Today I continue my CrossCode adventure. Previously, we had experienced incredible events that really delighted me and impressed me a lot. It may seem silly, but I didn't expect anything from this game, but so far I find it incredible. In the previous adventure, we managed to defeat a giant crab, which had been summoned by an evil guy, you can read about it here.
My adventure starts from where I left off, on the ship. The captain orders me to leave since our gamer girl, is in danger. I had taken some screenshots, but for some reason several of those screenshots disappeared, maybe I deleted them by mistake.
The evil guy contacts us again while we are trying to get to the exit of the ship and summons some very powerful monsters, in this part I died a lot of times since those monsters are of a much higher level than us and our only option is to run to the teleport to escape. I must admit that this part was exciting, but very frustrating at the same time. Those monsters, had a pretty high speed and their burst power was almost impossible for me, a noob, to dodge.
After being safe, the teleport takes us to a strange base in the middle of the sea, sort of like an island. At that base, we meet a lot of people, including a strange character who seems to be following us, but I'll talk about that later.
The girl we meet on the island is quite friendly, she even explains the basics about the puzzles and takes us to a teleport to undertake a challenge. There should be a lot of screenshots here too but OBS played me a bad one. For some reason some games can be captured, but others can't, I'll look for similar problems on the web later, and try to fix it.
When you get to the portal and use it, the complicated part starts, at least to a point. It took me quite a while trying to solve the puzzles. I think I've explained it before, shots from a distance, bounce off surfaces, plus the walls in this game have good angles for those shots to bounce off to some target. The main puzzles reminded me of Zelda, those parts where we had to use the boomerang to hit and activate mechanisms in order to advance. In this part would come the first negative point I see in this game, it is not so bad, but it still affects a lot when playing. The precision when shooting is not completely accurate. If we leave the ranged attack pressed, we will be able to see the path that the projectile will take and know where it will hit. Despite being quite easy to aim, the path that this marks when releasing the projectile, is not the same as the one that marked us. In order to overcome the puzzles you have to try all possible positions to advance.
After overcoming the puzzles, we face a boss, something like a turret, in fact, that is the turret used by the captain, to train us. At least from here the screenshots came back to life.

To defeat this turret we must use what we learned in the puzzles and use the angles in our favor to be able to break several shields that the turret has. This boss, unlike the previous one, was quite simple.

I'm not sure if I'm still in some sort of tutorial, where everything is explained to me, which intrigues me, as I don't know if leveling up revolves around how linear the story is or is random; I think it's not random.
After leveling up, our strange brother talks to us and tells us that we will receive an upgrade. Just when I thought the game couldn't get any better, I was wrong. We receive the option of being able to equip different items; we even unlock a branch of skills, called "Circuits".

Already at this point, I don't know what other improvements could come, but for now, it's enough. After overcoming all the puzzles and returning to the base, the strange guy, who I had mentioned before, accuses us of being cheaters; since for him, it's impossible for a girl to be level 4. I'm not sure if he's right or not, I just know that our brother is up to something.

I loved writing this post even though I was missing images, I will try to solve the OBS problem to be able to capture some gameplays and be able to make screenshots comfortably. Best regards and see you, Cya my boomers!

El día de hoy prosigo con mi aventura de CrossCode. Anteriormente, habíamos vivido sucesos increíbles que me realmente me encantaron y me impresionaron bastante. Puede parecer una tontería, pero no esperaba nada de este juego pero hasta los momentos me parece increíble. En la aventura anterior, logramos derrotar a un cangrejo gigante, el cual había sido invocado por un sujeto malvado, puedes leer sobre eso aquí.
Mi aventura comienza desde donde lo dejé, en el barco. El capitán me ordena abandonar ya que nuestra chica gamer, se encuentra en peligro. Había sacado unas capturas, pero por alguna razón varias de esas capturas desaparecieron, tal vez las eliminé por error.
El malvado sujeto, vuelve a contactarnos mientras intentamos llegar a la salida del barco e invoca unos monstruos muy poderosos, en esta parte morí un montón de veces ya que esos monstruos son de un nivel bastante superior que nosotros y nuestra única opción es correr hacia el teleport para escapar. Debo admitir que esta parte fue emocionante, pero muy frustrante a la vez. Dichos monstruos, tenían una velocidad bastante alta y su poder en ráfaga era casi imposible de esquivar para mi, un noob.
Después de estar a salvo, el teleport nos lleva hacia una extraña base que está en medio del mar, algo así como una especie de isla. En esa base, conocemos a mucha gente, incluyendo a un extraño personaje que parece estar siguiéndonos, pero de eso hablaré más adelante.
La chica que conocemos en la isla, es bastante amable, incluso nos explica lo básica acerca de los puzles y nos llevar a un teleport para emprender un desafío. Aquí también debería de haber muchas screenshots pero OBS me jugó una mala. Por alguna razón algunos juegos pueden capturarse, pero otros no, luego buscaré problemas similares en la web, e intentaré solucionarlo.
Al llegar al portal y utilizarlo, empieza lo complicado, al menos hasta un punto. Tardé bastante tiempo intentando resolver los puzles. Creo que ya lo expliqué antes, los disparos a distancia, rebotan en las superficies, además de que las paredes de este juego tienen buenos ángulos para que esos disparos reboten hacia algún objetivo. Los puzles principales me recordaron a Zelda, esas parten en donde teníamos que hacer uso del boomerang para golpear y activar mecanismos, para poder avanzar. En esta parte vendría el primer punto negativo que veo en este juego, no es tan mala, pero aún así afecta mucho a la hora de jugar. La precisión al disparar no es completamente acertada. Si dejamos el ataque a distancia presionado, podremos ver el trayecto que tomará el proyectil y saber en donde impactará. A pesar de ser bastante sencillo apuntar, el trayecto que este marca a la hora de soltar el proyectil, no es igual al que nos marcaba. Para poder superar los puzles tienes que probar todas las posiciones posibles para poder avanzar.
Después de superar los puzles, nos enfrentamos con un jefe, algo parecido a una torreta, de hecho, esa es la torreta que utiliza el capitán, para poder entrenarnos. Al menos a partir de aquí las capturas de pantalla volvieron a la vida.

Para poder derrotar esta torreta debemos de utilizar lo aprendido en los puzles y utilizar los ángulos a nuestro favor para poder romper varios escudos que la torreta posee. Este jefe a diferencia del anterior, fue bastante sencillo.

No estoy seguro si aún estoy en una especie de tutorial, en donde me explican todo, cosa que me intriga, ya que no sé si subir de nivel gira en cuanto a lo lineal de la historia o es al azar; creo que no es al azar.
Después de subir de nivel, nuestro extraño hermano nos habla y nos dice que recibiremos una mejora. Cuando creí que el juego no podía ser mejor, me equivoqué. Recibimos la opción de poder equiparnos objetos distintos; incluso desbloqueamos una rama de habilidades, denominada "Circuitos".

Ya en este punto, no sé que otras mejoras podrían venir, pero por ahora, es suficiente. Después de superar todos los puzles y regresar a la base, el extraño sujeto, que ya había mencionado antes, nos acusa de ser tramposos; ya que para él, es imposible que una chica sea nivel 4. No estoy seguro de si tenga razón o no, solo sé que nuestro hermano trama algo.

Me encantó escribir este post aunque me faltasen imágenes, intentaré solucionar el problema del OBS para poder capturar algunos gameplays y poder hacer las capturas de pantalla cómodamente. Un saludo y nos vemos, Cya mis boomers!
