Today I came to the Layton Lake District reserve, in the game The Hunter Call of the Wild, I intend to complete the mission that Trampfine has given me, which is to photograph the big bear Mr. Black. Some time ago I tried to complete this mission but I could not, I spent many hours in the place and when I finally could photograph a bear it turned out that it was not Mr. Black. I must locate it in the Balmont Lake. Let's see if I have any luck today.
I will take a tent to place on the shore of the lake as a shelter and also a tripod to place in some strategic place, of course my dog Rasputin will accompany me in this adventure.

Hoy me vine a la reserva Layton Lake District, en el juego The Hunter Call of the Wild, tengo la intención de completar la misión que me ha dado Trampfine, la cual es fotografiar el gran oso Mr. Black. Hace un tiempo traté de completar esta misión pero no pude, estuve muchas horas en el lugar y cuando al fin pude fotografiar un oso pues resultó que no era Mr. Black. Debo ubicarlo en el lago Balmont. Veamos si tengo algo de suerte hoy.
Me llevaré una carpa para colocarla en la orilla del lago como refugio y también un trípode para colocar en algún lugar estratégico, por supuesto que mi perro Rasputín me acompañará en esta aventura.
I put on a big bag so I could carry these things, after setting up the tent and tripod, I went back to drop off the bag and grab the guns I would be using on this hunting trip. As I was near a lake I decided to equip myself with my Virant .22LR Express rifle to try to hunt some ducks and rabbits, I have knowledge of several areas where they rest and eat.
I started my journey at night, I spent a long time walking and waiting around the lake, but I only heard deer and coyote calls in the distance, no bears, no ducks and no rabbits. I was getting tired when in the distance I could see a bear drinking water, I approached very carefully but it was in a very difficult position to be able to shoot it, so I decided to go to an elevated stand that was nearby. As I was heading to the elevated stand, I could see the bear in the distance passing very close to the stand I was heading to, I took out my rifle to shoot it but the bear was trotting until it went behind a hill, it didn't give me time to try anything.
Further ahead I could see another bear, this one was Mr. Black, I know because the narrator told me so, he also told me to be very careful with him, even though I took some pictures of him, he didn't tell me about them for the mission because they were a bit blurry, it was at night and I wasn't that close to the bear, so you can barely see him. The bear left and I didn't want to shoot him to see if he would come back later, so I opened the map and noticed that very close I had two places where rabbits appear, it was already 3am so I set out to go to the site to see if I could catch some.

Me coloqué un gran bolso para poder llevar estas cosas, luego de colocar la carpa y el trípode, regresé para dejar el bolso y tomar las armas que estaría utilizando en esta jornada de caza. Como estaba cerca de un lago decidí equiparme con mi rifle Virant .22LR Express para intentar cazar algunos patos y conejos, tengo conocimiento de varias zonas donde descansan y comen.
Comencé mi jornada de noche, estuve mucho rato andando y esperando alrededor del lago, pero solo escuchaba a la distancia llamados de ciervos y coyotes, nada de osos, tampoco patos ni conejos. Ya me estaba cansando cuando a la distancia pude ver un oso tomando agua, me acerqué con mucho cuidado pero estaba en una posición muy difícil para poder dispararle, así que decidí ir a un puesto elevado que estaba cerca. Mientras me dirigía al puesto elevado de espera, pude ver a lo lejos al oso pasando muy cerca del puesto a donde me dirigía, saqué mi rifle para dispararle pero el oso iba trotando hasta adentrarse detrás de una colina, no me dio tiempo de intentar algo.
Más adelante pude ver otro oso, este si era Mr. Black, lo sé porque el narrador me lo dijo, también me dijo que tuviera mucho cuidado de él, a pesar de que le tomé algunas fotos, no me las contó para la misión porque estaban algo borrosas, era de noche y no estaba tan cerca del oso, así que apenas y se puede ver. El oso se fue y no le quise disparar a ver si regresaba al rato, así que abrí el mapa y noté que muy cerca tenía dos lugares donde aparecen conejos, ya eran las 3am así que me dispuse a ir al sitio a ver si lograba cazar algunos.
I placed myself under a tree with big branches, crouched down it was impossible that any animal could see me, besides I sprayed myself with the spray that disguises my smell, I was there for a long time, I think about 40 minutes in the game, until finally I could see about 60 meters away a rabbit, I used my binoculars to see if there were others but I didn't see any more, I adjusted my rifle, aimed and shot it, it died on the spot, immediately I heard a great commotion of other rabbits running away very close to the one I had killed, I hadn't seen them because of the amount of bushes in the surroundings.
After claiming the prey I heard warning noises about 90 meters away, more rabbits, so I went after them. When I got to the spot there were about four quiet rabbits, I was able to kill two of them but the other two were very quick and escaped. All the rabbits I killed gave me silver trophies.

