A Review Of Crypto Shots - First Game Of It Kind.

Today, I'll be doing something totally different from the usual. Something I've never done on my wall today. That's right, I'll be reviewing a game I just recently discovered thanks to the contest organized by OCD. I'll be reviewing this really cool game called Crypto-shots, a play to earn FPS game. There are two levels. The first is free to play and the second is play to earn. For the free to play level, no log in is required and is easily accessible, but for the play to earn level, you'd need to already have an account with them, and to earn, you'd need to buy a starter pack first, and a starter pack cost nothing less than 14 SWAP.HIVE.

My Personal Experience With The Gameplay

To play the game, go to https://play.crypto-shots.com/. On the landing page, you'll see two options: Free to Play and Play to Earn. If you choose Free to Play, you can play the game immediately without having to log in, but if you choose Play to Earn, you'll need to do so using your WAX account or your Hive account.

In order to share my gameplay experience, I'll be exploring the Free to Play option.

I clicked on "Play 3D Game" after selecting the "Free to Play" option, and more options, representing the game's three levels of difficulty, Easy, Medium, and Hard, were then displayed. I select Easy as I'm a beginner (starter).

You have three (3) minutes and fifty (50) shots (bullets), so you need to finish the task quickly while simultaneously taking precautions to avoid being shot. I don't particularly enjoy shooting games, but I have played a few on my brother's PlayStation 4.

You can easily check out the controls on the keyboard and gamepad, pause the game, and quit the game by pressing the letter P on the keyboard, which is the shortcut for pausing.

For the Play to Earn, you can login with WAX, HIVE or ETH.

In summary, Crypto shot is a 3D first-person shooter browser game connected to the Hive blockchain, Crypto- Shots features collectible NFTs as your in-game currency for items like weapons, ammo, characters, and shields. Dot Omega (DOOM), a Crypto Shots token, can also be acquired by players by eliminating drones on several planets. Players will also soon be able to challenge friends in arenas while flying their own spacecraft.

Upsides:

The most important factor of good games is playability; to be classified as good, it must be playable and crypto shot did justice to that, if you ask me.

Crypto shot is easy to navigate for new users.
Cathy graphics and user interface. The user experience too, is splendid.
As a UI/UX designer, I'd say the interface is quite game like -cathy. The interface is expertly designed enough to attract and absorb both new and old players.

I'm not really a gamer, but this picked my interest, so I decided to play and share my experience.
