These days I’ve been really into Albion, with streams that go up to 12 hours. It’s crazy how much time I’m putting into it, though lately I’ve slowed down a bit, I don’t want to burn out on the game too fast.
Today I want to talk a bit about my economy in Albion, which is based entirely on growing pumpkins. This used to be quite profitable. There were players with over 50 personal islands who spent hours planting and harvesting. It might sound boring, but they were making millions every day, which allowed them to buy better gear and get the most out of the game. One of the biggest fears in Albion is ending up with nothing, just like in real life. No one wants to be left with nothing, we all need money.
In Albion, running out of silver means no more fights, no going out with your friends to gank, and no content of any kind. Having well-used personal islands can be a huge financial relief. You just need to spend time harvesting and planting again, though it’s not as profitable as it used to be.
I still have my personal island, plus I have access to three more islands that aren’t mine but where I have permission to plant my pumpkins. Thanks to that, I make a little over one million silver per day with just a bit of effort. The initial investment was high, but I’ve already recovered it and made a profit. That’s one thing I love about Albion. You don’t have to rely solely on PvP or PvE to build your economy. If you know how to work the market or gather resources, you can create a solid income. There are players who have never fought in Albion and are filthy rich. Meanwhile, I spend my time fighting and I’m broke.
Something that blows my mind is seeing the price of Premium close to 30 million silver. When I first started playing, Premium was only 5 million and even that seemed impossible to get. Now making silver is much easier, but also riskier.
One of the best methods is running chests in the Roads of Avalon, a zone where anyone can kill you, but where you can find spots with chests that give tons of fame and good loot. We’ve spent some time there and had some luck.
For now, I hope to keep having fun and earn those 30 million for Premium to cover next month if I feel it’s worth it. In theory, just with my personal island, I should be able to afford it, but I can’t neglect the other types of content. Estos días he estado muy metido en Albion, con streams de hasta 12 horas. Es una locura la cantidad de tiempo que le estoy dedicando, aunque es cierto que últimamente he bajado un poco el ritmo, no quiero quemar el juego tan rápido.
Hoy quiero hablar un poco sobre mi economía dentro de Albion, la cual se basa únicamente en cultivar calabazas. Antes, esto era bastante rentable. Había jugadores con más de 50 islas personales que pasaban horas sembrando y recolectando. Puede sonar aburrido, pero generaban millones diarios, lo que les permitía comprarse mejores objetos y sacarle el máximo provecho. Uno de los mayores temores en Albion es quedarse sin nada, como en la vida real. Nadie quiere quedarse sin nada, todos necesitamos dinero.
En Albion quedarse sin plata significa que no habrá peleas, ni podrás salir con tus amigos a gankear o hacer cualquier tipo de contenido. Tener islas personales bien aprovechadas puede darte un gran respiro económico, solo debes dedicar tiempo a cosechar y volver a sembrar, aunque ya no sea tan rentable como antes.
Yo aún conservo mi isla personal, además de tener acceso a tres islas más que aunque no son mías tengo permiso para usarlas y plantar mis calabazas. Gracias a esto genero poco más de un millón de plata diariamente dedicándole apenas un poco de esfuerzo. Eso sí, la inversión inicial fue alta, pero ya la he recuperado y he obtenido ganancias. Esa es una parte que me encanta de Albion, no solo puedes basar tu economía en peleas PvP o PvE, también puedes hacer tu economía si saber manejarte en el mercado y si haces recolecciones. Hay jugadores que no han luchado nunca en Albion y son muy ricos, yo en mi caso me la paso luchando y estoy pobre.
Algo que me parece una locura es ver el precio de la Premium rondando los 30 millones de plata. Cuando empecé a jugar costaba solo 5 millones y ya parecía imposible de conseguir. Ahora obtener plata es mucho más fácil, aunque también más arriesgado.
Uno de los mejores métodos es hacer cofres en los Caminos de Avalon, una zona donde cualquiera puede matarte, pero que tiene spots con cofres que otorgan muchísima experiencia y buenas recompensas. Nosotros hemos pasado algo de tiempo ahí y hemos tenido suerte.
Por ahora espero seguir divirtiéndome y recuperar esos 30 millones de la Premium para pagar el siguiente mes si lo considero necesario. En teoría solo con mi isla personal debería ser suficiente para cubrir ese gasto, pero no debo descuidar los otros tipos de contenido.
