Hello gamers, I hope you are all having great adventures. I wanted to write this post to give my opinion on the new Turtle Wow Latin American server. I was really surprised by the peak population this server can reach (10k players online), and the community has responded favorably to this server, which is one of the best currently available in its classic version. I should also add that there have been many modifications to this server, as well as new areas, and having such a large and diverse community makes for quite varied interactions.
Significant achievements of the server
The server started off slow but picked up steam. I remember that when it first opened, it was complete chaos, allowing just under 2,000 players to log in at once, while the other 8,000 players had problems with login crashes, launcher failures, latency issues (even though the server was in Peru), and players from Spain had IP problems which meant that after weeks they still couldn't access the server. All of this was gradually fixed as the weeks went by.
On the other hand, as time goes by, we see how developers have created new content, providing unique Warcraft content and continuing many of the stories that were left unfinished (as in the case of the high elves) and new mapping. Another thing I really liked and that brings the server to life are the different challenges and the reward system that can be unlocked to earn store points or unique mounts in the game.
What about the bad stuff?
The server is really good and thoroughly enjoyable in terms of gameplay and latency, but it is not free from errors or problems like ANY OTHER SERVER. I found the community to be QUITE TOXIC, from Gims wanting to give preference to certain people (items and things to players) to streamers doing live streams killing people in dungeons (hardcore challenge) to gain “fame” or “followers.” These are the rumors spreading in the global chat and among guild members within the game. On the other hand, “ninjeo” is the order of the day, since there are no penalties for this type of player who “steals” items from dungeons, making the atmosphere quite heavy and this type of behavior increasingly repetitive.
This server certainly offers great challenges, and I will definitely continue testing it to see how it progresses or “dies,” since this type of “toxic” behavior is causing it to lose more and more players. However, it has reached a point where it has maintained a population of over 6,000 players online at the same time, which is still a lot of people for a private server. In my experience, I think the server has very good challenges, is quite well structured, and so far I haven't encountered any bugs or errors that prevent me from playing. However, (in hardcore mode and on social media) people complain a lot that even with roles such as healer or tank, they find it very difficult to do dungeons because of the toxic behavior of other players (perhaps new or old school). Based on my experience on the server (and I'm only speaking from my own perception), in order for the server to achieve a higher player population, it would need to adjust its rules a little more and prevent this type of harmful behavior.
Even so, it's a server that's thoroughly enjoyable when playing with friends. Completing the game's various challenges and taking long walks throughout Azeroth, I'd like to try another type of challenge and see how far I can go. Thank you very much for reading. Hola gamers espero todos estén llevando buenas aventuras, por mi parte quería hacer este post para dar mi opinión del nuevo servidor latam de turtle wow. la verdad me dejo bastante sorprendido el pico de población que puede llegar a tener este servidor (10k jugadores en linea) y es que la comunidad a respondido favorablemente a este servidor siendo uno de los mejores que hay actualmente en su versión classic, aunque tambien debo agregar que hubo muchas modificaciones de este servidor asi como zonas nuevas, además habiendo una comunidad tan grande y amplia hace que las interacciones sean bastante diversas.
Logros significativos del servidor
El servidor empezó de menos a más, recuerdo que el momento de su apertura fue un completo caos, dejando a entrar poco menos de 2000 jugadores a la vez mientras que los otros ocho mil jugadores tenían problemas con el login caídas, fallos con el launcher, problemas de latencia (aun estando el servidor en peru), jugadores de España con problemas en su IP los cuales luego de semanas no podían acceder al servidor, todo esto se fue arreglando paulatinamente mientras pasaban las semanas.
Por otro lado, al pasar el tiempo vemos como los desarrolladores han creado contenido nuevo proporcionando asi contenido unico de Warcraft y continuando asi muchas de las historias que se dejaron sin terminar (como en el caso de los altos elfos) y mapeado nuevo. Otra de las cosas que me gusto bastante y le dan vida al servidor son los diferentes retos que hay y el sistema de recompensa que se puede ir desbloqueando para asi ir ganado puntos de tienda o monturas únicas del juego
¿Qué hay de lo malo?
Realmente el servidor es muy bueno y completamente disfrutable a nivel de jugabilidad o latencia, sin embargo, no está libre de errores o problemas como CUALQUIER OTRO SERVIDOR. La comunidad me parecio BASTANTE TOXICA, desde Gims queriendo darles preferencia a personas (objetos y cosas a jugadores) hasta streamers haciendo lives matando personas en mazmorras (reto hardcore) para ganar asi “fama” o “seguidores” son los rumores que se esparcen en el chat global y miembros de las hermandades dentro del juego. Por otra parte, el “ninjeo” está a la orden del día, ya que al no haber sanciones a este tipo de jugadores que se “roba” items de mazmorras vuelve el ambiente bastante pesado haciéndose este tipo de conductas cada vez mas repetitivas.
Un servidor que sin duda ofrece grandes retos y que la verdad seguiré probando sin lugar a dudas viendo como avanza o “muere” el servidor ya que gracias a este tipo de conductas “toxicas” pierde cada vez más jugadores, aunque ya llego un punto donde se a mantenido con una población de mas 6k de jugadores en linea a la vez, lo cual es aun muchas personas para un servidor privado. Por mi experiencia creo que el servidor tiene muy buenos retos, esta bastante bien estructurados y hasta los momentos no consegui bugs o errores que me impidan jugar, sin embargo (en la modalidad hardcore y en redes sociales) las personas se quejan bastante que aun teniendo roles como curador o tank les cuesta mucho hacer mazmorra por las conductas tan toxicas de otros jugadores (quizas nuevos o de la vieja escuela), según mi experiencia en el servidor (y hablo solo de mi percepción) para que el servidor pueda conseguir una población de jugadores más altas tendría que ajustar un poco mas sus reglas y evitar este tipo de comportamientos nocivos.
Aun asi es un servidor que jugándolo con amigos es completamente disfrutable. Cumpliendo los diferentes retos del juego y haciendo largas caminatas por todo Azeroth, por mi parque quisiera probar otro tipo de reto y ver hasta donde puedo llegar, muchas gracias por leerme no te olvides de comentar, compartir y votar, hasta luego aventurero.
