I have 4 more days before I have to get off my butt and rejoin reality!! ๐ฑ
And 6 more days until I try to weave that reality with my new virtual life in Lost Ark! ๐
In the meantime, there is a lot more Andromeda to experience, and a lot more Andromeda I will insist upon sharing with you.
Behold!

During today's playthrough I helped save the wonderful Fantasy Forest planet, Havarl, from utter doom and decay. It was during this point that I also had a sudden wish for the next Mass Effect game.
I hope that in the next Mass Effect title, they'll let us check our email whilst -not- onboard the ship.
It gets so tiresome to finish up a small quest chain, hop aboard and prepare to fly somewhere else, only to get a message from someone asking to speak with you on the planet you've just left. Or the journalist on the Nexus!! She never fails to send her message asking for an interview until after I hop back aboard my ship.
If I could check those email messages in real-time, or by going into a certain communications area on the planet/Citadel/Nexus, that would be so much better... and less irritating.

After going back to Havarl because of the above complaint, I was soon asked to quickly go scan a bunch of mutated creatures before they ceased to mutate thanks to my efforts in restoring the environment on this planet.
I've been really trying to get good screenshots of some action, but fail most of the time. Until now. After throwing a ball of fiery goodness at this mad monster, I activated Ansel at just the right moment!

The creature in flames. Liam ducking and running for cover, throwing himself behind the giant boulder. Or perhaps gallantly leaping in front of my person to protect her. My person standing there pleased at the chaos her incineration ability has caused.
Perfection!

After successfully finishing up on Havarl, we left the lush Fantasy Forest in favour of snow and blizzards. Voeld. The planet where absolute zero has been reached in small frozen pockets.
Here I changed my Ansel settings slightly to better complement the vast whiteness we'll now be enduring.

While fighting a random group of Kett, I tried to take some more action shots. In the above one, my Pathfinder had just sent an enemy flying after leaping on it with a sword. Phwoar!
Not quite as great as the other action shot I managed to get, but I'm getting there.

Soon, after disposing of several hundred Kett, I helped the Angara by finding some boobs underground, and after that it was time to activate the planet's super secret technology to start melting the ice and transforming this world back into the lush ocean-side paradise it once was.
With the degrees climbing a few notches, now some fellow Milky Way species could settle somewhat comfortably in this white wasteland.

With my people settling onto the planet, I decided that I would finally help rescue the most renowned of the Angaran people and progress the main story a little further.
The pilots had been patiently waiting for what was probably a few weeks in-game. Freezing their un-booted toes off, they ushered my character into their spacecraft and together we went on our rescue mission.

There were a few issues whilst performing the rescue -- namely, my Pathfinder getting her head pulverised by a big ugly creature -- but soon things all went well and the most renowned of the Angara was rescued.

With the rescue mission complete, my people were now allowed full access to the great Angaran city, home of the only properly working terraforming technology in this entire cluster.
Grateful to leave snowy wastes far behind for the time being, the ship gladly flew towards the Angaran planet at top speed, ready to embrace warmth, fresh air, and crystal clear waters. Luxuries that hadn't been experienced for 600 years.

The city was every bit as beautiful as it should be and the Angaran people were (mostly) welcoming.
After having lunch with Liam, checking out the vault of planetary modification, and dealing with a few bits and pieces, it was time to admire the place one last time...

...and then we prepared to set forth once more on the morrow.
Plans for tomorrow, so far, are mainly to complete Liam's loyalty mission -- which also happens to be my favourite mission in the whole game! It's hilarious, with Star Wars references. What's not to like? Plus, since my lady is romancing him for the first time, I'm curious to see if there's any other dialogue or whatever in the mission.
Other than that, land on Kadara for the first time and resist Reyes' charms!

Until next time!! ๐๐ฎ
