I am here with you in the third episode of the Do You Remember series, where I share the games I played as a child. Today, I will share with you the game known today as City Bloxx and known to me as a child as Tower Bloxx.

Unfortunately, like many other mobile games, the images of this game are vertical because that is how the game is designed. In this game, your goal is to build a perfect building starting from the first floor. I think these buildings resemble today's prefabricated buildings because a construction machine drops the floors one by one from above, and people fly in to settle into their homes. Your task is to click on the screen at the moment the floor is dropped to ensure it settles properly.
However, this is much harder than it sounds. Especially if you’re playing the game again after many years. Especially if you make a mistake at the base of the building, as the floors rise, the building starts swaying like a toy, and placing the next floor on top becomes impossible. If you can't place the floor properly, it collapses, and you have a total of three attempts. If you drop the floor for the third time, you'll either have to place the building halfway or throw it away. Imagine how much harder everything would be if there were no option to throw it away.
When you complete a building, it displays the building's height, how many people live inside, and your longest combo—that is, the maximum number of perfect floor placements you've achieved.
You can download this game for free from the App Store. I've been playing this game for a while now, and there are currently 6,617 people in my city. As you can see, you can only build up to 25 buildings in your city, and you can't place them wherever you want. Blue buildings are starting buildings with 10 floors and no requirements. Red buildings have 20 floors and become active as you progress through the city. To build a red building, there must be a blue building nearby. Green buildings have 30 floors and require both blue and red buildings nearby. Finally, yellow buildings are 40 stories tall and require both blue, red, and green buildings around them. By “around,” it means to the right, left, below, or above. Buildings diagonally across are not considered neighbors.
As your population grows, special roofs that increase the population of your buildings become active. However, if you don't build your buildings properly, you can't use these roofs. It looks pretty cool.
How you build your city is extremely important because you can't build every building everywhere. For example, you can't build a yellow building on a corner because you can't build the other three buildings around it lol. There are guides online for perfect layouts, but I prefer to proceed as I see fit rather than follow them.
I don't remember there being different maps like this before. There was only one type of map. In this new game on the App Store, you can build cities in different shapes.
Finally, let's take a look at the infinite mode. In this mode, if you drop the block three times, the game ends, and you try to build the tallest building possible. I think the numbers in the top left are my ranking. They suddenly appeared in the game and really distracted me XD
In total, I built an 114-story building with 2,971 people living inside. You can continue by watching ads if you want, but I won't do that. In infinite mode, you must never make a mistake, especially on the first few floors, otherwise the building will shake too much on higher floors, making it impossible to place another floor. Don't ask me how I know XD
This game took me back to my childhood for a few hours. I remember playing it on my aunt's phone back then. I'll do my best to find more childhood games. Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed it. Don’t forget to share in the comments whether you’ve played this game before. See you gamers!
