Hello everyone! New day, new post, I'm glad to continue with the impulse to publish several days in a row and well, here I come with another post, exactly with the 6th chapter of Aegis Defender, I thought that this would be a short chapter, because this part of the story was more about fighting, but in the end it was a good chapter, so well… Let's get to it!
This time we will destroy the Mulberry generator that is located in Sunken Bastion.
The Rise of Man
We see the continuation of the story of Hozai, the man who was banished by The Deathless to some ancient lands, there he was researching for some time and we see that he discovered how to kill a God, now we see how Hozai used this knowledge to finish off The Deathless, being this the first God to die. The Clarent is the name of the weapon that Hozai used to destroy the gods.
After the cinematic we arrived at the site, which was at some point the entrance to the capital Sen, the walls of this city are in ruins because of The Crusades, the group that used the fearsome weapon called The Clarent, the same that I finish with the parents of Clu.
We are in a fairly small area, enough to house the 4 relics in the same place that we will use to battle with the hordes, there is really not much to say, I collected some objects and continued with the trip.
A little further up was the Mulberry generator, right next to it were a couple of giant turrets that Clu noticed, (obviously who wouldn't xD) Bart intervened to say that it seemed strange to him Seeing two generators together, Kaiim said that this was done by the Indra empire to spread the poison faster and thus create more berserkers, at least it's most likely.
In order not to lengthen things too much, Kobo suggests that Kaiim and him take care of the problem together, Kaiim didn't understand very well, but Kobo knew how to insult him so he would understand xD.
Before starting I decided to collect the relics that I could, so as not to have to do it in the middle of the battle, the first relic was at the top, nothing complicated.
The second was behind a false wall.
And the last one we could get for now was behind a wall that is opened remotely by pressing a switch that is located at the top of this level.
To collect the last relic we need to use a Clu bomb, something impossible until we start to battle and we get the objects to create the defenses.
Anyway, we started, I must say that I lost this battle once, I had to restart the game from the save point, and from here it was easier because they gave me a resource for Bart and Clu so I could put a bomb and an obstacle, although this is not so much, I also managed to discover that I could let Clu or Bart pilot one of the giant turrets.
Also collect the last relic.
In general, I had no problems after discovering that I could manage both turrets at the same time, well, at least leave one on automatic, I can say that until horde number 4 everything was sewing and singing, I only got complicated when leaving it for a while one of the turrets to attack an enemy's shield, which can only be broken with Bart's yellow item.
After the hordes we take our deserved victory, we destroy the generators and watch as the group talks a bit, there is a concern about what could happen to Kaiim if they discover him destroying the generators.
Kaiim just laughs, it seems that he had not thought about his current situation, basically he plans to delay the Indra empire as much as possible, but certainly one day they will find out, since he does not intend to give up on his futile fight, it can be said that he himself knows that he is a dead man, one who will probably be tortured before dying.
We see Clu and Bart quite surprised, since it is not a normal reaction that Kaiim presents, our protagonist Clu asks him if he is in denial or something like that, since the subject is not funny.
Kaiim admits that it may be so, the truth is that a part of him is terrified of what could happen to him, but basically he is not going to give up, he says a very cool phrase that I really did not understand, and then he says that well in other words it is not worth worrying about what is to come, since this only clouds your judgment.
After all that Bart hears, he decides that it's time to really trust Kaiim, we see how our dear Bart explains that there is another way. There's something they still haven't told Kaiim about and it might be time to tell him.
And I finished the level! The use of the turret defenses was fun, although I think it could have been a level longer in general I must admit that everything was quite good, although sometimes it does not stop feeling that the whole game was a tutorial.
After returning to the camp we notice that the group finishes explaining everything to Kaiim, basically Kobo is the key to an ancient legendary weapon called Aegis, our humble Kobo He admits that what the monk says is true, Kobo is practically the main character of this story according to himself.
Kaiim is surprised by what Clu and Bart have accomplished, especially considering all the dangers they have faced, and even worse, the ones that are likely to come, such as it will be the Indra empire. Kaiim gives us his word, after finishing off Mulberry's generators he will do what he can to help us in our mission.
Our chapter ends with Kobo accepting Kaiim into the group and welcoming him, Kaiim kindly thanks him, and Bart tells him that he doesn't have to.

Vemos la continuación de la historia de Hozai, el hombre que fue desterrado por The Deathless a unas antiguas tierras, allí estuvo investigando por algún tiempo y vemos que descubrió como matar a un Dios, ahora vemos como Hozai utilizo estos conocimientos para acabar con The Deathless, siendo este el primer Dios en morir. The Clarent es el nombre del arma que uso Hozai para acabar con los dioses.
