Hello to all the Hive Gaming community, I hope you are great, these last days I decided to give a chance to a game that when it came out I couldn't try (since when I had it the CD didn't want to work) and being a very fan of this character being able to try it lately was a really quite epic moment, and is that despite how "vintage" the game is, it was a quite entertaining experience that I will tell you about now.

As a person who grew up with a PS1, knows from a very good source that any game made by ACTIVISION was going to be a work of art and Spiderman that came out in 2000 confirmed that even 21 years after its release, it presents a very interesting gameplay and manages to bring the skills of our Friendly Neighbor and his villains, despite the few resources that were available at that time, besides presenting very entertaining worlds that remind us of the comics and the animated series of that time.

Something that we must make very clear is that we could not expect a very high graphic capacity with a PS1 game but in this game we really had something very well done, both in the non-playable animations, the intro and the battles against the bosses, the only really bad thing was the design of Black Cat (that di is very funny haha), also characters like Venom or Rhino look very well done and move very well according to how they would do in the comics or series.

Another point in favor of this game was the voice cast that had (I played the English version) and it really was very accurate, examples like Spidey himself, Venom or Carnage had an important role in making this game so epic, besides also presenting us the opportunity to collect classic and important comics of the history of our hero.

Something that I really found great was all the ways in which we can attack or perform different actions, and is that we go from the typical punches and kicks to be able to throw balls of terañana or shields that explode to remove life to our enemies, we also have the ability to focus and shoot spider web to immobilize or swing us to more distant targets.

To say that I liked this game quite a lot would be short haha can be noted in the post what I considered this game, although like everything has its negative aspects and is that the mobility of the character at times becomes complex, if you need to jump or move from one place to another you must do it too slow because otherwise it will be very abrupt and fall, and in fights like against Venom this same difficult to avoid or attack this same enemy in their two clashes.

There is not much left to add but for those who want a dose of good nostalgia and are fans of Amiga Neighbor, this game will be a perfect choice for you, plus it will make you spend some good and a little stressful moments as it can have a degree of difficult even in normal mode quite serious, without more to add I hope you are great and we'll see each other another time.

Hola a toda la comunidad de Hive Gaming, espero se encuentren genial, estos últimos días decidí darle una oportunidad a un juego que cuando salió no pude probar (ya que cuando lo tuve el CD no quiso funcionar) y que siendo un muy fan de este personaje poderlo probar últimamente fue un momento realmente bastante épico, y es que a pesar de lo "vintage" que es el juego, fue una experiencia bastante entretenida de la que les hablaré ahora.

Como persona que creció junto a un PS1, sabe de muy buena fuente que cualquier juego hecho por ACTIVISION iba a ser una obra de arte y es que el Spiderman que salió en los 2000 confirmo que aún al tener 21 años de su lanzamiento nos presenta una jugabilidad bastante interesante y que logra a pesar de los pocos recursos que se tenía en esa época lograr llevar las habilidades de nuestro Amigable Vecino y de sus villanos, además de presentarnos mundos bastante entretenidos que nos recuerdas a los cómics y la serie animada de esa época.

Algo que debemos dejar muy en claro es que no se podía esperar una capacidad gráfica muy alta con un juego de PS1 pero en este juego tuvimos realmente algo muy bien logrado, tanto en las animaciones no jugables, el intro y las batallas contras los jefes, lo único realmente mal hecho fue el diseño de Black Cat (ese di es muy chistoso jaja), además personajes como Venom o Rhino se ven muy bien hechos y se mueven muy acordé a como lo harían en los cómics o series.

Otro punto a favor de este juego fue el cast de voces que tuvo (yo jugué la versión en inglés) y realmente fue muy acertado, ejemplos como el mismo Spidey, Venom o Carnage tuvieron un papel importante en hacer este juego tan épico, además de también presentarnos la oportunidad de recolectar cómics clásicos e importantes de la historia de nuestro héroe.

Algo que realmente me pareció genial fue todas las formas en las que podemos atacar o realizar diferentes acciones, y es que pasamos desde los típicos golpes y patadas hasta poder lanzar bolas de terañana o escudos que explotan para quitar vida a nuestros enemigos, además contamos con la capacidad de poder enfocar y disparar telaraña para inmovilizar o columpiarnos a objetivos más lejanos.

Decir que este juego me gustó bastante quedaría corto jaja pueden notar en el post lo que consideró de este juego, aunque como todo tiene sus aspectos negativos y es que la movilidad del personaje en algunos momentos llega a ser compleja, si necesitas saltar o moverte de un lugar a otro debes hacerlo demasiado lento porque sino será muy brusco y caerás, y en peleas como contra Venom esto mismo dificulta evitar o atacar a este mismo enemigo en sus dos enfrentamientos.

No me queda mucho que agregar más que para aquellos que quieren una dosis de buena nostalgia y son fanáticos del Amiga Vecino, este juego será una perfecta opción para ustedes, además que les hará pasar unos buenos y un poco estresantes momentos ya que puede llegar a tener un grado de difícil hasta en modo normal bastante seria, sin más que agregar espero que se encuentren genial y nos veremos en otra oportunidad.
