Hello to all the Hive Gaming community today we will continue with the Retro Gaming Blogging Challenge of our friend @marcoquin, and today is one of the most complicated days I've seen among the days of this great retro, but choose The videogame you most identify with as a gamer is something very very difficult because I got to play many games as a child and many of them were responsible for defining what would be my taste for games over the years; so this is quite complicated to choose since RPG, Survival Horror, arcade and fighting games are my favorite genres and I have tried a lot of them so choosing this game has been a very hard choice but I consider that Silent Hill 2 is the game with which I feel more identified.

As I already told you to choose a retro game among all the huge list of games I tried is almost impossible, but for a horror fan this game was in charge of defining my love (or hate for Resident Evil 6 hahaha) for this genre, and Silent Hill 2 is what I consider as the definition of The Horror game has an atmosphere that makes you anxious, a soundtrack that manages to increase those moments of tension and suspense, the right amount of action (so it is not a little tedious), complicated puzzles and most importantly a story and symbolism that make you want to know more about the game, its history, about the characters and even about the enemies that we will face.

This game not only gave me nightmares until I literally had to sleep with the lights on (and for quite some time I must admit) but it also set a very important precedent for me, and it made me much more critical with the games I gave them a chance, it was no longer just play games to pass them, but it was to analyze the game, try to see all the details of its story (and criticize if it was bad), appreciate how difficult it could be a boss or how complicated it could be to pass a level, I could say that this game was responsible for creating what I would be today in terms of talking and recommending games hahaha.

Talking more about this game would be practically giving you a Review (and I already did one hahaha) so I don't want to add much more to this post but make it clear that this game was responsible for creating my love for Survival Horror so I owe a lot to Team Silent for creating this work of art that not only defined the genre but created the basis for one of the best sagas of video games in history along with Resident Evil (obviously removing Resident Evil 6 and maybe 5), I hope that on this day of @marcoquin's challenge I can read a lot of great entries and that at least some of the community has had a very good time with this game. SourceHola a toda la comunidad de Hive Gaming hoy seguiremos con el Retro Gaming Blogging Challenge de nuestro amigo @marcoquin, y es que hoy es uno de los días mas complicados que he visto entre los días de este genial retro, pero elegir El juego con el que mas te identifiques como gamer es algo muy muy difícil porque llegue a jugar muchos juegos de niño y muchos de ellos se encargaron de definir cual seria mi gusto por los juegos con el pasar de los años; así que esto es bastante complicado de elegir ya que los RPG, los Survival Horror, los juegos de arcade y los de pelea son mis géneros favoritos y he probado una gran cantidad de estos así que elegir este juego ha sido una elección muy dura pero considero que Silent Hill 2 es el juego con el que me siento más identificado.

Como ya les dije elegir un juego retro entre toda la grandísima lista de juegos que probé es casi imposible, pero para un fanático del terror este juego se encargo de definir mi amor (u odio por Resident Evil 6 jajaja) por este género, y es que Silent Hill 2 es lo que considero como la definición de El juego de Terror tiene un ambiente que te genera ansiedad, una banda sonora que logra aumentar esos momentos de tensión y suspenso, la cantidad justa de acción (para que no sea un poco tedioso), puzzles complicados y lo mas importante una historia y un simbolismo que te hacen querer saber mas sobre el juego, su historia, sobre los personajes e inclusive sobre los enemigos a los que nos enfrentaremos.

Este juego no solo se encargó de darme pesadillas hasta literal tener que dormir con las luces encendidas (y por bastante tiempo debo admitir) sino que también planto un precedente muy importante para mí, y es que me hizo mucho más crítico con los juegos a los que les daba una oportunidad, ya no era solo jugar juegos por pasarlos, sino que era analizar el juego, tratar de ver todos los detalles de su historia (y criticar si esta era mala), apreciar lo difícil que podía ser un boss o lo complicado que podía ser pasar un nivel, podría decir que este juego se encargo de crear lo que seria hoy en cuanto a hablar y recomendar juegos jajaja.

Hablar más de este juego sería prácticamente darles un Review (y ya hice uno jajaja) así que no quiero agregar mucho mas a este post sino dejar en claro que este juego fue el encargado de crear mi amor por el Survival Horror así que le debo mucho al Team Silent por haber creado esta obra de arte que no solo definió el genero sino que creo las bases para una de las mejores sagas de videojuegos de la historia junto con Resident Evil (obviamente quitando a Resident Evil 6 y tal vez al 5), espero que en este día del reto de @marcoquin pueda leer muchas entradas geniales y que al menos a algunos de la comunidad este juego les haya marcado un muy buen momento. Espero se encuentren genial y nos veremos en otra oportunidad.
