Hello gamers!

Starting today giveaways we will be implementing a new rule when it comes to giveaways. All giveaways will, starting today, have to be approved by community moderators before they can be posted into the community. The easiest way to do that is to reach out to us through Discord.

Giveaways are a beautiful thing and we don't want to ban them fully. There are however certain trends here on Hive that we don't want to support through our community. These mostly boil down to low effort NFT giveaways for certain blockchain games where users are doing daily giveaways of assets worth close to nothing while they themselves are farming post rewards every day.

To show that we support real and generous giveaways we want to give extra support to these instead. Starting today, giveaways that are approved by a community moderator and posted in the Hive Gaming Community will receive a shoutout in the Hive Gaming Community Discord server for extra visibility.
