All Hat and No...Well...
I have cattle, so I guess I can qualify as a rancher. Just this last week, we introduced Ranches. There are only 5000 up for grabs. We are all about having fun over at Serfdom & Sorcery, so we decided it was time for all our farmers and farmer wannabes to have a chance to get a ranch. There is an option to buy up to 10 Ranches using LVL at 100,000 LVL each. Using DBLN, however, you have the ability to get as many ranches as you like until all 5000 have sold out. So why do you want one?
You may have noticed in S&S as we like to call it, it takes DBLN to upgrade and buy new stuff. A Ranch is one of those things in the game that helps spit out more DBLN each day so you can afford more upgrades, faster. Each Ranch that you get will distribute 1000 DBLN to your account on Discord! For those who haven't done the math, that means if you buy a Ranch with 100 000 DBLN, you'll essentially have it paid for in 100 days. Yeeeeehaw!!! Also, the intention is to turn Ranches into NFTs in the near future. We have some things to finagle to make that happen, but that's the expectation. So go on and get a rope, tie up some cattle and git ya uh Ranch! Over 100 have already sold before I even got to write this here write-up!
One more thing I failed to mention...You buy 40 of these here ranches and you can convert it to a Seedling Citadel as they become available. That will come with some perks and gizmos and all kinds of whatchyamacall-ums. If you've ever had a whoozawhatzit, you'll love our whatchyamacall-um! Now go on...git yer Ranches!

The Seedling Citadel will be a defensive structure, resource generator, and supply you a creature that will help you in attacking.
It will also have the ability to give users special quests that other users can get, and gain rewards from. (This feature will take time)

Templar Power
@solymi got to experience !protectionward for the first time on 7/26/2023, or at least he would have, had DraconianOverlord been a templar when he tested it out. A templar is able to put another player under protection for up to 10 hours. That time frame may change or adjust, but the point is a Templar can protect you. It may be worthwhile to find one and maybe give 'em sumth'n in return for their kindness.
!craftpotion defense or !craftpotion attack
Those pillagers...I knew they were up to no good when they started searching for !hexmaterial. Now, once they collect 200 and are over level 50, they can create a potion for attack or defense, depending on which they choose. It's not available yet, but at some point, they'll likely be selling these potions to you. Reference... Beware. They're not very trustworthy folks, using those hexmaterials and all...

Here's a point of reference for you. For those of you who participated in our NFT sale a couple weeks ago and became a SENTINEL, you got a very powerful beast on your side. His name? Balrog. Never heard of him? Look it up here: https://presearch.com/images?q=balrog
He (or she...I wouldn't want to be offensive) attacks a named player once per hour, taking away 200 HP and stealing a little bit of coin. The end result? Be nice to SENTINELS and you'll likely be free of scars. Even castle owners are not immune, though it is a fair fight to send a dragon to a balrog owner. Keep in mind that balrogs can attack more often than dragons, so it may not be a fair fight-you've been warned.

Liquidity Pool DBLN:LVL
Serfdom & Sorcery has been linked to LVL via the Liquidity Pool DBLN:LVL. That means you can purchase DBLN with LVL, or you can swap LVL for DBLN. In either case, you will be ready to play any of the games provided by the Psyber-X team. I personally swapped some LVL to !claimthrone in order to get my own castle in Serfdom & Sorcery. Perhaps you will earn some DBLN in the game and trade it for LVL in preparation for placing a wager in Psyber-Decks. You could also use the LVL:Swap.ETH Liquidity Pool to get some ETH or to start moving ETH to DBLN. Imagine that...DBLN for Ethereum. Makes me want to go !mine and !fish some more.

There used to be 2500 farms available for purchase in Serfdom & Sorcery. Each one has a daily payout of 500 DBLN which you can use to buy more potions, a pickaxe, or a myriad of other things. While the farms sold out, Ranches have just come out and they are also limited in quantity. Get one while they last! We will be turning all farms, ranches, and castles into non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the Hive blockchain so that all of you who missed out on the sale will be able to purchase one on the second hand market in the near future. Keep your eyes peeled. Don't have a castle, yet? Are you fit to wear the crown? Only 300 castles are available and only 5000 Ranches are available...

When you reach level 100, you earn the rank of King. You'll have to battle many ferocious monsters along the way. Will it be worth it? No doubt!
