Today I put on my camouflage suit, brewed some good coffee, cleaned my rifle and shotgun to go hunting in The Hunter Call of the Wild. I recently had a 22 hour continuous marathon of gameplay and made quite a bit of progress, got to level 14, was able to get some gold trophies, upgraded my weapons and ammo, upgraded some skills, created new standby posts and other things. Hoy me he colocado mi traje camuflado, he preparado un buen café, he limpiado mi rifle y escopeta para ir de caza en The Hunter Call of the Wild. Recientemente tuve un maratón de 22 horas continuas de juego y avancé bastante, llegué a nivel 14, pude obtener algunos trofeos de oro, actualicé mis armas y municiones, mejores algunas habilidades, cree nuevos puestos de espera y otras cosas. To be honest, I find it incredible that smaller animals are so difficult to hunt, like rabbits for example, I have only been able to hunt a couple of them since I've been playing. Ducks are another one, they can see me from far away and they have good hearing, but I need to get very close to be able to hit them with my shotgun shot, sometimes I hear them but I can't see them because they are not in the water but they are on the high grass, it is very complicated to hunt them. The turkeys, also, although they are a little bigger, are very alert and the need to get close to them makes things very complicated for me, besides they camouflage very well with the environment and most of the time I can't get a good view to shoot them.
The most difficult of all and so far I have only hunted one, the coyote, these animals are very fast, they detect me more than 100 meters away, they mimic the environment, it is a challenge to hunt one of these, I think the best way to hunt them is to wait for them in a feeding or drinking place, because walking is quite complicated.
I started today at the Balmont stand on my way to Cheelah to explore this unknown area for me. After a few meters of road, I got tracks of a Wapiti of about 340Kg approximately according to my analysis, I decided to follow them, after a while I could see it from far away running away so I followed the tracks but with more care. After a few minutes I heard the warning call of a bear, I used my binoculars and indeed, it was very quiet in a resting place, so I did not hesitate to take advantage of that situation.

Siendo honesto, me parece increíble que los animales más pequeños sean tan difíciles de cazar, como los conejos por ejemplo, solo he podido cazar un par de ellos desde que estoy jugando. Los patos son otros, me pueden ver desde muy lejos y tienen buen oído, pero necesito acercarme mucho para poder darles con mi tiro de escopeta, a veces los escucho pero no logro verlos porque no están en el agua sino que están sobre la hierba alta, es muy complicado poder cazarlos. Los pavos, también, aunque son un poco más grandes, son muy alertas y la necesidad de acercarme a ellos me complica mucho las cosas, además se camuflan muy bien con el ambiente y la mayoría de veces no logro tener una buena visión para dispararles.
El más difícil de todos y que hasta ahora solo he cazado uno, el coyote, estos animales son muy rápidos, me detectan a más de 100 metros de distancia, se mimetizan con el medio ambiente, es todo un reto poder cazar uno de estos, creo que la mejor manera de cazarlos es esperarlos en un puesto de comedero o bebedero, porque andando es bastante complicado.
Inicié hoy en el puesto de Balmont con rumbo a Cheelah para explorar esa zona desconocida para mí. Luego de unos cuantos metros de camino, conseguí huellas de un Wapiti de unos 340Kg aproximadamente según mis análisis, decidí seguirlas, al rato lo pude ver de lejos huyendo entonces seguí las huellas pero con más cuidado. Luego de unos minutos escuché el llamado de advertencia de un oso, usé mis binoculares y efectivamente, estaba muy tranquilo en un lugar de reposo, así que no dudé en aprovechar esa situación.

The bear made a loud whimper and after a muscle spasm ran away. I approached the place and I could tell by the amount of blood on the ground that I hit a vital organ, so I set out to follow the trail and only 20 meters away was the body.

Me acerqué tanto como pude, y escuché otra llamada de advertencia pero esta vez de un coyote, lo ignoré. Apunté a la parte baja del cuello y con firmeza disparé. El oso hizo un fuerte quejido y luego de un espasmo muscular se fue corriendo. Me acerqué al lugar y pude notar por la cantidad de sangre en el suelo que le di en un órgano vital, así que me dispuse a seguir el rastro y a solo 20 metros estaba el cuerpo.
With this kill I was able to obtain a silver trophy, with a score of 18.06, I did not keep it in my collection because I have another silver trophy with a higher score. This bear turned out to be a male of almost 165kg. The shot shattered his spine and a lung, not bad.

Con esta presa pude obtener trofeo de plata, con una puntuación de 18.06, no lo guardé en mi colección porque tengo otro de plata con mayor puntaje. Este oso resultó ser un macho de casi 165Kg. El tiro le destrozó la columna y un pulmón, nada mal.

Sigamos a ver si conseguimos alguna otra presa mientras llegamos a nuestro destino. Cheelah es un lugar del cual me han hablado, tengo una misión allí que consiste en matar un par de coyotes, cosa que veo muy complicado, pero necesito ubicar el refugio para poder ir en viaje rápido.
Después de caminar por varias horas, pude escuchar el llamado de un Wapiti, estuve caminando lentamente por varios minutos, casi arrastrado al suelo, no lograba verlo hasta que al fin pude ver su figura, de frente a mi con el pecho descubierto. Apunté a su corazón, aguanté la respiración y disparé.

Hunting wapiti is very difficult, they are very cunning with good sense of smell, eyesight and they move very fast. I got a silver trophy, I didn't keep the carcass in my record either because I have another one with a higher score.
I continued exploring the area and found a place where these wapiti rest, from some distance I could see several very relaxed under the full moon. I was trying to locate a male with horns but apparently they were all females, or maybe the males were very young and did not have horns, I don't know. The thing is, I need money and any prey adds up so I can increase my capital.

No le di al corazón, pude darle al pulmón y eso le permitió correr varios metros. Este wapiti era un macho y pesaba unos 352 Kg, ya tenía su cornamenta. Cazar wapitis es muy difícil, ellos son muy astutos con buen olfato, vista y se mueven muy rápido. Obtuve un trofeo de plata, tampoco guardé el cuerpo en mi registro porque tengo otro de mayor puntaje.
Seguí explorando la zona y encontré un lugar donde reposan estos wapitis, desde cierta distancia pude ver a varios muy relajados bajo la luna llena. Estuve tratando de ubicar un macho con cuernos pero al parecer todas eran hembras, o tal vez los machos era muy jóvenes y no tenían cuernos, no lo sé. La cosa es que necesito dinero y cualquier presa suma para poder aumentar mi capital.

I continued on my way for a couple of hours more and I was able to get other prey, among them black-tailed deer, they were in a herd and I followed their trail to eliminate them one by one. As I said before, I need money and level to upgrade my weapons, for now I am not focused on trophies but on money production, I will focus on trophies later.

Seguí mi camino por un par de horas más y pude conseguir otras presas, entre ellas ciervos de cola negra, estaban en manada y les seguí el rastro para ir eliminando uno a uno. Como dije antes, necesito dinero y nivel para mejorar mis armas, por ahora no estoy concentrado en trofeos sino en producción de dinero, ya luego me concentraré en los trofeos.
In the end I was able to find the shelter and I explored the Cheelah area quite well, the only thing left to do is to complete the mission to kill the coyotes to receive the reward. Al final si pude encontrar el refugio y explore bastante bien la zona de Cheelah, solo queda cumplir la misión de acabar con los coyotes para recibir la recompensa. Hoy fue una buena caza, estoy contento con los resultados, no me tardé mucho en lograr tantas bajas y esto gracias a ustedes por acompañarme.
