Mission Info : Certain plants in the Universe exhibits a taste for blood, elevating them beyond their assigned position in the food chain. Nada and Polo are curios about these divergent, role-defying plants, and wish to study their survival instincts and capabilities.
That will be my mission for today. This mission will grant me 400 quicksilvers and 15 wiring looms. Although it is a repeated mission, the journey to reach the place is different from before. The uniqueness of the journey makes me enjoy doing it daily. I hope you enjoy the view that I captured during this mission.
I will be using my exotic starship today. The NMS Starship Catalogue refers to my starship as the Ball Cockpit: Guppy. My target is to own all the exotic ships that are available. I haven't fully upgraded Guppy yet, but that's my current goal.
After departing from Anomaly, I've made a jump to reach the targeted planet. The view from space just before entering the planet's atmosphere was simply stunning!
The planet is called Taygeter Major. SHNAROM discovered it four days ago. The starship screen detected an external temperature of 143.1 degrees Celsius. I can see a lot of giant, ring-like plants all over the planet.
The weather was extremely dangerous. Luckily, I have upgraded my exosuit so I can survive in this kind of weather without problem. Mist and fog from the extreme weather will cover my surroundings, posing a visual challenge.
I found the abandoned grave easily this time. I landed not far from the grave. Before this, I experienced having a hard time locating this grave on foot.
The fallen Traveler's log seems to mention the floral infestation, but holds no further clues. I need to scout to locate the hazardous floras.
The mist and fog thickness were just too much. It's hard to see what's in front of me. The scanner was the only thing that allowed me to determine my walking direction.
Q. Butterigulia was one of the hazardous flora. I need to eliminate 15 of this plants. When using laser, it was easy to eliminate it. The amount of Oxygens that this plant give was fine compare to the minerals.
While searching for dangerous plants, I enjoyed the ride with this creature. It's called J. Xenoiuvoe. It produces craw milk when harvested. It's fun to ride around with it, but I didn't registered it as my companion because my companion slot were full at the moment; to unlock a new slot requires more than 10k nanites which I don't want to spent on yet.
I leave the creature and continue my journey. The creature moves really slowly, so I am better when I am on foot. I came across this rainbow view, which was amazing.
I looked up at the sky and the view of a nearby planet. I had to take the shots and wanted to share them. It was so stunning.
Another type of hazardous plant is different from the earlier one. At this point, I have successfully eliminated 15 hazardous plants. But I don't want to return to the Space Anomaly just yet. I wish to discover all the species on this planet. At that moment, I had already found 7 out of 9. So, two more are left.
After walking for a while, I found adult S. Mustbemoe. It look so adorable but I cannot ride it since the size of this creature was too small. It produces bone nuggets if prise off extrusion.
To locate the final creature, I ventured deep into an underground cave. The view of the underground cave was really fascinating. I walked for a long time without finding anything, even with my scanner. I showed no undicovered creature around.
So I came back up to the surface and called my starship, but then I came across this beacon, and when I activated it, it showed me the location of a minor settlement. The minor settlement didn't really grab my attention at that moment, but the huge cave that usually spawned nearby caught my attention.
So, I went to the space to shorten the time that I needed to fly to reach the minor settlement. The view from up there was as stunning as always.
It only took me seconds to reach the minor settlement. There was nothing interesting inside the minor settlement. So I just skipped it to find the cave nearby.
The cave really spawned near the minor settlement, but unfortunately, I didn't find the last creature. For now, I call it a day; I am getting a bit bored finding this last creature. The last time I really put effort into looking for it on another planet, I actually ended up spending hours searching for it. So not today.
So as I dug diagonally up to the surface, I stumbled upon this manufacture building. Sentinel drones and robots typically guard this structure. This should be an enjoyable way to end the day! So I planned to attack!
I found this sentinel robot patrolling around the manufacturing building. I attacked it to trigger the alarm, then returned to my ship to engage in an air battle with the sentinel's interceptors.
Alert : Sentinel Starship Interceptors Deploying
At first, we engage in battle under the atmosphere of the planet. The first wave was destroyed pretty quick.
Then, I lure the sentinel away from the planet. I like to engage in space battles. I want to destroy everything that Sentinel has to offer.
After a while, more Sentinels Starship Interceptors were destroyed. At it's maximum level of alarm, Sentinel Capital Ship finally came. I was so excited!
The Freigther Shield Generators were the first target to be destroy. When the shield was down, the hull became vulnerable and I was easier to take the Sentinel Capital Ship down.
In my early hours of the game, taking down a Sentinel Capital Ship took me forever and lots of resources for me to keep charging my starship's shield. But now, with much more experience and upgrades to my starship, the battle has become so much easier.
This is my source of income, my source of million units. I can do this repeatedly and get this item without much of hard work. When I am bore and have plenty of time, this farming method was on of my favorite.
After I won the battle against the sentinels and get it's rare item, I return to the Space Anomaly and took my daily quicksilver rewards.
