We are in the last race of the Mushroom Cup, this time it is my turn to tackle my journey in the Kalimari Desert circuit, a map with quite smooth curves but with some small difficulties on the way.
I am very clear that the Mushroom Cup has the most "simple" circuits of the game, but to tell the truth, when we set a purpose as it is my case, to establish a record time, it becomes difficult, because you have to detail all the way carefully to know how to take advantage of the asphalt, although in the case of this circuit it would be the competition arena.
Doing an analysis of the entire circuit, both the road and the whole scenario that presents us, I could see that this circuit is the longest of the Mushroom Cup, so obviously the time recorded would be the largest so far.
On the other hand, I observed a detail that years ago I had not paid much attention to, and that is that the train that is on the circuit, has on its front part the number 64, alluding to the Nintendo 64 console, a detail quite simple but curious to appreciate.
Also, as a curious fact I can tell you that the name of this circuit Kalimari Desert, is due to the Kalahari Desert which is located in the south of Africa, extending through the countries of South Africa, Namibia and Botswana, perhaps you did not know this fact until now, and I am pleased to be the one who will make it known to you, a name for the circuit which is quite creative and similar to that of the desert.
Starting the warm up laps to establish a strategy and a mark for this circuit, I could notice on the second lap a quite complicated inconvenience that would affect my final record, and that is that just on the second lap, and passing by the second pass of the train, it appears almost straight ahead and covering 90% of the pass, Even using the 3 turbos to try to get ahead of the train, I could not achieve it, I always arrived just when I covered most of the road, so I knew that passing before the train was an impossible task, so I set out to evaluate possibilities to pass after the train and lose as little time as possible.
With so much practice, there were more failed attempts than successful ones, when I didn't crash the train because I accelerated too fast or was too close to it, I crashed the fence that covered the path of the train track, it was something that frustrated me, but in the end I knew that the only way would be to pass behind the train and that surely the best lap would be the one that less slowed down in that part of the circuit, or that simply arrived at the right time to pass perfectly through the back, something difficult, even in some occasions I had very good times and ended up crashing, but with patience I was improving my times.
My first time without establishing any strategy, was 02'04''74, with the fastest lap of 00'41''18, I assumed that I could obviously improve that mark because it was the first one I was doing, although the final result was not far from the initial one, the problem was always to meet the train in the second lap and release the accelerator necessarily to make room for me at the back of the train crossing.
After several attempts, in which I always crashed with the train and had to restart the game, I was able to obtain a better time than the initial one, managing to register 02'03''21, with the fastest lap of 00'40''71, incredibly in this registered time I was able to notice that the second lap was not the slowest, as it was presented before because of the train that was crossing, which made me understand that if I had made better curves I would have obtained a much smaller time.
Finally, I managed to go down a little more the mark that I had already registered before, the truth is that I was a little frustrated of having the train's limitation, but even so I always remained firm waiting for a good mark that would leave me satisfied, so after so many attempts I was able to obtain a time of 02'03''90, with the fastest lap of 00'40''55, according to my experience, I knew that it was already impossible to go below 2 minutes, so I decided to conclude my adventure through this great desert circuit.
My final record could have been better, but the truth is that a lot of time was wasted restarting the game every time I did it wrong, although to tell the truth, I gave my best, and I think this will be an excellent mark under the African circuit of Mario Kart 64.

Nos encontramos en la última carrera de la Mushroom Cup, está vez es el turno de abordar mi travesia en el circuito de Kalimari Desert, un mapa con curvas bastante suaves pero con algunas pequeñas dificultades en el camino.
Estoy muy claro de que la Mushroom Cup posee los circuitos más "sencillos" del juego, pero a decir verdad, cuando nos fijamos un propósito como lo es mi caso, de establecer un tiempo record, se hace difícil, pues tienes que detallar todo el camino detenidamente para saber como aprovechar el asfalto, aunque en el caso de este circuito sería la arena de competencia.
