Greetings to all in Hive Gaming Community, today I will continue with the Retro Gaming Challenge that our colleague @marcoquin proposed us and for today's topic that would be the ninth day I have as title The Video Game in which I considered myself an expert. In several of the games that I got to play as a child there were some that I was really good at and others that instead I was horribly bad at, this time I will discuss a Sega Genesis game which I played on a Genesis emulator on pc and which I was really good at, enough to consider me an expert in it at that time.

The game is WWF Raw from 1994 which I liked a lot and was one of the games I played the most among the extensive list of Genesis games that had the emulator. This game had pretty good graphics for the time and music that was great to listen to and you mentalizabas as if they were really in the WWF Ring, my favorite character and which practically always played were The Undertaker. This game had several game modes such as 1 vs 1, Tag Team, Survivor Series and the well known Royal Rumble. At the moment of choosing the characters you were shown a real photo of the same one along with its data like nationality, height, movements, all this was fantastic since one knew to the perfection that wrestler was and to see it in the photo just as they were in real life was amusing.

I got to invest so much time in this game that I had reached the point where I never lost any match and I knew how to handle all my opponents to win easily, one of the things I remember doing the most and that entertained me too much was always playing the Royal Rumble with The Undertaker entering first and beating the other 29. I remember that I had managed to master this game so well that I always tried when I played the Royal Rumble to be the one who eliminated the 29 wrestlers and even do it as they were entering and before another wrestler enters, if you do not know about this in the Royal Rumble two wrestlers enter first and every so often another wrestler enters until a total of 30 but in the game if you eliminated the wrestler with whom you were in the ring and you were alone automatically entered the next and did not wait for the time for it.

One of the few bad things about this game was the fact that it was missing several types of matches that one saw in the WWF in real life, the power to break the commentary table with a wrestler and even a rather sad detail in the Royal Rumble was the fact that it was impossible to have many wrestlers in the ring at the same time making it so only 4 could be at the same time and had to wait to be eliminated so that the next wrestler would enter the ring. This was understandable because at that time being able to have 20-25 AI controlled wrestlers in the ring at the same time must have been almost impossible to achieve.

This game really gave me a lot of fun and I felt a real expert in it, in the fights where you used chairs or other objects to hit your opponent was fun to see as well as throwing them running against the metal bars and see how they fell to the ground, you could even hit the referee to thus use objects and not disqualify you. Truly a great game in its time that could also be played with up to 4 players which made it perfect to play with your friends. Did you ever get to play this game back in the day?

Un saludo para todos en Hive Gaming Community, hoy continuare con el Retro Gaming Challenge que nos propuso nuestro colega @marcoquin y para el tema de hoy que sería el noveno día tengo como título El Videojuego en el cual me consideraba un experto. En varios de los juegos que llegue a jugar de pequeño había algunos que se me daban realmente bien y otros que en su lugar se me daban horriblemente mal, en esta ocasión comentare un juego de la Sega Génesis al cual jugaba en un emulador de Génesis en pc y el cual se me daba realmente bien, lo suficiente para considérame un experto en el mismo en esa época.

El juego se trata de WWF Raw de 1994 el cual me gustaba mucho y era uno de los juegos que más jugaba entre la extensa lista de juegos de Génesis que tenía el emulador. Este juego tenia graficas bastante buenas para la época y una música que eran genial para escuchar y te mentalizabas como si en verdad estuvieran en el Ring de la WWF, mi personaje favorito y con el cual prácticamente siempre jugaba eran The Undertaker. Este juego tenia diversos modos de juegos como lo eran el 1 vs 1, el Tag Team, Survivor Series y el tan conocido Royal Rumble. Al momento de escoger los personajes se te mostraba una foto real del mismo junto con sus datos como Nacionalidad, altura, movimientos, todo esto era fantástico ya que uno sabía a la perfección que luchador era y el verlo en la foto tal cual como salían en la vida real era divertido.

A este juego le llegue a invertir tanto tiempo que había llegado al punto donde nunca perdía ningún encuentro y sabía manejar a todos mis oponentes para vencer con facilidad, una de las cosas que más recuerdo hacer y que me entretenía demasiado era siempre jugar el Royal Rumble con The Undertaker entrando de primero y vencer a los otros 29. Recuerdo que había conseguido dominar tan bien este juego que siempre intentaba cuando jugaba al Royal Rumble ser yo quien eliminara a los 29 Luchadores e incluso hacerlo según iban entrando y antes de que entrará otro luchador, por si no saben sobre esto en el Royal Rumble entran dos luchadores de primeros y cada cierto tiempo entra otro luchador hasta un total de 30 pero en el juego si eliminabas al luchador con quien estabas en el Ring y quedabas solo automáticamente entraba el siguiente y no esperaba el tiempo para ello.

Una de las pocas cosas malas de este juego eral el hecho que faltaban varios tipos de combates que uno veía en la WWF en la vida real, el poder rompes la mesa de comentaristas con un luchador e incluso una detalle bastante triste en el Royal Rumble era el hecho que era imposible que hubieran muchos luchadores en el Ring al mismo tiempo haciendo de solo pudieran estar 4 al mismo tiempo y tenia que esperar a ser eliminado alguno para que de esa forma ingresara el siguiente luchador al Ring. De igual forma esto era algo entendible pues para esa época ser capaz de tener a 20-25 luchadores controlados por la IA en el Ring al mismo tiempo debía ser algo casi imposible de lograr

Este juego en verdad me dio mucha diversión y me sentía un verdadero experto en el mismo, en los combates donde usabas sillas u otros objetos para golpear a tu rival era divertido de ver al igual que lanzarlos corriendo contra las rejas metálicas y ver como se caían a suelo, incluso podías golpear al réferi para de esta manera usar objetos y que no te descalificara. En verdad un gran juego en su época que además se podía jugar de hasta 4 jugadores lo cual lo hacía perfecto para jugar con tus amigos. ¿Llegaste alguna vez a jugar este juego en su momento?
