Through the Nightmares — is a atmospheric hardcore action-platformer in low-poly style. You will have to be in the role of Sandman wandering the world of children's nightmares, to find children in them and overcome their fears.
Description
The game narrates about the Sandman wandering the world of children's nightmares. The goal of the main character is to find and rescue the child from a trap the almighty Morpheus.
The game consists of three chapters, each chapter tells the story of an individual child. Dreams of each child — unique by setting atmospheric locations. They are not similar to each other, just as the children aren't similar to each other: everyone has their own hobbies, impressions and fears.
Each chapter contains 15 levels and a battle against the boss. The variety of gameplay won't let you get bored. You can return to previous levels at any time to find additional items and secrets, or try out yourself at complicated versions of the levels.
You're about to stay overnight in the gloomy forest, to explore depths of space and to visit an epoch of knights. However, you will not enjoy the moment, because everything around will try to kill you.
No longer need to count timings. In Through the Nightmares, most mechanics work at the pace of music, it is simple enough to listen to the rhythm to choose the suitable moments. Also, it's not necessary to spend hundreds of attempts to re-pass already learned parts of levels — you will use a flask-checkpoint, which can be placed anywhere.
The important role of playing is your gaming skills. "Through The Nightmares" involves continuous improvement. After deaths, use the new knowledge to get closer and closer to the finish line step by step.
