Hi friends of Hive! I'm here with another chapter of Moonlighter, a game that so far I'm loving too much but that I'm trying to finish little by little, you know... To enjoy it as it should be.
In the last chapter we managed to improve Moonlighter until its latest expansion, in order to finish the forest dungeon in the best possible way, with all loose ends basically. Now I will dedicate myself entirely to finishing the dungeon by killing all its bosses.
Well, without further ado… Let's go into the dungeon!
Here we are, forest dungeon I, the easiest level, one that manages to finish without any problem, the enemies are the same as the previous chapter and I don't want to lengthen the post too much with repetitive information... So let's move on to the final rooms! !
We have the room with the healing water spring, as always this has its note where we will read some of the lore of the dungeon.
According to what we read in the first note, those who inhabited this site, what seems to be the dungeon were beings that began to receive attacks and lose part of their investigations, attacks that were somehow increasing.
The first boss battle isn't too complicated, just go a bit rough and the Mavu Tree will fall without any problem. (Attack before he attacks you!)
After this battle it is possible to access the next level, forest dungeon IIhere things are a little stronger and you have to be careful, a silly carelessness and you lose everything. The setting changes from a withered forest to one with more life.
The battles are a bit longer due to the fact that the enemies level up, it is also possible to see a couple of somewhat complicated attack patterns, although honestly it is somewhat rare, however, if you are not careful they can lower your life little by little , especially with ranged attacks.
We hit the next note, heal up, and read.
In the note that we find before the second boss, we are told that this civilization still did not understand where the attacks they were receiving in their experimental forest were coming from, as we can read in forest stories I book found in the chapter Previously, the civilization that populated these lands was a fairly intelligent species, so they turned to science to solve problems of famine that occurred in their town. Most likely, they created the forest we call forest dungeon. The last thing the note says is that the only thing left after the attacks was some kind of green slime, just like the one we left after fleeing from the dungeon curious huh.
Our battle in this level is against the Corrupted Mavu Tree a tree even more mutated than the previous one, the attack pattern is somewhat more complicated, but deep down it is nothing to write home about, the combat is based on dodging projectiles and jump when he transforms and tries to run us over, this is the tricky attack because it's insta kill. (In the video I didn't let him do this attack, because I killed him a couple of times in raids before the forest dungeon.)
And we go to the forest dungeon III the final part of this dungeon and where we should find the most difficult boss in these parts. The dungeon looks even more alive, although the overall tones are orange, the same color as the toxins around the dungeon.
But first, we'll head back to Moonlighter to heal Will and replenish our healing potions.
Potions are not given away, so I dedicated myself to selling some of the things I found while I was in the dungeon.
And now, we return to the office, it is important to go through the door that is next to the store because if we go through the normal entrance we will start again. (This already happened to me xD.)
I noticed that when we returned using the portal that allows us to return to the level where we were in the dungeon, the map of that level was completely revealed, something that I noticed on the map was some special chests, I could not help but go for them and I took a a great surprise.
I found in one of them a lucky charm! This item increases our chance of finding items by 20% after defeating an enemy, although it lowers our defense by 10%.
After several rooms and somewhat complicated battles due to the large amount of life of the enemies, I finally managed to reach the room with the healing spring.
We can notice that the person who writes the last note is desperate, he doesn't understand who the people are that invade them constantly, something that they can't convince even with their advancing knowledge, one that is capable of creating a forest with life. Even with such a serious situation they need to focus their efforts on ending the LF1 serum for some reason their world depends on it.
I apologize to whoever sees this post, because for this part I should leave the battle against the final boss, however it will not be possible for me, because I lost the video and for some reason I cannot do this battle again, the boss in question should be this:
Carnivorous Mutae a giant mutant plant, very similar to the small plants that whipped us in previous rooms, we will say that it is its mother. Instead, when I return to the room after defeating her, they greet me with this:
It's a bit disappointing, but I can't leave the series just because of this little mistake. So I will continue with the Lore, something also very important, after defeating the final boss of the forest dungeon we are given quite a few writings from which we can draw various conclusions.
To begin with, we have the History of the forest in three different volumes, where it is revealed that the creators of the LF1 serum are an intelligent species that was going through a period of famine, they had enough intelligence so they decided to revive the forests of their civilization, everything went well for a while, there was abundance and plenty of food, however at one point things got out of control, the forests did not stop growing, to the point that this forest covered their world and they lost everything...
We also received the botanical notes in three volumes where it is explained that this civilization only wanted to increase the size of the crops they had, however the LF1 they created for it did not only achieve this, it also managed to provide to the plants of consciousness. over time even mobility, at some point in their experiments they were able to realize that some plants had evolved to the point of being able to attack.
