Hi Hivers! I hope you are having a fantastic day. Today I come with a slightly different theme than usual, but it's because of a friend's show called Ready Player Hive. The theme they chose for this week is to talk about our favorite and least favorite video game genres. In my case, I'll have a bit of a hard time since I enjoy almost any genre of game as long as it's fun. However, I will stick to the theme and be honest when it comes time to talk about my least favorite genre.
Every genre of video game has its charm, be it visual style, mechanics, or anything else, so it's hard to have an absolute favorite and there will also be many that I haven't tried. I speak from my personal opinion, and I understand that tastes may vary between people, but I hope you enjoy the post.
My favorite genre: ✨MMORPG ✨
Although I know that MMORPGs are somewhat complex in the sense that many of them feel like a second life due to the fact that you have to dedicate a good amount of time to have your characters well-armed or whatever the goal you propose in these games since in most of these games you have many freedoms. There are several ways to enjoy MMORPGs since you have both PVE (player vs monster) and PVP (player vs player) environments, there are a good amount of users that only focus on one of the two. In my case, I'm more into pve because I feel that this way you get more immersed in the game, but even so I also like pvp, but in a more casual way.
Clearly, within the MMORPG games, there are many different styles, there are many with more serious themes, others more anime, and others that seek the combination of many, but still I want to talk about some that are really special to me, they are the following:
Mu Online
The Mu was my first MMORPG, I still remember the day when I entered the Cybert I noticed that a friend was playing something that caught my attention, when I asked him the name he said "Mu Online" I did not have my own computer at that time, but in my house there was one of my sisters, as soon as I arrived I looked for the game, from that everything was going to change, I think the things that tied me more was the theme of classes in the characters, all that around in terms of leveling up, armor and more. Something funny about this is that when I went to talk to my friend to play together he told me that he was playing a private server and I had downloaded the official WEBZEN Mu, but that's where I stayed.
World of Warcraft
Here we already entered the MMORPG that was simply a spectacle, I met the WoW for some internet videos, and at this point, I already had my own computer, if I remember it very well in 2011, so I embarked on this wonderful world, my first character was a Hunter named "Juanold" do not ask me why, but I remember that once I played for 21 hours almost straight, I didn't go to school that day because I was raiding with some people I had met, in this game I really realized what it is to like something or not, so much so that sometimes I wasn't even aware of eating haha, but it was thanks to this game that I understood that MMORPGs were my passion, so much so that I'm still playing WoW in its current expansion which is Dragonflight.

I could be talking about MMORPGs all day, but I just wanted to mention the 2 most important for me, since they were the ones that tied me to the world of professions, mounts, giant monsters, and more. But I'll leave this part so I don't get so long haha, I still want to mention games like Flyff, Eden Eternal, Ragnarok Online, Invictus, and many more.
The genre I enjoy the least: 💀FPS💀
The genre that I like the least is undoubtedly the FPS, but when I talk about these in the field when they are already online because in the campaigns everything is happiness, fun, and more. But when you step on your first online game you realize the big differences that exist, they are games that require time, and skill, among many more things, it is not only a single factor that determines how good you will be in the game, but there are a variety of things that separate you from the rest.
In the past, I feel that I never fully enjoyed FPS, like every child obviously I loved CS.16 but it was only because I played it with my friends, but I feel that it was until then when I tried to play alone when I already had my PC to other games like Black point, Wolf team and many more but even so I could not have as much fun.
Currently, I have tried to play a few installments of this genre that are quite loved by many people as CSGO, Valorant, COD, or some other out there loose, but still I feel that never end up hooking me, I do not know if because I feel that in this type of games not only skill is rewarded if not also have a good connection. Good PC among other things. But maybe this is just me, my friends love CSGO in fact I have it downloaded to play with them once in a while, but even so, I don't really enjoy these games as I should.

And To finish I have to say that I really enjoyed talking about this topic because I had not thought about it before, even so, I feel that all this depends on the person that there are no bad video game genres, it is simply from the perception of the staff as I explained a moment ago so we should quietly enjoy what we like but without criticizing what others enjoy.

