Episode #8 - The flying Lily is back
Hello everybody and welcome to Episode #8. This one will be a bit longer than previous ones. Not intentional though I just happened to take more pictures this time...
Today's episode started with me taking care of a bear who appeared kinda stuck or something, so I killed it pretty easily.
I worked a bit with the grindstone on what things I can use it for.
One of the things I was gonna need is bone meal, so I can grow more grass on the island which will give me grass fiber, because I kinda started to run low on it after crafting so many torches last episode.
In this modpack it's not just put the bones in the crafting grid and you get bone meal, no... First you need to crush them into bone shards and then crush the shards into bone meal, while constantly clicking the grindstone. 🙄
I also did a minor decoration inside the base by putting slabs around the inner ring, which in my opinion made it look a bit better.
I wanted to craft a Mk2 Workstump, but I was gonna need dark oak wood for the job, so I had to go look for it on the other islands.
Also crafted another Volarkite just in case the one I had breaks in mid air. I waited until it turned daytime so I can go exploring.
Here I'm looking at what is needed to craft the Fluid bladder which is an early "bucket", but it needed some special items that I didn't have in my island. Another good reason to go exploring 😉
Here I am mid flight heading to one of the islands. I just stopped on the first one that I saw, nothing interesting except this friendly Owl guy just chilling. 😊
On the next island I saw this strange structure buried in the ground, so I immediately headed for it to check what's in there.
On the way to it I had to cross the pool of water and I was attacked by this Piranha which looked kinda scary, but he was easy to deal with. No problemo. But....
The moment I peaked into the black structure, I just was like NOPE, NOPE, I'M OUT...There were some crazy looking tentacle monsters, so bizzare that the cursed creeper was just a mob chilling in comparison...
After leaving the island ASAP, I landed on another one that had these interesting looking things. I don't know why but they are called "insert mob name here" Tails...
I was actually gonna need those later on to make some stuff, which I forgot what it was for at the moment(sorry).
On that same island there were some villager's houses and the villagers were selling strange stuff except this one.
He was selling me string for flint shards, and I had some in me so it was a good trade.
There are so many things in this modpack that I constantly keep on forgetting what they're about, but at the moment I can check and know they are useful so I grab as much as I can.
My last stop was this sandy island. It had some interesting looking blocks on it, so I quickly grabbed as much as I could.
And before I can collect too much, night had settled down, so I headed back to my home island for a well deserved rest. :)