Finally we have the Carnivorous Mutae Notes where it is explained that this civilization planned to expose some plant to a continuous flow of LF1 instead of injections, thus creating a plant large enough to supply a city, probably this idea was thought and executed before they realized that plants could be able to become aware, move and attack.
With this information we conclude with the forest dungeon, a place that seems to have been a civilization at some point, one so intelligent that it managed to create plants with consciousness, the ability to move and attack, but it was not a civilization so intelligent as to be able to control its creation and this itself became the object of its end.
Leaving the dungeon we meet Zenon who is worried and proud of us for having managed to open and defeat the king of the golems and the guardian of the dungeon, he also informs us that the desert dungeon has been opened. He finally tells us that Moonlighter is starting to look like the older version of him, busier, though he doesn't seem happy about it, rather concerned.
Second final boss defeated, second dungeon finished. Two more keys are missing to open the dungeon door.
That will be all for this chapter! Little by little we are discovering more of the history of the dungeon, which until now seems like a cluster of portals to other worlds, some already finished, until now the thing is turning into a colorful and depressing story, a dungeon of automaton golems without a master and a forest of plants that destroyed their creators.

Hola amigos de Hive! Llego con otro capítulo de Moonlighter un juego que hasta ahora me está encantando demasiado pero que intento terminar poco a poco, ya saben… Para disfrutarlo como debe ser.
En el último capítulo se logró mejorar Moonlighter hasta su última expansión, con el fin de terminar la mazmorra forestal de la mejor manera posible, con todos los cabos sueltos básicamente. Ahora me dedicare enteramente a terminar la mazmorra acabando con todos sus jefes.
Bueno, sin más que decir… ¡Vamos a internarnos en la mazmorra!
Acá estamos, mazmorra forestal I, el nivel más sencillo, uno que logre terminar sin ningún problema, los enemigos son los mismos del capítulo anterior y no deseo alargar demasiado la publicación con información repetitiva… ¡Así que pasemos de una vez a las habitaciones finales!
Tenemos la habitación con el manantial de agua curativa, como siempre este tiene su nota donde leeremos algo del lore de la mazmorra.
Según lo que leemos en la primera nota quienes habitaban este sitio, lo que parece ser la mazmorra fueron seres que empezaron a recibir ataques y perder parte de sus investigaciones, ataques que de alguna manera iban en aumento.
La batalla contra el primer jefe no tiene demasiadas complicaciones, basta con ir un poco a saco y el Árbol Mavu caerá sin ningún problema. (¡Ataca antes de que él te ataque a ti!)
Luego de esta batalla es posible acceder al siguiente nivel, mazmorra forestal IIaquí las cosas van un poco más fuertes y hay que ir con cuidado, un descuido tonto y pierdes todo. El escenario pasa de ser un bosque marchito a uno con más vida.
Las batallas son un poco más largas debido a que los enemigos suben de nivel, también es posible ver un par de patrones algo complicados de ataque, aunque sinceramente es algo raro, sin embargo, si te descuidas te pueden ir bajando la vida de a poco, sobre todo con los ataques a distancia.
Llegamos a la siguiente nota, nos curamos y leemos.
En la nota que encontramos antes del segundo jefe, se nos dice que esta civilización aun no entendía de donde provenían los ataques que estaban recibiendo en su bosque experimental, como podemos leer en historias del bosque I libro encontrado en el capítulo anterior, la civilización que poblaba estas tierras era una especia bastante inteligente, por lo que recurrieron a la ciencia para solucionar problemas de hambruna que concurrían en su pueblo. Lo más seguro es que hayan creado el bosque que llamamos mazmorra forestal. Lo último que dice la nota es que lo único que quedaba luego de los ataques eran una especie de limo verde, tal y como el que dejamos luego de huir de la mazmorra curioso eh.
Nuestra batalla en este nivel es contra el Árbol Mavu corrupto una árbol aún más mutado que el anterior, el patrón de ataque es algo más complicado, pero en el fondo no es nada del otro mundo, el combate se basa en esquivar los proyectiles y saltar cuando se transforme e intente arrollarnos, este es el ataque complicado pues es insta kill. (En el video no deje que hiciera este ataque, pues me acabo un par de veces con el en incursiones anteriores a la mazmorra forestal.)
Y pasamos a la mazmorra forestal III la parte final de esta mazmorra y donde deberíamos encontrar al jefe más complicado de estos lares. La mazmorra se ve aún más vida, aunque los tonos en general son anaranjados, del mismo color que las toxinas que hay por la mazmorra.
Pero antes volveremos a Moonlighter para curar a Will y reabastecer nuestras pociones de curación.
