The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time was released by Nintendo in 1998 during the months of November and December on the Nintendo 64. This release was a big change for the franchise, since it was the first zelda game to use graphics in 3D.

At the beginning we will see a dream of Link where he and Ganondorf are on the Hyrule bridge, this is a prelude to what will happen later in the story. At first we will be living in a tree house located in the Kokiri forest, where our journey will begin, for this our fairy Navi will be guiding us, and our first objective will be to get a sword and a shield to visit the great Tree Deku, who awaits us with an important mission.When we get to the Great Deku Tree, it will reveal to us that his death is accelerating due to a curse for which he asks for our help, so we proceed to enter inside it until we find and eliminate a giant insect inside which is the cause of the curse. Upon achieving this, the Great Deku Tree will reveal to us that the man of our dreams is the one who has placed the curse on him and wishes to take over the kingdom of Hyrule, so the Deku tree gives us a sacred gem that represents one of the 3 ancient goddesses, so we must find the other 2 gems throughout history and meet princess zelda.

As we already have the Gem belonging to the Gooron, we will finally have to get the Gem of the kingdom of the Zora, until finally when we are going to Hyrule Castle, we see Princess Zelda fleeing from Ganondorf, but before leaving she manages to throw one at us. Ocarina, and so we enter the temple of time placing the 3 ancient gems and playing the appropriate song in our new ocarina, doing so will open the door and we can remove the sword from the temple, but to our surprise, we will be adults and there will be past 7 long years in which Ganondorf was destroying the world and taking over it, while link was sealed so a wise man entrusted us with the mission of getting 6 medallions to restore the balance between good and evil and thus be able to face Ganondorf, in a gloomy Hyrule castle, to finally restore peace to the kingdom of Hyrule.

As for the gameplay, we are facing a single player game, with touches of the open world in which we can make use mainly of our sword and shield in the battles that we fight, in addition to advancing in the story we will have abscesses more objects such as bombs, resolteras, bow, hook among other things that will help us during the game, especially in the puzzles that we will have to complete in each cave or temple.The most remarkable thing in this video game as its title indicates is the Ocarina of Time, with which we can open doors, call our horse, make it rain and even open the temple of time, it should be noted that this is only achieved by touching the right melody for every situation. All these melodies will be at our disposal in the pause menu, however we can also memorize them.Also at a certain point in history we can use a horse so that moving to some places takes us less time.

Regarding its graphic section, for the time The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time looked great, especially if we take into account that it was the first 3D game of its franchise and that it was released almost 22 years ago.

In conclusion The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time is a title that is loved a lot, this because despite the time lag in terms of gameplay and comparing it with more recent installments, it is still a very good video game with a good history, with excellent graphics and gameplay for its time, so even though 22 years have passed since its launch, this is a game that continues and will continue to be present in the hearts of gamers, proof of this is that Nitendo released a remake of this installment for its new portable console, the Nintendo 3ds, this game was quite well received by all Zelda fans, so much so that a remake of its sequel was made which I will comment on in another post.
