Hello @hivegaming community, today we are with guide #7
Chapter 6 has brought us to the end of our exploration of Resident Evil 4 Remake's Village. Leon and Ashley have arrived at the Castle, the second area of the game and where the seventh chapter begins. Make your way to the Peddler, which has new weapons and items. Make sure to swap your rifle for the Stingray, as well as pick up the Castle treasure map and, if you want to take a really powerful weapon for emergencies, the Broken Butterfly. Before continuing, go around the room to the south to find a chest with an Ancient Compass.
Go along the only possible path and, when you reach the small Chapel, you will face some cattle with a gigantic plague, stronger and more resistant than those you have seen so far. Take out your shotgun and blow it up before it gets close.
Continue along the only possible path and you will reach a wall where, after a cutscene, some enemies will attack you from a distance. This looks like a job for your brand new Stingray, which with a scope can make short work of those pesky crossbowmen.
After you take out the first two, there will be more as you go up, so take cover to the left and try to take them out with well-aimed headshots. A little further up you'll see the pesky guys using catapults. You can technically shoot the barrel next to the catapult on top of the wall, directly in front of you. Run north and up the stairs to the east. Once up, run across the bridge to the west and then south. You'll be able to drop down into the cannon tower. Look for the metal counterweight on the side and interact with it to raise the gun.
From there you can head west and reach the northwest corner of the area, where you can shoot a red barrel between the battlements of the tower in front of you. This will make one of the catapults disappear. If you look to the right you'll see the other two, you can find red barrels for
If you continue to the northwest corner from your position, you'll find a chest containing an Elegant Bracelet. You can shoot the blue medallion next to it if you want, but we're going to wait until the area is clear. Open the door next to you and continue east. Now the goal is to reach the cannon. Since you've removed the catapults, it won't be difficult.
When you reach it, make sure you take out 1 enemy with the cannon for the corresponding challenge, and then aim the artillery piece at the gate on the right.
Blow it up and you can continue.
Before continuing, it's time to kill the blue medallions in the area. You can use our guide if you want, and then continue east to advance to the next area. You'll find the Peddler and, after advancing a little, you'll see a cutscene. When you finish, you must defeat new enemies. The shield guys are well protected, but you can destroy the shield with gunfire, run through it with your rifle, and shoot them in one foot.
Look around the area. There are a couple of vases with items, a locked drawer on the north wall, three locked corners, and an alcove for Ashley in the northeast corner.
Have her go through there and she'll open the door for you.
Go behind the stairs to reach the southeast corner of the room, where you'll find a chest containing a Perfume Bottle. Don't forget to break the vases on the furniture, there are more items in them. Now go north, through the crack, and look to the left. Hanging above you is a lantern containing a Ruby.
Continue forward to a dungeon, where there is one locked door and one locked door, so you can only go one way to the Dungeon Key. When you come back, you'll see a cutscene. This enemy is a Garrador, and it's totally blind. Avoid running and, when returning to the central area, crouch down and avoid the chains hanging from the ceiling. If you touch them, they will make noise and the bug will detect you, but if not, you can stab it in the back.
Technically, it's possible to kill him safely like this, but there's a good chance your knife will break before then. Ideally, you'll want to shoot the parasite that comes out when you stab him to maximize damage. He may not track you after this, but just in case, shoot with the most powerful weapon you have. He'll drop a jewel (it doesn't count as part of the treasures in the area), pick it up as well as the resources in the room, open the door with the crank and go back up.
Now you can open the locked door and reach a storage room of sorts. Go forward and you'll find a couple of items. Also, when you reach the Spinel on the east side, look west and you'll see Mechanical Castellan #07 on a shelf.
In the next room, pick up three swords (gold, iron and rusty) from the reliefs on the wall and look east. There is a gate with three symbols on it, and to the left of it, a rope to pull on to make several gongs appear behind the gate and one on the rope you pulled on. You must shoot the gongs with the symbol of the gate closing. This will allow you to pick up the Bloody Sword.
Now you need to place the four swords in the correct relief. From left to right, they are iron, gold, bloody and rusty.
Continue on and pick up the Gold Bracelet in the next hallway, before returning to the Audience Chamber, but on the first floor instead of the ground floor. In the northeast corner you will see a door with symbols and a rope next to it, like the one on the treasure door. Activating it will turn on the gongs, and you must shoot the two with the symbols on the gate to open it.
First, go down the stairs on the west side, and then you can use the lamps to get to the other side and locate the gongs. If you're having trouble with them, the ones you want are the one next to the gate in the northeast corner in the southeast corner. Don't go out the east door. Using the lamps, go to the southwest corner of the first floor to drop down to the ground floor. You'll be in one of the closed areas of the Audience Chamber and you can open the chest with a Golden Hourglass.
Now, go east on the top floor. Open the gate and go down the stairs. There's a safe room downstairs, and you can unlock the door to the west, but to advance, go east. In the Water Room, start by blowing the head off the guy in the back, who's carrying a crossbow.
Go a little further and enemies will appear.
You need to take them out quickly, before they pose a threat to Ashley.
Remember that the Stinger goes through shields and enemies, you can hit several at once if they're in a row. If for whatever reason you're having a hard time, you can go back the way you came, opening the gate. Enemies will come at you, but they won't be able to from several directions. With the area secured, gather resources and head northeast. As you go down the stairs, you can take out the Stingray and shoot the enemies before heading down.
You won't be able to kill them all, but you can kill enough of them to make the area much safer. Go down and finish the job, then grab the Golden Wheel from the statue on the east side. Start by using it on the mechanism on the south side of this lower area to lower a staircase. Be careful, there will be new enemies as you go up, including three armed with crossbows. After clearing the area, use the wheel on the middle mechanism.
When you reach the last area, activate the wheel at the bottom and have Ashley climb up the sides. You must protect it (and Leon himself) while she activates the other two wheels, in order to cross. Remember that there are two wheels on each side, so you must do this twice before you can cross.
When you cross, you will come out into a courtyard where you must have Ashley climb up the north wall to open the door for you. Continue a little further and you will go to Chapter 8.