Las pociones no son regaladas, por ende me dedique a vender algunas de las cosas que encontré mientras estaba en la mazmorra.
Y ya, volvemos al oficio, importante atravesar la puerta que está al lado de la tienda pues si nos vamos por la entrada normal volveremos a empezar. (Esto ya me ocurrió xD.)
Note que al volver usando el portal que nos permite regresar al nivel donde estábamos en la mazmorra se nos reblaba el mapa de ese nivel por completo, algo que note en el mapa fue algunos cofres especiales, no pude evitar ir por ellos y me lleve una grata sorpresa.
Encontré en uno de ellos un amuleto de la suerte! Este objeto aumenta un 20% nuestra probabilidad de encontrar objetos luego de derrotar a un enemigo, aunque baja un 10% nuestra defensa.
Luego de varias habitaciones y batallas algo complicadas por la gran cantidad de vida de los enemigos finalmente logre llegar a la habitación con el manantial curativo.
Podemos notar que quien escribe la última nota se encuentra desesperado, no entiende quien es la gente que los invade constantemente, algo que no logran convencer aun con su avanzando conocimiento, uno que es capaz de crear un bosque con vida. Aun con tal grave situación necesitan centrar sus esfuerzos en acabar con el serum LF1 por alguna razón su mundo depende de ello.
Me disculpo con quien vea este post, pues para esta parte debería dejar la batalla contra el jefe final, sin embargo no me será algo posible, pues perdí el video y por alguna razón no puedo volver a hacer esta batalla, el jefe en cuestión debería ser este:
Carnivorous Mutae una planta mutante gigante, muy parecida a las plantas pequeñas que nos lanzaban latigazos en habitaciones anteriores, diremos que es su madre. En su lugar al volver a la habitación luego de derrotarla me reciben con esto:
Decepciona un poco, pero no puedo abandonar la saga solo por este pequeño error. Así que continuare con el Lore, algo también muy importante, luego de derrotar al jefe final de la mazmorra forestal se nos dan bastantes escritos de los que podemos sacar varias conclusiones.
Para empezar tenemos la Historia del bosque en tres tomos distintos, donde se nos revela que los creadores del serum LF1 son una especie inteligente que atravesaba por un periodo de hambruna, tenían la inteligencia suficiente así que decidieron revivir los bosques de su civilización, todo fue bien por un tiempo, hubo abundancia y comida por montón, sin embargo en un punto las cosas se salieron de control, los bosques no pararon de crecer, hasta el punto de que este bosque cubrió su mundo y ellos lo perdieron todo…
También recibimos los apuntes botánicos en tres tomos donde se nos explica que esta civilización solo deseaba aumentar el tamaño de los cultivos que poseían, sin embargo el LF1 que crearon para ello no logro solo esto, también logro dotar a las plantas de conciencia. con el tiempo incluso movilidad, en algún punto de sus experimentos pudieron darse cuenta que algunas plantas habían evolucionado al punto de ser capases de atacar.
Finalmente tenemos las Notas de Carnivorous Mutae donde se nos explica que esta civilización planeaba exponer alguna planta a un flujo continuo de LF1 en lugar de inyecciones, así crear una planta suficientemente grande como para abastecer una ciudad, probablemente esta idea fue pensada y ejecutada antes de que se dieran cuenta que las plantas podían ser capases de tomar conciencia, moverse y atacar.
Con esta información concluimos con la mazmorra forestal, un sitio que parece haber sido en algún momento una civilización, una tan inteligente que logro crear plantas con conciencia, capacidad para moverse y atacar, pero no fue una civilización tan inteligente como para poder controlar a su creación y esta misma se convirtió en el objeto de su fin.
Al salir de la mazmorra nos encontramos con Zenon quien se encuentra preocupado y orgulloso de nosotros por haber logrado abrir derrotar al rey de los golems y al guardián de la mazmorra, también nos informa que la mazmorra desértica ha sido abierta. Finalmente nos dice que Moonlighterempieza a parecerse a su antigua versión, más ajetreada, aunque no parece feliz por ello, más bien se nota preocupado.
Segundo jefe final derrotado, segunda mazmorra finalizada. Faltan dos llaves más para poder abrir la quitan puerta de la mazmorra.
¡Eso será todo por este capítulo! Poco a poco vamos descubriendo más de la historia de la mazmorra, la cual va pareciendo hasta ahora un cumulo de portales a otros mundos, unos ya acabados, hasta ahora la cosa se va tornando como una colorida y deprimente historia, una mazmorra de golems autómatas sin amo y un bosque de plantas que destruyeron a sus creadores.
