A few months, or possibly years, ago, I started playing a video game called Octopath Traveler, the second installment of which is now available. But I never managed to finish the story of the first installment. In fact, I can't even remember where I left off. I'd changed computers, and all my previous saves were deleted. So, since I'm not entirely sure if I've shared this chapter before, I'll tell you some anecdotes about things I've discovered that I'm pretty sure I've never mentioned before.

Hace algunos meses o posiblemente años, había comenzado a jugar un videojuego llamado Octopath Traveler, donde ya su segunda entrega se encuentra disponible, pero nunca pude terminar la historia de la primera entrega, de hecho, ya ni recuerdo en donde lo había dejado, había cambiado de ordenador y todas mis anteriores partidas se eliminaron, así que, como no estoy muy seguro si este capítulo ya lo había compartido antes, les mencionaré algunas anécdotas de cosas que he descubierto que estoy muy seguro de que nunca lo había mencionado antes.
One of the things that really caught my attention about this video game was its amazing 3D pixel art graphics. I remember having a lot of fun in the first chapters with the story style, the combats, and the lore of each of the characters, the hidden chests, and the limited HUD this game has. Sometimes the HUD gets in the way in some games and prevents you from fully appreciating what the game has to offer, even during combat.
At that moment, I was in the desert, where I could even notice the small particles of sand in the desert. Once I finished the first chapter for one of the characters, I was looking for the second member of the team, this time a woman. I headed to the second village, where a character is located. This time, I had headed to the city of Nocturnia.

Una de las cosas que me llamaron mucho la atención de este videojuego, han sido por sus estupendos gráficos en estilo pixel art 3D, recuerdo que en los primeros capítulos me divertía mucho con el estilo de la historia, combates y el Lore que tiene cada uno de los personajes, los cofres escondidos y el poco HUD que tiene este videojuego, ya que en ocasiones el HUD estorba en algunos videojuegos y hace que no puedas apreciar muy bien lo que el juego tiene que ofrecerte, incluso en los combates.
En ese momento me encontraba en el desierto, donde incluso podía notar las pequeñas partículas de arena que hay en este desierto, una vez de finalizar el primer capítulo de uno de los personajes, me encontraba buscando al segundo miembro del equipo, que esta vez se trataba de una mujer, donde me dirigí al segundo poblado, lugar donde se encuentra un personaje, esta vez me había dirigido a la ciudad de Nocturnia.
When I entered the city, I was amazed by the number of objects placed as decoration to reflect a particular culture, or to show that a vendor is in the city. The plates and vases made the scenery look absolutely stunning, something I hadn't seen in previous video games of this genre I'd played. The fighting style took me back in time, to the era where I first encountered Final Fantasy, which was on the Game Boy Advance console.
So I marched to where the next character was. During my time playing the game, I never realized that all the stories were part of one story, as each character has their own story. I still have to play the game to see how the story ends.

Cuando entre en la ciudad, me sorprendí mucho con la cantidad de objetos que colocaron como decoración para poder reflejar alguna cultura o bien sea objetos que están para poder demostrar que se encuentra un vendedor en esta ciudad, los platos, los jarrones hacían que el escenario se viera totalmente asombroso, algo que no había visto en los anteriores videojuegos que he jugado de este género, el estilo de lucha me hizo viajar al pasado, en la era donde conocí Final Fantasy, el cual fue en la consola Game Boy Advance.
Así que di marcha hasta donde se encontraba el siguiente personaje, aunque en el tiempo que lo jugaba nunca conocí que todas las historias eran parte de una sola, ya que todos los personajes tienen su propia historia, aunque aún tengo que jugar para poder ver en como termina la historia.
That's when I met Primrose, a dancer with a dark past. If you analyze this character's story a little, it's a bit depressed and pathetic. We learn that she was sold as a child to a billionaire who prostitutes women. Her boss (the man who bought her) has captured the only person who comforted her, her best friend. Primrose began chasing her boss to stop his evil plans. That's where she joins our group, to go to the Nocturnia catacombs to rescue her friend.
Once in the catacombs, seeing how a character from this style of game, in terms of graphic design, holds a lantern to light the way, was amazing those moments when I would dive into every catacomb I saw to find some treasure or to continue the story of this video game.

Fue entonces cuando conocí a Primrose, una bailarina con un pasado sombrío, donde si analizas un poco la historia de este personaje, es un poco depresivo y lamentable, ya que conocemos que desde pequeña fue vendida a un multimillonario al que se encarga de prostituir a las mujeres desde niña, su jefe (el hombre que la compro), ha capturado a la única persona que la consolaba, a su mejor amiga, así que Primrose comenzó a perseguir a su jefe para poder detener sus malvados planes, así que ahí es donde se une a nuestro grupo, para ir a las catacumbas de nocturnia, para poder rescatar a su amiga.
Una vez en las catacumbas, ver como un personaje de este estilo de juegos en cuando a diseño gráfico se refiere, tu personaje sostiene un farol para poder iluminar el camino, fue asombroso esos momentos cuando me metía en toda catacumba que veía para poder encontrar algún tesoro o bien para continuar la historia de este videojuego.
Another thing I really liked about this game is the enemy design. Every time you enter a new area, you encounter a new type of enemy, and it's still that way for now, especially since many of them have their own weaknesses. Every time you face a new enemy, you have to attack it with all the weapons and magic you have to break its defenses and stun it so you can defeat it.
In fact, there are some enemies that have three levels where their appearance changes completely, which makes the game much more engaging.

Otra de las cosas que me ha gustado mucho de este videojuego, es el diseño de los enemigos, siempre que entras en una nueva zona, encuentras un nuevo tipo de enemigo, y hasta los momentos sigue así, sobre todo porque muchos de ellos tienen sus propias debilidades, donde siempre que te enfrentes a un nuevo enemigo, tienes que atacarlo con todos los tipos de armas y magias que tengas, para poder romper sus defensas y así aturdirlos para poderlos derrotar.
De hecho, hay algunos enemigos que tienen 3 niveles donde su apariencia cambia totalmente, eso hace que el juego sea mucho más atractivo.
One of the things I love most about this video game is the boss designs. They're huge and have a very unique appearance. I arrived at the location of the kidnapped friend, and her boss was holding her, but unfortunately, he killed her, provoking Primrose's wrath, thus unleashing the fight against this boss.
Just look at the appearance of this enemy boss; it's amazing, and its guards are amazing. So, I dare say the combat effects in this video game are quite amazing, the best I've seen so far, not to mention Sea of the Stars.

Una de las cosas que más me encantan de este videojuego, es ver el diseño de los jefes, son muy enormes con una apariencia muy única, llegue a donde se encontraba la amiga secuestrada, y su jefe la tenia por la mano, pero lamentablemente este la asesina provocando la ira de Primrose, desatando así el combate contra este jefe.
Tan solo miren la apariencia de este jefe enemigo, es asombroso, y sus guardias son geniales, así que me atrevo a decir que los efectos de combate que tiene este videojuego son muy asombrosos, los mejores que he visto hasta los momentos, sin mencionar a Sea Of The Stars.
