure what they used this room for, or if it was even used for anything, but what the True Sons were using it for was obvious.
Hacking into the terminal, I was able to reset the site’s facilities to default and bring them under the control of the S.H.D. But it wasn’t without difficulty. True Sons seemed to pop up from every nook and cranny, but with my rifle by my side, I was able to deal with them all.
But it wouldn’t be that easy. The True Sons had a contingency plan. They had set up EMP jammers on the roof, disabling what would be an advantage to S.H.D. Manny didn’t have to tell me what my next task was because I already knew what it was.
Rushing to the roof, I encountered more True Sons and the EMPS. I had to switch my focus between taking out the EMP jammers and dealing with the True Sons that were out for my blood. I dealt with those I could with my rifle, and those who got too close came face to face with my shotgun.
When the last EMP was destroyed, the leader of this outfit came out to play, Staff Sergeant Carl Wade. Wade didn’t come alone. His men attacked me, and his men died. And as I lined up Wade’s head with the crosshair of my scope, I could see that he realized the mistake he had made. He had decided to go up against a Division Agent.
Journal Entry 8
What is it with True Sons and museums? This time they were held up in the American History Museum. They had converted it into a prison of sorts, and I had to enter the hornet’s nest and to grab some intel about a HVT.
But it’s not like I could just go blazing in. Outnumbered 1000-1 it would be a sure death sentence. Instead, Manny suggested that I release the prisoners first to create a riot that would serve as a distraction.
That didn’t mean it was going to be a cakewalk, because after fighting my way to the controls to open the cells, I had to do more fighting. I just wonder how much more people I would have had to kill if I didn’t listen to Manny.
The interrogation data was located in the Archive room and the path to it saw me fighting in a Vietnam set up of the Museum. I can’t count the number of times bullets flew over my heads. To anyone else it may seem like a scary thing, but to me, at least now, it was as normal as breathing. Whether that is a good thing or not, I do not know.
Once I finally got the data, True Sons reinforcements were called. Making my way outside, I came face to face with a new wave of enemies, led by a name called Captain Briggs. They were not happy about my newly acquired information.
After dealing with the other True Sons, I focused on Briggs, who sported a grenade launcher. In between his shots, I would line up my sniper, taking my own shots, hoping that one would pierce his armor and put an end to his wretched life. And after what seemed like hours of fighting, the sound of explosions finally died down as he drew his last breath in a pool of blood.
With my quota of blood being filled for the day, I decided it was time to head back to the Theater district for some much needed rest.
So I know this is a bit shorter, that is because I am super behind on my schedule today and didn’t have the time to do a longer post, and for that I apologize! I hope you guys understand and have an awesome day!

Después de ayudar a The Theatre, era hora de que comenzara a mirar el panorama general. Había un museo llamado mirador donde los Hijos Verdaderos transmitían su mensaje por toda la región. Mi trabajo era demasiado alto en la transmisión y ponerla bajo el control de S.H.D, para que pudiéramos usarla en nuestro beneficio.
Nunca nada es fácil. Entré al edificio a través de su estacionamiento subterráneo y tuve que luchar por cada paso que di. Cuando llegué a los niveles más altos de ViewPoint, parecía haber más Hijos Verdaderos. Hubo un par de llamadas cercanas, y tuve algunos rasguños, pero no era nada de lo que no pudiera alejarme.
Encontré la terminal que se usaba para la transmisión en la sala de producción. Este lugar se parecía más a una sala de redacción que a un museo real. No estoy seguro de para qué usaron esta habitación, o si incluso se usó para algo, pero era obvio para qué la usaban los Hijos Verdaderos.
Al piratear la terminal, pude restablecer las instalaciones del sitio a sus valores predeterminados y ponerlas bajo el control de S.H.D. Pero no fue sin dificultad. True Sons parecía surgir de todos los rincones y grietas, pero con mi rifle a mi lado, pude lidiar con todos ellos.
Pero no sería tan fácil. Los Hijos Verdaderos tenían un plan de contingencia. Habían instalado bloqueadores EMP en el techo, desactivando lo que sería una ventaja para S.H.D. Manny no tuvo que decirme cuál era mi próxima tarea porque ya sabía cuál era.
Corriendo hacia el techo, me encontré con más True Sons y el EMPS. Tuve que cambiar mi enfoque entre eliminar los bloqueadores EMP y tratar con los Hijos Verdaderos que buscaban mi sangre. A los que pude me enfrenté con mi rifle, y los que se acercaron demasiado se enfrentaron cara a cara con mi escopeta.
Cuando se destruyó el último EMP, el líder de este equipo salió a jugar, el sargento de personal Carl Wade. Wade no vino solo. Sus hombres me atacaron, y sus hombres murieron. Y cuando alineé la cabeza de Wade con la mira de mi mira, pude ver que se dio cuenta del error que había cometido. Había decidido enfrentarse a un Agente de la División.

¿Qué pasa con los True Sons y los museos? Esta vez fueron retenidos en el Museo de Historia Estadounidense. Lo habían convertido en una especie de prisión, y tuve que entrar en el nido de avispas y obtener información sobre un HVT.
Pero no es como si pudiera entrar en llamas. Superado en número 1000-1, sería una sentencia de muerte segura. En cambio, Manny sugirió que primero liberara a los prisioneros para crear un motín que sirviera como distracción.
Eso no significaba que iba a ser pan comido, porque después de abrirme camino hasta los controles para abrir las celdas, tuve que pelear más. Me pregunto cuánta gente más habría tenido que matar si no hubiera escuchado a Manny.
Los datos del interrogatorio estaban ubicados en la sala del Archivo y el camino hacia ellos me vio luchando en una instalación de Vietnam del Museo. No puedo contar la cantidad de veces que las balas volaron sobre mis cabezas. Para cualquier otra persona puede parecer algo aterrador, pero para mí, al menos ahora, era tan normal como respirar. Si eso es algo bueno o no, no lo sé.
Una vez que finalmente obtuve los datos, llamaron a los refuerzos de True Sons. Al salir, me encontré cara a cara con una nueva ola de enemigos, liderados por un nombre llamado Capitán Briggs. No estaban contentos con mi información recién adquirida.
Después de lidiar con los otros True Sons, me concentré en Briggs, quien lucía un lanzagranadas. Entre sus disparos, alineaba a mi francotirador, disparando mis propios disparos, con la esperanza de que uno perforara su armadura y pusiera fin a su miserable vida. Y después de lo que parecieron horas de lucha, el sonido de las explosiones finalmente se apagó cuando exhaló su último aliento en un charco de sangre.
Con mi cuota de sangre llena para el día, decidí que era hora de regresar al distrito de los teatros para descansar un poco.
Así que sé que esto es un poco más corto, eso se debe a que hoy estoy muy atrasado con mi agenda y no tuve tiempo de hacer una publicación más larga, ¡y me disculpo por eso! ¡Espero que lo entiendan y que tengan un día increíble!
