Greetings members of the Hive Gaming community, welcome to my post once again, I'm Nitsu and I bring a game that caught me quite a lot since I came from playing Little Nightmares and Limbo, I'm talking about the gloomy game INSIDE, an installment that thanks to the free games that Epic Games was giving I could get to experience.

Well, as I mentioned before, this game is very similar to Limbo and Little Nightmares, it has a horizontal advancement where we must overcome obstacles, enemies and solve puzzles to continue advancing with its enthralling story. I had the opportunity to play it on my birthday with several friends, every time we got frustrated we were taking turns to pass the areas, so I only have screenshots of the parts where I was playing. The average duration of INSIDE is about 3 to 6 hours of gameplay depending if you don't get stuck at some point, so with my friends we were able to finish it the same day we started it.
Bueno como mencione anteriormente este juego es muy similar al Limbo y al Little Nightmares, cuenta con un avance horizontal donde deberemos sortear obstáculos, enemigos y resolver puzles para seguir avanzando con su atrapante historia. Tuve la oportunidad de jugarlo el día de mi cumpleaños con varios amigos, cada vez que nos frustrábamos nos íbamos turnando para pasar las zonas, así que solo tengo capturas de las partes donde yo estuve jugando. La duración media del INSIDE son unas 3 a 6hs de juego dependiendo si no te trabas mucho en algún punto así que con mis amigos pudimos terminarlo el mismo día que lo empezamos.

As you will see in the images, the setting is gloomy, there are no dialogues throughout the game, but, as players, we must be attentive to the scenarios, reactions and situations to understand what happens in the apocalyptic world of INSIDE. At all times there will be people who will be looking for us to catch us, if that is not enough apparently there is some kind of parasite that affects animals and people, once infected they will seek to kill us.

You will probably finish the game and not understand the story, as it is very hidden and not very explicit, but seeing the comments of the developers and researching a little more on the internet you will be able to close loose ends to reach your own conclusions and I assure you that you will be fascinated.

Something I would like to emphasize is that it is a totally linear game with no loading screens, so when you least realize it, some hours have already passed since you started the adventure; there is no map, there is no HUD for the player which achieves a great immersion to the game, feeling part of that adventure where you must avoid dying or solve that riddle before running out of time.

The development of the game is very simple in terms of its playable mechanics, among them we can jump, activate switches or levers, swim or dive, push objects and although they are simple combined and well implemented you get a good gaming experience without becoming frustrating. Another thing that also stands out is the mechanics of being able to control some strange beings, a kind of homunculi through a mind control helmet, I do not tell much more of this so you can enjoy it in the game itself.
El desarrollo del juego es muy simple en cuanto a sus mecánicas jugables, entre ellas podremos saltar, activar interruptores o palancas, nadar o bucear, empujar objetos y aunque sean simples combinadas y bien implementadas logras una buena experiencia de juego sin llegar a ser frustrante. Otra cosa que también destaco es la mecánica de poder controlar unos seres extraños, una especie de homúnculos por medio de un casco de control mental, no cuento mucho más de esto para que lo puedan disfrutar en el propio juego.
The sound environment is almost null, the necessary to set us in an open place, sounds of creatures or laboratory and although it seems strange this contributes greatly to that we as players are immersed in the tension of the moment so that we are attentive to the narrative implicit in the screen.

From what I've seen, the game's replayability is nil, except for a small detail that may reveal a bit more of the story and leave you wondering where you'll take a second path to see the alternate ending, but beyond that there's not much to do after finishing INSIDE.

Hay escenarios que son muy oscuros, podremos encontrar cientos de criaturas o personas, ya que no se deja muy en claro realmente que son, siendo controladas o almacenadas como productos, en los laboratorios que recorreremos también podremos encontrar zonas de creación con estas criaturas flotando en el agua, todo muy oscuro, pero dándonos a entender que se hacen experimentos extraños o que algo ha ocurrido en la tierra para llevar a que el humano tome la decisión de hacer estas atrocidades.

This game curiously manages to generate anxiety to the player, I do not know if there are many games that achieve it, there will be situations where we must go unnoticed and the fact of being in front of those guards and not make any mistake generates a great tension that will probably make you make more mistakes, it is not a terror like other games where Jump scares come out but it transmits tension, stress and that special anxiety that is managed to generate with the situations of this delivery.
Este juego curiosamente logra generar ansiedad al jugador, no sé si hay muchos juegos que lo logren, habrá situaciones donde deberemos pasar inadvertidos y el hecho de esta frente a esos guardias y no cometer ningún error genera una gran tensión que probablemente hará que cometas más errores, no es un terror como otros juegos donde salen Jump scares sino que transmite tensión, estrés y esa ansiedad especial que se logra generar con la situaciones de esta entrega.
To close, INSIDE is a game where its developers sought to focus all the attention on the message and story they wanted to convey, its creators have managed to understand the mechanics quickly without tedious tutorials, not even texts so everything is very intuitive allowing the player to advance with the different mechanics presented to us throughout the story. INSIDE is not for all audiences, although it is understandable for all players. That everyone will be able to finish the game if they want to, but not everyone will be accustomed or comfortable with the way the game is developed.