¡Hola Hivers! Espero que estén teniendo un día fantástico. Hoy vengo con un tema un poco diferente a lo habitual, pero es debido al programa de unos amigos llamado Ready Player Hive. La temática que eligieron para esta semana es hablar sobre nuestro género de videojuegos favorito y el que menos nos guste. En mi caso lo tendré un poco difícil ya que disfruto de casi cualquier género de juego siempre y cuando sea divertido. Sin embargo, me apegaré a la temática y seré sincero cuando llegue el momento de hablar sobre el género que menos me gusta.
Cada género de videojuego tiene su encanto, ya sea por su estilo visual, mecánicas o cualquier otra cosa, por lo que es difícil tener un favorito absoluto y también habrá muchos que no he probado. Hablo desde mi opinión personal, y entiendo que los gustos pueden variar entre las personas, pero espero que disfruten del post.
Género favorito : ✨MMORPG ✨
Aunque se bien que los MMORPG son algo complejos en el sentido de que muchos de estos se sienten como una segunda vida por el hecho de que tienes que dedicarles una buena cantidad de tiempo para tener tus personajes bien armados o cual sea la meta que te propongas en estos mismos, ya que en la mayoría de estos juegos tienes muchas libertades. Hay varias maneras de disfrutar los MMORPG ya que tienes entornos tanto de PVE (jugador vs monstruo) como de PVP (jugador vs jugador) , hay una buena cantidad de usuarios que solo se enfoca en una de las dos. En mi caso soy mas del pve ya que siento que de esta manera te sumerges mas en el juego, pero aun asi también me gusta el pvp, pero de una manera más casual.
Claramente dentro de los juegos MMORPG hay muchos estilos diferentes, hay muchos que son con temáticas más serias, otros más a lo anime u otros que buscan la combinación de muchos, pero aun así yo quiero hablar de algunos que son realmente especiales para mí, son los siguientes:
Mu Online
El Mu fue mi primer MMORPG, todavía recuerdo el día donde al entrar al Cybert me fije que estaba un amigo jugando algo que me llamo la atención, cuando le pregunte el nombre me dijo “Mu Online” yo para ese tiempo no tenía computadora propia, pero en mi casa si había una de mi hermana, apenas llegue busque el juego, desde ese todo iba a cambiar, creo que de las cosas que mas me amarraron fue el tema de clases en los personajes, todo ese en torno en cuanto a subir de nivel, armaduras y más. Algo gracioso de esto es que cuando fui a hablar con mi amigo para jugar juntos el me dijo que el estaba jugando un servidor privado y yo había descargado el Mu de WEBZEN que era el oficial, pero ahí me quedé.
World of Warcraft
Aquí ya entramos en el MMORPG que simplemente fue un espectáculo, conocí el WoW por unos videos de internet, en este punto ya tena mi propia computadora, eso si lo recuerdo muy bien fue en el año 2011, así que me embarque en este maravilloso mundo, mi primer personaje fue un Cazador llamado “Juanold” no me pregunten el porqué, pero recuerdo que una vez juegue por 21 horas casi seguidas, no fui al colegio ese día porque estaba raideando con unas personas que había conocido, en este juegue que realmente me di cuenta lo que es que te guste algo o no, tanto así que a veces no estaba pendiente ni de comer haha, pero fue gracias a este juego que entendí que los MMORPG eran mi pasión, tanto asi que aun estoy jugando al WoW en su expansión actual que es dragonflight.

Podría estar hablando de los MMORPG todo el día, pero solamente quería mencionar para mí los 2 mas importantes, ya que fueron los que me amarraron a ese mundo de Profesiones, monturas, monstruos gigantes y más. Pero hasta aquí dejare esta parte para lo alargarme tanto haha, aun así quiero mencionar juegos como Flyff, Eden eternal, ragnarok online, invictus y muchos más.
El menos disfruto: 💀FPS💀
En cuanto a el género que menos me gusta sin duda son los FPS, pero cuando hablo de estos en el ámbito de cuando ya son online, porque en las campañas todo es felicidad, diversión y más. Pero cuando pisas tu primera partida online te das cuenta las grandes diferencias que existen, son juegos que requieren tiempo, habilidad, entre muchas mas cosas, no solo es un solo factor que determina que tan bueno serás en el juego, si no que hay una gran variedad de cosas que te separan del resto.
En el pasado siento que tampoco llegue nunca a disfrutar por completos los FPS, como todo niño obviamente ame el CS.16 pero solo era porque lo jugaba con mis amigos, pero siento que hasta ahí era, luego intente jugar solo cuando ya tenia mi PC a otros juegos como Black point, Wolf team y muchos mas pero aun así no lograba divertirme tanto.
En la actualidad he intentado jugar unas cuantas entregas de este género que son bastante amadas por mucha gente como CSGO, Valorant, COD o alguno que otro por ahí suelto, pero aun así siento que nunca terminan de engancharme, no sé si porque siento que en este tipo de juegos no solo se premia la habilidad si no también tener buena conexión. Buena PC entre otras cosas más. Pero puede que esto solo sea cosa mía, mis amigos aman el CSGO de hecho lo tengo descargado para una que otra vez jugar con ellos, pero aun asi realmente estos juegos no los disfruto como debe ser.

Ya para finalizar tengo que decir que me ha gustado bastante hablar del tema ya que esto no lo había pensado tanto antes, aun así siento que todo esto depende de la persona que no existen géneros de videojuegos malos, simplemente es desde la percepción de la personal tal como lo explique hace un momento por eso debemos disfrutar tranquilamente de lo que nos gusta pero sin criticar lo que disfruten los demás.
