It's been days since the presale for Rebellion packs has already been done and players who purchased at that time gained some discounts and promotions which is a big benefit for them to purchase at such a very early stage. Those who manage to get into the leaderboards will have some rewards with them as well which is very nice to have if you really played the game. A good way of giving something to the game itself while receiving some rewards which also count as a compliment towards the game creator itself. The artistic output behind those card creations is really amazing as I see that the illustrations of every monster in rebellion packs are really defined to which those monsters are meant to be. Also, the skills and abilities that are being attached to those monsters are clearly a match in which it was really been into a brain storming for them to utilize such incredible output.
Rebellion Cards Out
Another thing is that those who have purchased during the presale have the ability to open up their card packs in which very nice and juicy cards are waiting for them to be revealed. As we can see cards under the Rebellion expansion pack did not disappoint us because it has great value in the secondary markets especially those that are in gold form. Even the regular legendary cards are really nice to have since their values did have a big impact on the market which can compete with those that are already way ahead of them. Anyway, we just need to hold these cards and get some airdrops from it which are already being informed within the community and official post from Splinterlands as well.
With the effect on that part, the current Untamed packs which are in the modern format will now be out of the line as the Rebellion sets will be replacing them. I guess that is a big check as I can see since those who have purchased most of the packs should have been given the opportunity to build up their cards as well while receiving some rewards in return for them to purchase a big volume of cards. Now the Rebellion and Chaos Legion are now possible in the Modern format which is very challenging to many players are they are really well versed on the strategy for some Untamed cards. And that without using that expansion it would be a hard in difficult level for their strategy to be perfect.
Anyway, players should always be adaptable to changes no matter how difficult for them. But every difficulty has some healing, it is just that it takes time to adjust yourself to what is currently new. I think sometimes we just need to make new changes to the game to make it more appealing to newcomers as well as old players who will take them seriously as challenged.
General Sale for Rebellion has begun
Now that the presale has already been over and the general sale has been that purchasing rebellion cards is again available for direct into the market if not you could do the secondary market if you think that it is more worth there. Anyway, it's up to the player to use the best benefits they can get and the possible promotions ahead to those purchases directly from in-game developers. I think it would be better to purchase in the market so that amount of cards purchased is being counted and that there would be something you could get as a player reward from purchasing so.
There are still 9 million packs remaining and I think that would be fair enough for players to continue purchasing some card sets so that they could get those juicy legendary and if they have much luck a golden card would be possible also. Still, discounts are still possible in this sale and any category of purchases is quite available. They could have Arena Kit which you can purchase 100 packs directly and then Mage Cache for 500 packs while the Power Trove has 2,000 packs. The more packs you purchase the more discounts you could get. The Rebellion is the fifth core edition which introduces several mechanics into the game and that a lot of unique and exciting ways to play the game which gives more thrill to players old and new alike.
There are no dull moments for the rebellion as every card has its own specific value in both in-game and market. And whenever you open the rebellion pack you will get at least one rare which is guaranteed plus a chance to get legendary cards. I think we should not wait for a longer period of time and think about many things that slow down your ability to purchase some rebellion packs. A benefit to taking ahead in the modern category since you will be able to use the full might of the rebellion cards there and they are a bit perfect combo for Chaos Legion card sets as well.
Top 6 Purchaser
We have seen that the top 6 purchasers did achieve the most rewarding part as a player in which they get limited edition titles as well as given the opportunities to design Legendary Cards which is really amazing. I see a big gap in card purchases between the first one and the second one in which the first one is a group purchase whereas the second one I think mostly it is purchased by only a person or some of their friends joining him. Anyway either of these top 6, a great recognition is much appreciated I think that most of these legendary cards to be made are based on their characteristic as player, collector, or even their names. Anyway, it depends on what would be the agreement between the player, the community, and the game developer of this great game.
I am not sure if they try to open those packs and hold them for quite a while for some juicy airdrops or if they will just sell some of those cards in the secondary market and get something in return for purchasing such bulk. There have been enormous benefits as I can see it if you belong to any ranking inside the leaderboard and not just the top 6 since you have the ability to stay strong in-game if you choose to upgrade those cards that you are holding rather than having them sold in the market. It's up to the players to which they will choose what to do to those cards and packs of rebellion sets.
Burning Mechanism
With the rebellion set is now live and running in-game, we all sure that those benefits that are hanging around will now be felt by players as well as collectors. Another thing is that they introduced a burning mechanism that makes the price of those booster packs at its optimum value which is very good to those who are holding. Whenever in a day, if packs didn't reach 25K rebellion packs being sold then the remaining of that unsold 25K packs will be burned and removed from the pool.
There will be around 90% will be burned and 10% will be sent to DAO for the use of some promotions in the future or there might be chances that SPS holders might get some of it too, but who knows we are still so much to know what would be the possible changes inside the team's mind as well as their promotions in the future.
REACTION
The beauty of the promotions and the changes being made inside the game really change big in terms of the future of the game. The players and collectors seem to get a good interest in what the rebellion packs do to those who acknowledge them buy purchasing packs whether it would be in bulk or individual. There is so much the rebellion could give to the community aside from airdrops since the introduction of the burning system is a big plus for me in my perspective.