Luego de la cinemática llegamos al sitio, lo que fue en algún momento la entrada a la capital Sen, los muros de esta ciudad se encuentran en ruinas por culpa de The Crusades, el grupo que usaba a la temible arma llamada The Clarent, la misma que acabo con los padres de Clu.
Nos encontramos en un área bastante pequeña, lo suficiente como para albergar las 4 reliquias en el mismo sitio que usaremos para batallar con las hordas, la verdad no hay mucho que decir, recolecte algunos objetos y proseguí con el viaje.
Un poco más arriba se encontraba el generador de Mulberry, justo al lado de él habían un par de torretas gigantes que Clu noto, (obvio quien no lo haría xD) Bart intervino para decir que le parecía raro ver dos generadores juntos, Kaiim dijo que esto lo hizo el imperio Indra para esparcir el veneno más rápidamente y así crear más berserkers, al menos es lo más probable.
Para no alargar demasiado las cosas Kobo sugiere que Kaiim y él se encarguen juntos del problema, Kaiim no entendió muy bien, pero Kobo supo insultarlo para que entendiera xD.
Antes de empezar decidí recolectar las reliquias que pudiera, para no tener que hacerlo en medio de la batalla, la primera reliquia se encontraba hasta arriba, nada complicado.
La segunda estaba detrás de una pared falsa.
Y la última que podíamos obtener por ahora estaba detrás de una pared que se abre de forma remota pulsando un interruptor que está ubicado en la parte superior de este nivel.
Para recolectar la última reliquia necesitamos usar una bomba de Clu, algo imposible hasta que empecemos a batallar y nos salgas los objetos para crear las defensas.
En fin, total que empezamos, debo decir que perdí una vez esta batalla, me toco reiniciar la partida desde el punto de guardado, ya desde aquí fue más fácil pues me daban un recurso para Bart y Clu con lo que podía poner una bomba y un obstáculo, aunque esto no es tanto, también logre descubrir que podía dejar a Clu o Bart pilotar una de las torretas gigantes.
También recolecte la última reliquia.
En general no tuve problemas luego de descubrir que podía manejar ambas torretas a la vez, bueno, al menos dejar una en automático, puedo decir que hasta la horda numero 4 todo fue coser y cantar, solo me complique a la hora de dejar un rato una de las torretas para atacar el escudo de un enemigo, de los que solo se pueden romper con el elemento amarillo de Bart.
Luego de las hordas nos llevamos nuestra merecida victoria, destruimos los generadores y vemos como el grupo habla un poco, existe una preocupación sobre lo que le pueda pasar a Kaiim si lo descubren destruyendo los generadores.
Kaiim solo se ríe, parece que no se había puesto a pensar sobre su situación actual, básicamente el piensa retrasar al imperio Indra todo lo que pueda, pero ciertamente un día lo van a descubrir, dado que el no piensa rendirse en su inútil lucha, puede decirse que el mismo sabe que es un hombre muerto, uno al que probablemente torturen antes de morir.
Vemos a Clu y Bart bastante sorprendidos, dado que no es una reacción normal la que presenta Kaiim nuestra protagonista Clu le pregunta si el está en negación o algo así, ya que el tema no es divertido.
Kaiim admite que puede que sea asi, la verdad es que una parte de él se encuentra aterrada ante lo que le pueda pasar, pero básicamente no se va a rendir, dice una frase bien cool que la verdad no entendí, y luego dice que pues en otras palabras no vale la pena preocuparse de lo que está por venir, dado que esto solo nubla tu juicio.
Luego de todo lo que escucho Bart este decide que es hora de confiar realmente en Kaiim, vemos como nuestro querido Bart explica que hay otra manera. Existe algo que lo que aún no le hablan a Kaiim y puede que sea el momento de contarle.
¡Y acabo el nivel! El uso de las torretas de defensa estuvo divertido, aunque creo que pudo ser un nivel más largo en general debo admitir que todo estuvo bastante bien, aunque a veces no deja de parecer que el juego entero fuera un tutorial.
Tras volver al campamento notamos que el grupo termina de explicar todo a Kaiim, básicamente Kobo es la llave de una antigua arma legendaria que lleva por nombre Aegis, nuestro humilde Kobo admite que es real lo que dice el monje, Kobo es prácticamente el personaje principal de esta historia según el mismo.
Kaiim se muestra sorprendido por lo que han logrado Clu y Bart, sobretodo tomando en cuenta todos los peligros que han tenido que afrontar, y peor aún, los que probablemente están por venir, como lo será el imperio Indra. Kaiim nos da su palabra, luego de acabar con los generadores de Mulberry este hará o que pueda para ayudarnos en nuestra misión.
Nuestro capitulo termina con Kobo aceptando a Kaiim en el grupo y dándole la bienvenida, Kaiim le da las gracias amablemente y Bart le dice que no tiene porque hacerlo.
