Greetings, dear players! Thank you for your patience and waiting for the new update 1.4.1 of “OceanPlanet”!
In the new big update 1.4.1 of “OceanPlanet” you will find many changes such as new features, new locations, new characters and new adventures! Let's find out more about what has been changed and how these changes will be useful in future adventures in post-apocalyptic world.
First of all, let's start with the update of the city screen. The updated city screen has become bigger thanks to new locations, updated and new buildings where the Player can find some new features. The scale of the city screen has also been changed for easier navigation.
Added 6 new buildings (you’ll be able to visit some of them in the next update):
- Junkyard (already available)
Caring for the environment is very important for the planet, and especially for the city, which is trying to recover from pollution. At the Junkyard, there will be an opportunity to recycle garbage to get money and points to your karma (you will learn about the karma system a little later). Garbage can also be recycled into useful resources, such as soil or gas. - Armory (already available)
In this location, you will be able to produce useful weapons and various items that will help you in your adventure and especially battles. Moreover, you can unpack lootboxes in the Armory. - Prison
A place for those, who have broken the rules or misbehaved. However, do not worry you are not here forever, if you make a guarantee payment (depends on the violation), you will be free and be able to continue your adventures. Prison will also have quests, which can only be obtained by becoming a prisoner. - Gas station
The fuel in vessels is not eternal and will run out someday. Gas station is a useful place that will allow the Player to refuel your vessel or recharge the battery. Currently, the petrol pipe is occupied by raiders and that’s the reason why the fuel prices are extremely high. Fuel feature set has not been implemented yet, so now your vessels are being driven by the great power of Shrimp God. - Bigboard
A huge billboard that is broadcasting various advertisements 24/7. If you watch them, you’ll get a nice bonus. - Dungeon
Dungeons are a big part of all kinds of adventures and expeditions and "OceanPlanet" is no exception. In the depths of the Dungeon, there will be an opportunity to level up your character by defeating monsters and obtaining valuable resources and artifacts.
Updated design of 3 buildings:
- Market — now you can trade cards here (Spike has moved to Armory).
- Player’s territory
- Central tower
Interiors inside 5 new useful locations are available (existing and future functionality will be described in the next post).
Temple, Junkyard, Hotel, Barber shop and Armory (in this version Max can help you with unpacking the lootboxes)
Moreover, the interface is upgraded and some game animations are included to make the game prettier.
Cards:
There are ‼️45 new cards‼️ in this update, which the Player can collect, trade, or unpack.
Unpacking the cards is available at the Altar (located in the Player's Territory).
Card trading is available in the Market.
The Player can check out cards and fragments on a special collection screen. Moreover, 2 new card categories have been added - Equipment and Vessel.
Lootbox update:
Now you can mine 3 types of lootboxes.
In the Lootbox Store, you can purchase any lootboxes. If you are a gambler, there is a new special option in the Lootbox Store — "Chance", where you can buy one, two or three random lootboxes and get an appropriate number of them with equal probability. Max can help you with unpacking them in the Armory. If you want to open wooden boxes by yourself, you can buy or craft a crowbar. To open containers and military boxes, you’ll need some other equipment which is not currently available.
Card fragments
By opening different types of boxes, the probability to receive cards is also different. The player can get: in a wooden lootbox — 1 or 2 parts of tier I, in a metal container — 3 parts of cards tier I-II, in a military box — 5 parts of cards tier I-III. That means that you can collect items by parts from now. Each card has its own amount of fragments to be collected for a completion.
Ship update:
The vessels didn’t sail past the changes too — we’ve opened the dock, added equipment for the ships and the ability to settle the crew. Moreover, you can open the blueprint pop-up from anywhere across the game!
Dear players, all the equipment and outfit doesn’t give any effects to the game balance at the moment. Please be patient and wait until the next update. Thank you :)
Finally, a global performance optimization has been made and we have implemented C24 deposit via KeyChain and Hivesigner. You’ll be able to deposit and withdraw funds through the exchange starting from version 1.4.2 update (today).
Attention! Mobile version does not support this update yet.
We are currently working on the upcoming update of the game for the mobile version and fixing the following features:
- Bug with card fragments
- Inventory bugs and lootboxes unpacking
