¿Que es Sandbox(SAND)?
En esta ocasión y para iniciar el año 2022, que mejor que traerles un excelente proyecto relacionado con una de las palabras que está en más auge en relación con las criptomonedas (El Metaverso), en tal sentido, les traigo ante ustedes un Review sobre "The Sandbox", un juego alojado en la red de Ethereum el cual llamo bastante mi atención desde hace mucho tiempo, cabe destacar que este juego no es nuevo, ya que tuvo sus inicios en 2012 y ha tenido un desarrollo impresionante hasta el día de hoy, pero ¿Que es Sandbox?, este en un juego NFT y a su vez una plataforma de creación de contenido cosa que está muy interesante, tiene lazos de cierta manera con Voxies otro proyecto sobre el cual escribí hace poco y que es nuevo, también basado en la Blockchain de Ethereum. Ahora bien, el objetivo de este proyecto es atraer a un público en particular, los cuales son los jugadores y los diseñadores. ¿Por qué?, la respuesta es sencilla, debido al entorno y los motores de diseño que tienen implementados en este “Metaverso”, donde las personas amantes del diseño gráfico crearan "Mundos" los cuales son activos NFT y dentro de los mismos pueden crear activos que también son NFTs, con el objetivo de atraer la atención de los jugadores a sus universos, debo aclarar que estos activos que se pueden crear están relacionados con los juegos, por ende estos recibirán recompensas por esta participación al igual que los jugadores que decidan adentrarse a dicho mundo. Un poco complicado, pero realmente muy sencillo una vez que experimentas todo lo que es el proyecto en si mismo.
Ademas, estas recompensas son diversificadas entre los jugadores, los poseedores de activos “SAND” el cual es el token interno del juego y el propio sistema que ayuda al impulso de la economía interna del mismo. Con diseños similares a juegos como Minecraft, Roblox etc, Sandbox promete la total propiedad por parte de sus usuarios en todo activo que se desarrolle dentro de la plataforma. Algo que suena realmente genial y por lo que ha ganado una popularidad increíble desde que se lanzo este proyecto.
Opinión
La verdad hace unos cuantos años me interesé por el diseño gráfico y obtuve algunos conocimientos básicos sobre lo que es esta profesión, por ende, puedo abarcar y entender bien el tema tanto como inversionista, jugador y por supuesto ver la parte del "Diseñador". Ahora bien, yendo al punto importante de esta sección, el proyecto llamo mi atención en varios sentidos, los cuales detallare a continuación:
La propiedad de tus diseños: El primero es la libertad de diseño que se tiene en la plataforma, como creador de contenido esto es algo que me emociona a nivel personal, ya que tener la total propiedad de nuestro trabajo es primordial para cualquiera, por supuesto algo muy importante para mí.
Como jugador play2earn: Como jugador, me atrae el saber que hay prácticamente un sin fin de mundos por explorar y divertirme en ellos, teniendo una enorme variedad en cuanto a estos se refiere, la idea de explorar estos mundos es algo que llenaría de emoción a cualquier fanático de este tipo de juegos. Sinceramente esto es el futuro y no hay marcha atrás un “Metaverso”, donde puedes interactuar, mundos diferentes que explorar, algo emocionante y que no quiere perderme.
Como Inversionista y Trader: Como inversionista, como proyecto a largo plazo lo veo genial, ya que no es algo que pueda "destruirse" rápidamente, debido a que tiene unas bases muy sólidas, acompañadas de inversionistas y conexiones muy importantes (aspecto que mencionare más adelante), ademas que el mismo entorno de juego lo hace en extremo difícil de sobre explotar para los jugadores, a mi parecer está muy bien planteado y me enamoro la idea de crear mis mundos y visitar el de los demás.
Plataforma
Es momento de entrar directamente en la funcionalidad de la plataforma, si bien ya quedo clara mi opinión sobre el juego, es necesario que sepamos cómo funciona el entorno dentro del proyecto, el cual está separado en 3 apartados donde tenemos las siguientes herramientas.
VoxEdit: Con este podremos diseñar y materializar en activos NFT lo que este a nuestra imaginación y acorde a la temática que queramos abordar, ya que esta plataforma no nos obliga a mantener un tipo de "tema exacto", somos totalmente independientes de utilizar VoxEdit a nuestro antojo.
Mercado: Ahora bien, ya que quedo claro el asunto de VoxEdit, el mercado es nuestro siguiente paso, ya que al tener nuestros activos NFT, dentro de este entorno podremos comerciar, comprar y vender dichos activos e incluso regalarlos.
