RDR 2: Money Lending and Other Sins.

Hi, today I'm about to write another post about a Red Dead Redemption 2 and in this post, I'll show how to get back money from debtors who forgets to pay back.

Money Lending and Other Sins

At the camp, Strauss asks Arthur to retrieve money from three debtors that owe him money. Arthur must collect debts from ranch hand Chick Matthews, Polish smallholder farmer Mr. Wróbel, and ranch maid Lilly Millet.

You may get good insight of this mission by watching the gameplay video above that I shared without commentary.

Strauss looked bit tensed as the debtors were not returning the money and he was thinking that those people must be more enthusiastic paying back to someone like Arthur who was happy to borrow from someone like Strauss.

This mission was divided in three parts as there were three debtors and I looked in the map after I I got the note with the name of all three debtors and it looked like two of them were not that far in location but the third one was a lot further.

The third one was closer from my location but I set my course towards the far ones first.

On the way, I've found this man who challenged me in some friendly competition and he said that he came all the way from Mexico to challenge a real American Gunslinger and asked me if I was him.

Well, I'm not the American Gunslinger but I definitely am a real gunslinger so I accepted the challenge and started showing off my shooting skills and we had bet money on this as well.

The first challenge was to shoot more bottles than the opponent and I won by shooting double of what the opponent shot. The stranger then wanted to raise the stake to 10 dollars and I accepted that.

I won the bet money after winning the second challenge by shooting flying birds and then I shot that man down when he was leaving and I looted him after that but didn't find any money and it seemed like he lost his last penny to me as well as his life, lol.

Then I rode my horse to the first location of the first debtors who was Chick Matthews and I asked a people around there about him. The stranger was scared and pointed me to the debtor Chick Matthews who tried to escape me riding his horse and I started chasing him.

After a good chase, I caught him using my lasso and he told me that the money was hidden somewhere and asked me to untie him but I didn't untie him.

I took the map of the location where he hid the money and it looks like the money was inside a tree somewhere.

I was leaving him there and then I came back, I carried him to the rail track and I left him there tied so the next train can do some justice with him.

I followed the map and found the big tree where the money was hidden and the debt was successfully recovered.

Now to the next debtor and it was Lilly Millet in Emerald Ranch. There were a man and a lady shouting at each other on a bench and I went to ask them about the debtor.

Turned out, that lady was our debtor and when Arthur asked her to pay back she said she doesn't have the money and instead of paying back, her boyfriend there started fighting me and I taught him a good lesson.

Then I recovered the debt from the corpse of that man and I shot that lady to death as well.

Then onto the next debtor who was a lot far away from me and I had to ride the horse for quite a bit and I did some crime on the way as well, lol.

This man, he also said he has nothing as it was a bad winter. Man, I see every debtors are refusing to pay which is real bad.

Well, I had to beat him up so he tells me where the money is or he gives it away.

That man really didn't have the money instead he asked me to loot whatever I want from his place so I took an antique watch, a platinum pocket watch, a fine brandy, a set of silver earring, a canned corned beef and some money it seemed which should cover things.

Then I returned to the camp taking the debt funds and I donated all the recovered debt to the camp funds.

And then Strauss came over and said there's anther who is a farmer in Valentine named Mr. Downes. I rode my horse to his farm to retrieve the debt.

He was happily working in his farm and he seemed scared and he tried to hit me foolishly so I taught him a lesson as well.

It looked like this man was really in a very poor condition and he just asked for a little time as he was trying his best to repay the debt so Arthur left him there when his family ran and started taking care of him.

Arthur returned to the camp to Strauss told him the situation of the farmer and the mission was completed at that very moment. I can't wait to see and talk about the next mission but no more today. Here I'm finishing the post for today and I'll come talk about the next mission very soon.
