I thought about the possibility a few times in the past since I already had noticed that a lot of veteran players were leaving due to the dwindling interest in the game and guess what, it finally happened. Our previous server Sand Aquarius have merged with other 2 servers forming the new Pyro Pictor server.
Although there's an explosive increase in our Kingdom's combined character power our previous ranking was far from what it used to be. It's not really surprising since the player population just exploded to more or less three times of the original. We used to rank near the top 5 in the old server but now we barely make it to the top 10.
I'd been busy for a while so I also expected my personal ranking would go down but it I'm quite surprised that it would be by this much. I was within the top 1% previously but now I'm down to top 15% which was huge. There are lots of strong player and our previous server's ace was overshadowed by a new one by a CP difference of more almost 3 million character power. I guess that's the kind of problem I would want.
I must say that the Duel Yard rankings is more realistic and within my expectations. I usually rank within the top 300-400 in Sand Aquarius, now it's around 900-1200. But compared to my previous experience it's harder to get a decent opponent since most of the ones to choose from have CP's close to 3,000,000. I'm only at 2,400,000 so it would be already lucky to be match up with someone with around 2.7 or 2.8 M in CP. Out of the three matches for today I've only won 1. I lost earlier against a rogue with a 2.6 M CP and to a berserker with a 2.9 CP.
I'm not sure if this update came with the server merge or even earlier since I was not that active for a couple of weeks. The option to choose how many tickets to spend on the World Boss is a great time saver. Players can have a maximum of 7 tickets all at once. A ticket is given each day so even if a player does not participate in a World Boss raid as long as they have slots for a ticket they can do it on a later date. There are 2 World Boss right now.
Ardor is a fire attribute WB while Acteon is an earth attribute one. Acteon raid in general has a higher difficulty but I don't do it as much as Ardor's because I like the fire necklace drop over the earth ring. I already decided to go with a darkness attribute ring so it would be unwise if I still farm for the super rare earthen ones in the Acteon Dungeon.
Since I never had time my field boss pass has almost no progress. There are less than two days remaining I'm still on my 20th out of the 50 pass levels to be completed. It's such a waste that they have to make it uber money grubber deal from the premium pass as players need to pay around $20.
I think that's also the reason why got lazy playing the game. They usually set it to 3000 diamonds so the previous season I did my best to save that amount. To my surprise the fee was changed to real world cash which is very disappointing. The chances of getting super rare light element earrings is huge this season. And I really need those earrings since it's one of the key accessories I've decided with my build but with the current price tag I'll just have to pass.
