It will be a year soon when I met The Survivalists and I liked it a lot, I was hooked because I wanted to know what other things I could find in the different islands, and also to see how many recipes I could reach to make. After a while I stopped playing it because I got hooked on other games, I forgot about it completely, but I've been thinking that there are several games I would like to finish to turn the page and move on (a bit of drama), and looking at my Steam library I remembered this title. So I want to share with you my adventure with these monkeys to finish the game completely.
I'm supposed to complete the repair of the Galleon that is stranded at sea and escape from this place, I've already made some progress and today's mission is to get some nails, sticks and sails, pretty simple. Along the way I would like to complete some achievements, I currently have 86% completed so I am not far from completing 100%, unless some achievements are too hard to get. The idea is to complete the game and, if possible, complete the achievements as well. Why do you say that? because of the satisfaction we feel as gamers of completing a game to 100%.
Dentro de poco se cumple un año cuando conocí The Survivalists y me gustó bastante, estaba enganchado por querer saber que otras cosas podía encontrar en las diferentes islas, y también poder ver cuantas recetas podía alcanzar a realizar. Luego de un tiempo dejé de jugarlo porque me vicié con otros juegos, lo olvidé por completo, pero he estado pensando que hay varios juegos que me gustaría terminar para pasar página y seguir adelante (un poco de drama), y viendo mi biblioteca de Steam recordé este titulo. Así que les quiero compartir mi aventura con estos monos hasta acabar el juego por completo.
Se supone que al completar de reparar el Galeón que esta varado en el mar podría escapar de este lugar, ya he adelantado algo y la misión de hoy es conseguir algunos clavos, palos y velas, bastante sencillo. En el camino me gustaría completar algunos logros, actualmente tengo el 86% completado así que no estoy lejos de completar el 100%, a menos que algunos logros sean muy difíciles de conseguir. La idea es completar el juego y, de ser posible, completar los logros también ¿Qué por qué me dices? por la satisfacción que sentimos como gamers de completar un juego al 100%.
Luckily I already had all the necessary materials in my base so I just gave the order to my monkeys to create everything, I waited a couple of minutes and I set out to go to the Galleon to repair what was requested. I noticed that it was taking me a long time to repair the ship so I taught one of my monkeys to do it thinking that he would do it faster, but the monkey that I gave him that task did not have a good crafting level, so it took me a long time to repair that part of the ship.
Por suerte todos los materiales necesarios ya los tenía en mi base así que solo le di la orden a mis monos que crearan todo, esperé un par de minutos y me dispuse a ir al Galeón a reparar lo solicitado. Noté que me estaba tardando mucho en reparar el barco así que enseñé a uno de mis monos a hacerlo pensando que lo haría más rápido, pero justo el mono que le di esa tarea no tenía buen nivel de crafting, así que tarde bastante en reparar esa parte del barco.
After a while of much hammering I set out on the next mission with the same materials but in greater number, that is to say 5 nails, 8 sticks and 4 candles. In this case I will have to work a little more, since I don't have enough metal to make nails, well, I will have to put a chest to one of my monkeys and set course to the iron island.
Luego de un rato de mucho martillar me dispuse a la siguiente misión con los mismos materiales pero en mayor número, es decir 5 clavos, 8 palos y 4 velas. En este caso si tendré que trabajar un poco más, ya que no cuento con el metal suficiente para hacer clavos, bueno, tendré que colocar un cofre a uno de mis monos y poner rumbo a la isla del hierro.
No recordaba donde quedaba la isla que contenía hierro y estuve deambulando por la isla de lava donde hay minerales rojos que sirven para craftear amuletos, en ese lugar estuve matando unas aves similares a un avestruz y recogiendo un poco de todo. Luego tomé mi balsa y me fui a otra isla donde si se encontraba el hierro. Tomé lo suficiente, 198 minerales de hierro, y también tomé otras cosas como cueros de lobo, carnes, guijarros, maderas. Ahora solo queda ponerme manos a la obra en hacer los clavos, palos y velas parra continuar con la reparación.
Hay un logro que consiste en desbloquear todas las recetas del juego, voy a intentar desbloquear una antes de ir a reparar el barco, creo que tengo los materiales necesarios. Debo decir que las recetas de la mesa para crear talismanes son un poco más difíciles que las demás.
Very well, again I have to go in search of more nails, sticks and sails, to be exact the same as the previous trip, 8 sticks, 5 nails and 4 sails. It seems simple but coming to the ship to repair one of its parts requires a trip of several days in the game, because you have to get the materials, then craft them and then travel to the galleon.
Muy bien, nuevamente tengo que ir en busca de más clavos, palos y velas, para ser exactos igual que el viaje anterior, 8 palos, 5 clavos y 4 velas. Parece sencillo pero venir al barco a reparar una de sus partes amerita un viaje de varios días en el juego, porque hay que conseguir los materiales, luego craftearlos y luego viajar al galeón.

100% food processor. By the way I find it funny how this machine transforms things into any other food, it's crazy but it's functional, you put 9 berries and it gives you a mango, who am I to judge the logic of The Survivalists.

The forge at 100%, but, it bothers me a lot that even though I have already created two gold statues the game does not take them for the achievement called “Opulence” which consists of erecting a gold statue.
La forja al 100%, pero, me molesta mucho que a pesar de que ya he creado dos estatuas de oro el juego no me las tome para el logro llamado "Opulencia" que consiste en erigir una estatua de oro.
The taming bench is focused on animal breeding, I have not explored this part of the game much, however I only have one recipe to unlock and we will be doing it in the next chapters.
El banco de doma esta centrado en la cría de animales, a esta parte del juego no la he explorado mucho, sin embargo solo me falta una receta por desbloquear y lo estaremos haciendo en los próximos capítulos.
