Hello to all the Hive Gaming community, I was a long time missing due to college and work, and I must say that I missed being able to pass some games and I had a good time pending this game, especially because I am a big fan of the Megaman saga and for me Megaman 8 is a very special game, so I wanted to give a chance to his "continuation" and this would be Megaman and Bass and in this post I will talk about my opinion about this installment of the saga.
Screenshots from my PCMegaman and Bass is as I said before the official continuation of Megaman 8, and is that not only we have a very similar aesthetic section (actually being almost the same) but also we will have some of the characters from the previous installment in this saga, as Green Devil, Tengu man and Astro man, we also have a novelty for this saga and is that we can choose between two characters our adventure (as in the Megaman X saga), we can choose our beloved blue protagonist and Bass the self-proclaimed strongest robot created by Dr. Willy (who appears in the previous entry of the game).
Screenshots from my PCAnd despite this game takes some aspects of its predecessor and having the same mechanics of the saga, it has brought us a totally different level of gameplay, and I can say that Megaman and Bass is much more difficult than Megaman 8, not only in the battles with the bosses (which can be a huge headache), but also the simple fact of going through the normal levels became a much greater challenge, and is that a significant change seen in this game is that we do not have the surprise spheres at any time in the game, not even the charge of recovering health and energy from our special attacks before each boss.
Screenshots from my PCOne of the negative aspects of this game, is that being a version for Gameboy Advance audio section is quite bad, and is that Megaman 8 not only brought us a very characteristic sound effects but also a very entertaining and memorable soundtrack, which the audio section of Gameboy unfortunately could not match, also to be a "portable" version, some aspects of the display of the screen are lost and this can be a big disadvantage when we cross some worlds because we can not see some obstacles.
Screenshots from my PCSomething that can also be made clear is that it is a fairly short game (not only because it is a version for a mobile console) because in each world we will only have one part, not like in Megaman 8 that each world had two parts and some of these in its division had a semi boss in these, this installment only presented us with 2 of these and really did not present a division between the parts of a world.

Screenshots from my PCMegaman and Bass es como dije anteriormente la continuación oficial de Megaman 8, y es que no solo contamos con un apartado estético muy parecido (realmente siendo casi el mismo) sino que también tendremos a algunos de los personajes de la entrega anterior en esta saga, como Green Devil, Tengu man y Astro man, además tenemos una novedad para esta saga y es que podremos elegir entre dos personajes nuestra aventura (como en la saga de Megaman X), podremos elegir a nuestro querido protagonista azul y a Bass el autoproclamado robot más fuerte creado por el doctor Willy (quien aparece en la entrada anterior del juego).
Screenshots from my PCY es que a pesar de este juego tomar algunos aspectos de su antecesor y de poseer la misma mecánica de la saga, nos ha traído un nivel totalmente diferente de juego, y es que puedo decir que Megaman and Bass es mucho más difícil que Megaman 8, no solo en las batallas con los bosses (los cuales pueden llegar a ser un dolor de cabeza enorme), sino que también el simple hecho de atravesar los niveles normales se convirtió en un reto mucho mayor, y es que un cambio significativo que se ve en este juego es que no tenemos las esferas sorpresa en ningún momento del juego, ni siquiera la encarga de recuperar la salud y la energía de nuestros ataques especiales antes de cada boss.
Screenshots from my PCUno de los aspectos negativos que tiene este juego, es que al ser una versión para Gameboy Advance el apartado de audio es bastante malo, y es que Megaman 8 no solo nos trajo unos efectos de sonido muy característicos sino también un soundtrack bastante entretenido y memorable, cosa que el apartado de audio de Gameboy lamentablemente no podría igualar, también a ser una versión "portátil", algunos aspectos de la visualización de la pantalla se llegan a perder y esto puede ser una gran desventaja cuando atravesamos algunos mundos ya que no podremos ver algunos obstáculos.
Screenshots from my PCAlgo que se puede dejar también en claro es que es un juego bastante corto (no solo porque es una versión para una consola móvil) ya que en cada mundo solo tendremos una parte, no como en Megaman 8 que cada mundo tenía dos partes y algunas de estas en su división contaban con un semi boss en estos, esta entrega solo nos presento 2 de estos y realmente no presentaban una división entre las partes de un mundo.
Screenshots from my PCA pesar de no se tan bien recibido por la crítica como su antecesor, Megaman and Bass es un juego bastante entretenido de la saga, además de realmente tener un grado de dificultad bastante serio, sin más que agregar los veré en otro post y espero volver a publicar con más frecuencia otra vez.