Juego: Para los que solo desean jugar y no tienen interés en desarrollar activos NFT para el mercado, pueden dedicarse a jugar en la gran infinidad de mundo para obtener recursos.
Tierras
Para poder entender en profundidad la "Modalidad de Juego" y lo resalto entre comillas, ya que existen muchas dependiendo en que mundo de encuentres, tenemos las "Tierras", las cuales son activos NFT propiedad de usuarios en Sandbox, donde se pueden realizar infinidades de cosas, como, por ejemplo; pueden decorarla, diseñarla y crear juegos dentro de la misma para que los jugadores vayan hacia ellas a disfrutar de la diversión que tienen preparadas para ellos. Un espacio que no tiene muchos limites y que la imaginación entra mucho en juego.
Ahora bien, los “Beneficios” que estas traen son directamente para el propietario, los jugadores y un cierto porcentaje para el proyecto, también debo resaltar que las “Tierras” tienen la cualidad de que pueden ser alquiladas a sus propietarios para ser trabajadas o incluso el mismo propietario puede invitar a otras personas para trabajar en la misma. Algo genial, creas acceso al trabajo en el metaverso, para usuarios que no tienen recursos y deseen ir creciendo en tus tierras.

SAND
Este es el token del juego, el cual tiene un valor muy importante, ya que se utiliza para prácticamente todo dentro de su ecosistema, la distribución de este token en el juego está muy bien planteado y la forma en la que está pautada también me gustó mucho, resaltando que esto hace que la economía sea sostenible. En base a esto, algunos puntos claves y usos de SAND son los siguientes:
Utilidad: Este aspecto es realmente bueno, debido a que para prácticamente cada aspecto del juego se requiere cierta cantidad en tokens SAND para efectuar transacciones, crear activos, subirlos al mercado y venderlos, lo mismo aplica para la adquisición de tierras y a su vez comprar gemas para definir aspectos como la "rareza".
Staking: Empleando tus SAND también puedes hacer un staking en la plataforma, lo cual es una de las formas de obtener gemas en el juego y catalizadores los cuales son muy importantes para el ecosistema en general.
Tarifas: Esto también llamo mi atención, debido a que las tarifas de las transacciones entran directamente en la economía del juego, por ejemplo una de las cosas a tomar en cuenta es que el 5% va directamente al pool de staking como recompensa para los poseedores del token en un apartado llamado "Fundación".
Economía
Teniendo una economía diversa a su disposición los creadores de "The Sandbox" mantienen una economía relativamente estable dentro de su metaverso, distribuyendo el token y manteniendo su valor entre los jugadores, inversionistas para así tener un control regular entre los mismos, por ende, procedo a resaltar algunas de estas características y hablar respecto a la economía interna del juego.
Activos de la empresa: Por la creación y venta de activos como tierras, diseños etc.
Tarifas de suscripción de jugador: Ingresos que estos generan a través de varios modelos de suscripción para obtener acceso a funciones exclusivas del juego como activos, activos premium, entre otros.
Nota: En esto también se encuentran las tarifas que mencione en el apartado anterior.
Ahora bien, teniendo esto claro, sabemos que en cada proyecto tenemos inversionistas y empresas detrás, las cuales poseen cierta cantidad de tokens del proyecto, en este caso SAND, por otro lado, un aspecto que me pareció bien denotar, es que la mayor venta de tokens SAND se llevó a cabo en 2019 junto a una gran cantidad de activos, lo importante aquí es que estos tokens están bloqueados por un periodo de 5 años de los cuales quedan más de 3 años vigentes.

Espero que hayan disfrutado de esta breve “Reseña” sobre Sandbox y su metaverso, es mi deseo en este nuevo año traer contenido más variado a la plataforma y puedan nutrirse del mismo en un ecosistema tan cambiante y en constante evolución como la “Blockchain y las Criptomonedas”. What is Sandbox(SAND)?
