Both Krystal and I do not recall Dungeon Siege 2 being so difficult. It has felt like a genuine chore to play the game instead of the graceful monster slaughter fest that the game normally is.
I think that the game scales the difficulty to anticipate that you have two competent players participating instead of two people wanting to live out nostalgic dreams of victory.
It leads me to conclude that Dungeon Siege 2 is not ageing as gracefully as my nostalgia brain wants it to have.
Here's three hours of swearing, rambling, and bad quality jokes delivered by two people who can't play video games.