Me coloqué debajo de un árbol con grandes ramas, agachado era imposible que algún animal me pudiera ver, además me rocié el spray que disimula mi olor, estuve allí por largo rato, creo que unos 40 minutos en el juego, hasta que por fin pude ver a unos 60 metros un conejo, usé mis prismáticos para ver si habían otros pero no vi ninguno más, acomodé mi rifle, le apunté y disparé, murió en el acto, inmediatamente escuché un gran revuelo de otros conejos huyendo muy cerca del que había matado, no los había visto por la cantidad de arbustos en los alrededores.
Luego de reclamar la presa escuché ruidos de advertencia a unos 90 metros, más conejos, así que fui por ellos. Al llegar al lugar habían unos cuatro conejos tranquilos, pude matar dos de ellos pero los otros dos fueron muy rápidos y escaparon. Todos los conejos que maté me dieron trofeos de plata.
Seeing the time, it was approaching 5am, I decided to go for some ducks, there was an area very close where ducks come to eat from 5am to 7am. Arriving at the place I hid in some bushes with a pretty clear view of the lake, a few minutes later several arrived, I aimed at one of them and killed him, the problem is that they all ran away when they saw that.

Al ver la hora, se acercaban las 5am, decidí ir por algunos patos, había una zona muy cerca donde los patos se llegan a comer de 5am a 7am. Al llegar al lugar me escondí en unos arbustos con una vista bastante clara del lago, a los pocos minutos llegaron varios, apunté a uno de ellos y lo maté, el problema es que todos huyeron al ver eso.
As you can see the trophy of this duck was silver, I claimed it and went back to hide in the same place, I was not sure if the ducks would return but I wanted to wait. Indeed a few minutes later they came back, so again I was able to kill one of them, I'm sure I hit another one because I saw how the blood came out of it, but it kept flying as if nothing.
By claiming it I got a silver trophy. Of course I wanted to kill more ducks, but this time I went to get the tripod so I wouldn't stress the area with my shots. So I went to the tent and looked for a tripod, placed it in the area where the ducks were arriving and sat on it to wait. A few minutes later they came again. From the tripod everything was clearer, this time I was able to kill one of them and the others were not scared away, then I aimed at another one and shot at it but I missed, that shot did scare them away. The morning continued to advance and it was past 7am, so the ducks would not return.

Como ven el trofeo de este pato fue plata, lo reclamé y me volví a esconder en el mismo lugar, no estaba seguro si los patos regresarían pero quise esperar. Efectivamente a los pocos minutos volvieron a llegar, así que nuevamente pude matar uno de ellos, estoy seguro que le di a otro porque vi como la sangre salía de él, pero siguió volando como si nada.
Al reclamarlo conseguí trofeo de plata. Claro que quería matar más patos, pero esta ves fui a buscar el trípode para no estresar la zona con mis disparos. Así que fui a la carpa y busque un trípode lo coloqué en la zona donde estaban llegando los patos y me monté en él a esperar. A los pocos minutos llegaron de nuevo. Desde el trípode todo se veía más claro, esta vez pude matar a uno de ellos y los demás no se espantaron, entonces apunté a otro y le disparé pero no acerté, ese disparo si los espantó. La mañana seguía avanzando y pasaban de las 7am, así que ya los patos no regresarían.

At the end of the day when I was about to retire home (leave the game), before I went to my tent near the lake and heard several ducks in the distance, I thought it would not be bad to kill another one before leaving, when I left the tent I was surprised to see a big quiet bear very close to the lake, it was about 180 meters away, it was very clear, I took out my camera praying that it was the right one and indeed, I could finally take a picture of Mr. Black, so mission completed. I must confess that I tried to take a shot at Mr. Black but I missed.

Al final del día cuando ya me disponía a retirarme a casa (salir del juego), antes fui a mi carpa cerca del lago y escuché varios patos a lo lejos, pensé que no estaría mal matar algún otro antes de irme, al salir de la carpa me llevé la gran sorpresa de ver un gran oso tranquilo muy cerca del lago, lo tenía a unos 180 metros de distancia, estaba muy claro, saqué mi cámara rogando que sea el indicado y efectivamente, al fin pude tomarle una foto a Mr. Black, así que misión completada. Debo confesar que trate de pegarle un tiro a Mr. Black pero lo fallé.
I am very happy because in addition to completing the mission I was able to kill some ducks and rabbits, not bad after having a week without hunting. It is also the first time I use these tools of my recent purchase, the tent and the tripod, I'm happy.

Me voy muy contento porque además de completar la misión pude matar algunos patos y conejos, nada mal después de tener una semana sin cazar. Además es la primera vez que uso estas herramientas de mi reciente compra, la carpa y el trípode, estoy feliz.