On this occasion and to start the year 2022, what better to bring you an excellent project related to one of the words that are booming in relation to cryptocurrencies (The Metaverse), in that sense, I bring before you a Review about "The Sandbox ", a game hosted on the Ethereum network which caught my attention for a long time, it should be noted that this game is not new, since it had its beginnings in 2012 and has had an impressive development until today, but What is Sandbox?, this in an NFT game and in turn a content creation platform thing that is very interesting, it has ties in a way with Voxies another project about which I wrote recently and that is new, also based on the Ethereum Blockchain. Now, the goal of this project is to appeal to a particular audience, which is gamers and designers. Why?, the answer is simple, due to the environment and design engines that have been implemented in this "Metaverse", where people who love graphic design will create "Worlds" which are NFT assets and within them can create assets that are also NFTs, in order to attract the attention of players to their universes, I should clarify that these assets that can be created are related to the games, therefore they will receive rewards for this participation as well as the players who decide to enter the world. A bit complicated, but really very simple once you experience everything that is the project itself.
In addition, these rewards are diversified between players, holders of "SAND" assets which is the internal token of the game, and the system itself which helps to boost the internal economy of the game. With designs similar to games like Minecraft, Roblox etc, Sandbox promises full ownership by its users in every asset that is developed within the platform. Something that sounds really cool and has gained incredible popularity since the project was launched.
Opinion
The truth is that a few years ago I became interested in graphic design and got some basic knowledge about what this profession is, therefore, I can cover and understand the subject well both as an investor, player and of course see the part of the "Designer". Now, going to the important point of this section, the project called my attention in several ways, which I will detail below:
The ownership of your designs: The first is the freedom of design that you have on the platform, as a content creator this is something that excites me on a personal level, since having the total ownership of our work is paramount for anyone, of course, something very important to me.
As a player play2earn: As a player, I am attracted to know that there are practically endless worlds to explore and have fun in them, having a huge variety as far as these are concerned, the idea of exploring these worlds is something that would fill any fan of this type of games with excitement. Honestly, this is the future and there is no going back to a "Metaverse", where you can interact, different worlds to explore, something exciting, and something I don't want to miss.
As an Investor and Trader: As an investor, as a long term project I see it great since it is not something that can be "destroyed" quickly because it has a very solid foundation, accompanied by investors and very important connections (an aspect that I will mention later), plus the same game environment makes it extremely difficult to overexploit for players, in my opinion, is very well thought out and I love the idea of creating my worlds and visit the worlds of others.
Platform
It is time to go directly into the functionality of the platform, although my opinion about the game is already clear, it is necessary to know how the environment works within the project, which is separated into 3 sections where we have the following tools.
VoxEdit: With this we can design and materialize in NFT assets what we can imagine and according to the theme that we want to address, since this platform does not force us to maintain a type of "exact theme", we are totally independent to use VoxEdit at our whim.
Marketplace: Now that we are clear about VoxEdit, the marketplace is our next step, since having our NFT assets, within this environment, we will be able to trade, buy and sell those assets and even give them away.
Gaming: For those who just want to play and have no interest in developing NFT assets for the market, they can dedicate themselves to playing in the great infinity of the world to obtain resources.
Lands
In order to understand in depth the " Game Mode " and I emphasize it in quotation marks since there are many depending on the world you are in, we have the "Lands ", which are NFT assets owned by users in Sandbox, where you can do infinite things, for example; you can decorate it, design it and create games within it for players to go to them to enjoy the fun they have prepared for them. A space that does not have many limits and that imagination comes into play.
Now, the "Benefits" that these bring are directly for the owner, the players, and a certain percentage for the project, I must also emphasize that the "Lands" have the quality that can be rented to their owners to be worked or even the same owner can invite other people to work on it. Something great, you create access to work in the metaverse, for users who do not have resources and want to grow in your lands.

SAND
This is the token of the game, which has a very important value, as it is used for virtually everything within its ecosystem, the distribution of this token in the game is very well raised and the way it is patterned I also liked a lot, highlighting that this makes the economy is sustainable. Based on this, some key points and uses of SAND are as follows:
Utility: This aspect is really good, due to the fact that for practically every aspect of the game a certain amount in SAND tokens is required to make transactions, create assets, upload them to the market and sell them, the same applies for land acquisition and in turn buying gems to define aspects such as "rarity."
Staking: Using your SAND you can also staking on the platform, which is one of the ways to obtain gems in the game, and catalysts that are very important for the ecosystem in general.
Fees: This also caught my attention, because the transaction fees go directly into the game economy, for example, one of the things to take into account is that 5% goes directly to the staking pool as a reward for token holders in a section called "Foundation".
Economy
Having a diverse economy at their disposal the creators of "The Sandbox" maintain a relatively stable economy within their metaverse, distributing the token and maintaining its value among the players, investors in order to have regular control among them, therefore, I proceed to highlight some of these features and talk about the internal economy of the game.
