Hello, Everyone.
In my 2 previous posts, I shared how I found the Box of Ix Chel and then lost it too. And even after a lot of trouble, I failed to retrieve the box from Trinity. And I finally went back to Paititi to meet with Etzil there and try to stop the ritual.
Here is the whole map of Paititi and the mountain temple. But the whole area was covered with soldiers of the cult army and the Trinity army. So, we made a plan to approach separately. While Uchu, Jonah and the others were taking the main route, I decided to take an underwater path to pop up in the middle of the temple.
You may think that the underwater passage is the safe path, that's why I took it. But that's not the case. Because of the volcanic eruption earlier, the whole place was like an underwater hell with broken rocks, fire and laava.
It was a long dive underwater, but I finally reached the mountain temple. After reaching there, what I witnessed was total mayhem. The Trinity soldiers were there blowing off buildings with missiles and killing off the Yaxxil soldiers, too. Yaxxil are those crazy monsters that gave me a hard time earlier when I was in the temple. Trinity also blew up the bridge I was supposed to use to reach the next part.
I was blocked from all ways, but I needed to move ahead anyhow. So, I was climbing rocks and jumping from one cliff to another to move ahead. And finally, at a point, I met with the leader of the Yaxxil army. She was praying to the gods. There we had some conversation and they understood that I'm a friend trying to help them. And choose me as the Tal Ix Chel. I don't know what it means, but it seemed like something special, and she also gave me a mask that she used to wear.
It looked like the mask meant a lot to the soldiers. Cause earlier they were trying to kill me but now they were all bowing towards me and were ready to follow my lead. There was a giant gate that they opened, and I believe it is the path to the place of the ritual.
Without the bridge it was almost impossible to move forward. It was all climbing and jumping only. I've fell down many times and died too.
In the second image, you can see them bringing in tanks and armored vehicles using the helicopter to fight against the Yaxxil.
After fighting off the first batch of soldiers, we found a huge gate blocking our way. After breaking down the gate, we finally found Dominguez with his army. He was moving forward to the place of the ritual. I tried to talk him out of it, but it didn't work, and instead, he ordered his army to kill us all and moved ahead.
I tried to chase him down, but there were countless soldiers blocking my way. There were so many that the Yaxxil army was not enough to handle them, so I was providing support with my machine gun from behind. They all were wearing bulletproof armour and helmets, so it took much more damage than usual to deal with them. But there was an armoured vehicle blocking the path, and someone shooting with the mounted machine gun was causing most of the trouble.
After I was down with the foot soldiers, I finally reached the armoured vehicle and found out that it was the same commander of the Trinity army who killed Unuratu in Paititi before and who also tried to kill me by lying about Jonah's death. I was about to get my revenge, but before that, the Leader of the Yaxxil army jumped on him and she ripped out his veins by slashing his neck. I guess that was way better than a bullet in the head.
After that, I was finally able to reach the place of the ritual, and I'll share that part in my next post. You can see a glimpse of that part in the thumbnail below. I uploaded the gameplay to my YouTube channel and shared it below from there. Hope you will like it.
