In the previous post, I completed the first two regions of the map, at least the main quests. The previous post was more of a first impression game. I could not hold on and played some more.

Exploring Kwolok's Hollow

I reached the Kwolok's Hollow which is connected to Inkwater Marsh.
Here I met another character, the Twillen, I upgraded my shard to take and deal 25% more damage and moved along.

A new puzzle type appears where you shoot this statue's eyes and a platform comes out from the mouth. No surprises here.

After pulling a level to lower the water level I could go down and there I found another glowing tree that gave me an exciting new ability: dash.

Ori can now dash even in mid-air with this passive ability. I loved it. Makes it more fun to traverse the map.
Now I can get back to another NPC, I forget their name to get a map of the Kwolok's Hollow.

Beetle - Boss Battle
Horn Beetle looks intimidating at first because of its large size and impenetrable exoskeleton but don't let its size fool you. It is easy to defeat once you get the hang of its movements and attacks.

Beetle has a few different ways to attack, they charge at you like a raging bull and you can jump over them to avoid its attack and hit its weaker orange section of his abdomen at the back.

It can also jump attack, when it does that you can use Ori's dash ability to get to the other side of the arena and hit its back. Once you defeat it a Moki will unwind a wine and you can get out of there by using it.
After defeating it you will soon get another glowing tree that will grant the bash ability making traversing more unexplored areas easy.

After getting this ability I could reach the greyed-out places on the map and soon I reached a signpost. I chose to go to Silent Woods.

Pretty soon a massive green frog came out from the water. Fortunately, he was friendly. He told me that the Owl landed in the Forest and to reach there I had to get past this water. And because of the corruption in the water, I could not go further.

A New main mission started of freeing the Mill from corruption to restart the flow of water in Niwen.

I loved this above still from the cutscene. By far one of the best visuals you can see from a game. I will continue from here...