Haciendo un análisis de todo el circuito, tanto de la carretera como de todo el escenario que nos presenta, pude observar que este circuito es el más largo de la Mushroom Cup, por lo que evidentemente el tiempo registrado sería el mayor de todos hasta el momento.
Por otro lado, observé un detalle que años atrás no le había prestado mucha atención, y es que el tren que se encuentra en el circuito, tiene en su parte delantera el número 64, haciendo alusión a la consola de nintendo 64, un detalle bastante sencillo pero curioso de apreciar.
También, como dato curioso puedo comentarles que el nombre de este circuito Kalimari Desert, se debe al desierto del Kalahari que se encuentra al sur de África, extendiéndose a través de los países Sudáfrica, Namibia y Botswana, quizás este dato no lo sabías hasta ahora, y me complace ser yo quien te lo haga conocer, un nombre para el circuito bastante creativo y similar al del desierto.
Iniciando las vueltas de calentamiento para establecer una estrategia y una marca para este circuito, pude notar en la segunda vuelta un inconveniente bastante complicado que afectaría mi record final, y es que justo en la segunda vuelta, y pasando por el segundo paso del tren, este aparece casi que de frente y cubriendo un 90% del paso, incluso usando los 3 turbos para tratar de adelantarme al tren, no lo pude conseguir, siempre llegaba justo cuando cubría gran parte de la carretera, por lo que sabía que pasar antes que el tren era una tarea imposible, por lo que me dispuse a evaluar posibilidades para pasar luego del tren y perder el menos tiempo posible.
Con tantas prácticas, eran más los intentos fallidos que los que conseguía con éxito, cuando no me estrellaba con el tren por acelerar de forma apresurada o estar muy cerca de él, me estrellaba con la cerca que cubría el camino de la vía del tren, era algo que me frustraba, pero al final supe que la única forma sería pasando atrás del tren y que seguro la mejor vuelta sería en la que menos desacelerara en esa parte del circuito, o en la que sencillamente llegase en el momento justo para pasar perfectamente por la parte de atrás, algo difícil, incluso en algunas ocasiones llevaba muy buenos tiempos y terminaba por estrellarme, pero con paciencia fui mejorando mis tiempos.
Mi primer tiempo sin establecer estrategia alguna, fue de 02'04''74, con la vuelta más rápida de 00'41''18, supuse que podría evidentemente mejorar esa marca porque era la primera que estaba haciendo, aunque el resultado final no estuvo muy lejos del inicial, el problema siempre fue encontrarme con el tren en la segunda vuelta y soltar el acelerador necesariamente para hacerme espacio por la parte de atrás del cruce del tren.
Luego de varios intentos, en los que siempre me estrellaba con el tren y debía reiniciar la partida, pude obtener un mejor tiempo que el inicial, logrando registrar 02'03''21, con la vuelta más rápida de 00'40''71, increíblemente en este tiempo registrado pude notar que la segunda vuelta no era la más lenta, como se venía presentado antes a causa del tren que se cruzaba, lo que me hizo entender en que si hubiese hecho mejores curvas hubiese obtenido un tiempo mucho menor.
Finalmente, logré bajar un poco más la marca que ya había registrado anteriormente, la verdad me sentía un poco frustrado de tener la limitante del tren, pero aún así siempre me mantuve firme esperando una buena marca que me dejase satisfecho, por lo que luego de tantos intentos pude obtener un tiempo de 02'03''90, con la vuelta más rápida de 00'40''55, según mi experiencia, sabía que ya era imposible bajar de los 2 minutos, por lo que decidí concluir con mi aventura por este grandioso circuito desierto.
Mi registro final pudo haber sido mejor, pero la verdad es que se perdía mucho tiempo reiniciando la partida cada vez que lo hacía mal, aunque a decir verdad, dí lo mejor de mi, y creo que esta será una excelente marca bajo el circuito Africano de Mario Kart 64.
