En la actualidad, estamos muy acostumbrados a los juegos con grandes resoluciones, mundos abiertos, personajes en 3D, profundidad de mapa y muchos otros aspectos que se están volviendo parte de la normalidad en los videojuegos. Sin embargo, considero que aun teniendo esas cualidades y características extraordinarias, no podemos olvidarnos ni separarnos de aquellos juegos de antaño donde teníamos mapas en 2D, un avance lineal y música de 8 bits.
Nowadays, we are very used to games with great resolutions, open worlds, 3D characters, map depth, and many other aspects becoming part of the normality in videogames. However, even with these extraordinary qualities and features, we cannot forget or separate ourselves from yesteryear games where we had 2D maps, linear progression, and 8-bit music.

Continuando con el Retro Gaming Blogging Challenge, en esta publicación correspondiente al día cinco, les presentaré uno de los videojuegos retro que aun juego, y creo que muchos de ustedes probablemente también. En este caso, hablo de Super Mario Bros All-Star de Super Nintendo el cual juego en emulador, porque ya no cuento con la consola, aunque tengo como objetivo conseguir una a buen precio y recordar momentos en donde lo único que importaba era pasar los niveles de cada juego.
Continuing with the Retro Gaming Blogging Challenge, I will present one of the retro video games that I still play in this publication corresponding to day five. I think many of you probably do too. In this case, I'm talking about Super Mario Bros All-Star from Super Nintendo, which I play in an emulator because I don't have the console anymore. However, my goal is to get one at a reasonable price and remember moments where the only thing that mattered was to pass the levels of each game.
Como tal, es un compilado de remakes de varios juegos del bigotón Mario para la NES; contiene el juego de Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3 y Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels (no lo había jugado, hasta hace poco). Un montón de nostalgia en un solo cartucho. Lo mejor de esto es que los gráficos fueron retocados y tenemos unos ambientes mucho más coloridos a comparación de su predecesora.
It is a compilation of remakes of several Mario games for the NES; it contains the Super Mario Bros. game, Super Mario Bros. 2, 3, and Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels (I hadn't played it until recently). A lot of nostalgia in one cartridge. The best thing about it is that the graphics were retouched. We have much more colorful environments than its predecessor.
Cada que tengo tiempo libre después de mucho trabajo, me tomo la libertad de darme un descanso perdiéndome en este juego. Lo que me agrada es la facilidad de poder estar intercambiando entre juegos para disfrutar de cada uno de esos niveles, que a estas alturas ya no se me hacen complicados, salvo los de The Lost Levels, ese aún no lo termino. Como dato curioso, mi novia es adicta al juego de Super Mario Bros. 3 y ya hasta se sabe los bugs para terminar el juego en minutos y yo aún no. 😢
Every I have free time after a lot of work, I take the liberty to take a break and get lost in this game. I like the ease of switching between games to enjoy each one of those levels, which at this point are no longer complicated, except for The Lost Levels, which I still haven't finished. As a curious fact, my girlfriend is addicted to the Super Mario Bros. 3 game, and she even knows the bugs to finish the game in minutes, and I still don't. 😢
Regresando al juego, a pesar de ser un remake, mantiene la esencia de los juegos originales, y eso hace que exista ese factor nostalgia que nos engancha muchas veces a esos juegos que no podemos olvidar. Te sientes un niño de nuevo al pasártelos otra vez, y lo mejor de todo es que con los emuladores puedes pausar y guardar la partida cuando quieras. En esta versión, en cualquier juego de Mario es posible guardar el avance en el nivel en el que te encuentres.
Back to the game, despite being a remake, it keeps the essence of the original games. That makes that nostalgia factor that often hooks us to those games that we can not forget. You feel like a kid again when you play them again, and the best of all is that with emulators, you can pause and save the game whenever you want. In this version, in any Mario game, it is possible to keep your progress at the level you are in.
