When I was first getting started with this game I thought the only Standard Character that I wanted was Grace. The first S-Rank I actually got was Grace's younger sister Koleda. And now with only 2 left to get, Grace is one of them. It's as if my account knew this was a way to hook me. Well thankfully it's been a long time since then and I ended up getting the Limited Character that I really wanted and she's just the most overpowered character in this game haha
Anyway Vivian is an Ether Anomaly Character which means she quickly builds up an effect called Corruption that deals damage over time and is very good against Ethereals. However after being spoiled by Miyabi I've noticed that Vivian's playstyle is a little less intuitive. You basically just attack with her but then she'll start flying and when that happens you should hold down the attack button so she does a divebomb attack which is where her major damage is. Also keep in mind if her skill is charged then you can use her skill to fly and skip over the regular attacks.
For Hugo he's actually easier as long as you know which attack to look out for. That said besides Totalize he's not really that good. And as an Ice Agent he's going to be compared to the Ice powerhouse that is Miyabi. He can't really hold up lol. He's got style though. I like the sound effects Mihoyo chose for him.
Anyway I wasn't able to get Vivian but I ended up getting a guarantee for my next drop and with only 11 to go before Mihoyo has to give me that S-Rank. In the next version we're getting the new Void Hunter Yixuan who is set to become another overpowered character like Miyabi so all in all I think I made out ok for this version. How about you guys? Did you get Vivian or Hugo or are you also waiting for Yixuan?
