➤ The first thing I have to say is that I didn't expect the game to be so short, but I'm not really complaining because I really enjoyed the few hours it lasted. In total I completed the game in 5 hours, and according to my research the average is 6. Even so there are certain things in the story that for the short duration of the game, I think they were quite unfinished and that's what I'll talk about, beyond how good the ending was and how well the story was developing, it has some details that if they had taken care of, it would have been spectacular.
➤ The development of the story seemed to me quite good, we start seeing the domination in the United States by the Koreans and little by little we are freeing ourselves and knowing more about the resistance, learning their plans and freeing their position little by little. Attacking different factories or important bases, destroying trucks of high importance for the Koreans and little by little getting more strength and motivation to their cause. And also getting to know more about the characters that go by our side, although never without deepening them too much, which is not bad, since we are living a cold war, only happens what is necessary to be able to empathize with them. Let's remember that we were released for the fact of being pilots, although this is never entirely clear, they never end up focusing on this issue and know what our real purpose was. We lived it indirectly but never explained. After many plans of attack and conquest, we managed to escape from the main city where we were collected, to go in search of U.S. allies who are on the outskirts.
➤ Although here comes one of my doubts, and that is, what happened to the others? With this I mean all the people who accompanied us in the battles to escape from the city, there were hundreds of people and soldiers, so that in the end we only escaped 3 people. Leaving the rest of the rebellion I would say that they were indifferent, but they never talk about it again and it is something that I didn't like very much.
➤ Our objective is to head to an American camp on the outskirts of the city in search of a helicopter that had been promised in a deal. But in the end we end up being betrayed and we have no choice but to try to steal the helicopter. Well, this is one of my favorite areas of the game for the fact that it maintains a balance between stealth, action and incredible story details. This U.S. camp is known to be one of the biggest resistance to the Koreans, and also for being unhinged. Apart from being armed to the teeth we can see how they have many Koreans captured and torture them, kill them or force them to work for them, giving them a life of cruelty and punishment, just as the Koreans do as the Americans do, a rather curious contradiction, some would say that it is unjustified but within everything has a part of justice. Even if it is not the best way, it is also a way to let off steam. All in all, the Koreans are still the bad guys in the story, even though these guys are really messed up in the head. We will go through the whole camp in stealth and analyzing each place, looking for the helicopter. We will have a silenced sniper rifle and we will be killing the guards that are in front of us and all the enemies with RPG's, so they can not affect our exit in the helicopter. It seems to me that it is a very well done and quite entertaining area.

➤ Well, I'll skip a bit all this because they are not so important details, at the end we end up stealing the helicopter and comes one of the most fun parts of the game, handle it and attack with it, I guess it was obviously for this that they wanted us, but it is never quite clear for what I will explain later. The handling of the helicopter is quite simple and there is not much science, it's just shoot with the machine gun or rockets, and defend ourselves from enemy attacks which is the most fun part, it feels good to dodge rockets at maximum speed or use the rocket defense system. It's a pretty fast and adrenaline-filled part. All this is to steal some Korean trucks, I don't remember what they had inside but they are of utmost importance. In the end we end up stealing them and escaping the city completely.

➤ Well, and here is where my biggest doubt comes, from one moment to another we appear in another place with a huge United States army and without any explanation, at no time in the whole story we are told of their existence or absolutely nothing about them, they just suddenly appear a giant army ready to recover the United States from the Koreans, this was very sudden for me. That yes, this sequence is quite nice to see a whole armada this big and regain a little faith in the rebellion. But here it's another thing, what the hell for besides driving that helicopter, they wanted us as pilots? If we see that here in this place there are hundreds of pilots and helicopters, in fact after this we never touched another air vehicle, basically leaving aside our skills. All this did not please me at the beginning because I did not understand anything and I had many doubts, but it was still fun.
➤ Also here comes the most epic and final part of the whole game, the conquest of the city starting from the bridge. Here begins my favorite sequence where we get on a helicopter and begin to see all the wave of helicopters next to us, along with the landscape all this seemed brutal, although then we were attacked but that's another detail. We will also be attacking the Koreans from the helicopter with a grenade launcher, it is enjoyable to see them all flying through the air. Here is the pure and hard war, a full attack where we will face hundreds of soldiers both below and above the bridge, it is incredible all the adrenaline that is generated, the action and the amount of explosions everywhere, I just love it, along with the difficulty, I died many times, it is more than enjoyable. So it's time to be very careful with our ammunition, another detail is that we first start by overpowering a small Korean camp on the ground, and then attack the bridge.

➤ Everything will be a completely imminent war, destroying all the Korean soldiers and advancing little by little with our artillery and tanks, dominating and destroying the gates of the bridge, destroying everything in our path and also admiring the incredible power that was kept in this American army. Honestly all this seems incredible to me and makes me wonder where they got all that from. Victory is just a few steps away, and the taste of victory is felt little by little. Although in the end, not everything went as well as expected....
➤ In the end after so much fighting there was only one objective left, to destroy the Korean air defenses so that our planes could attack, we would achieve that and victory would be almost assured for us, but it would not be as easy as we would think. For this we would have to take an armored car and advance most of the way on our own until we reached the defenses, and face another version of Goliath, the old machine that was formerly ours. It was a hard fought battle to destroy it and in the end our vehicle was destroyed and we were left alone, trying to ask the air forces to attack but denied the request because of the troops nearby and because they couldn't see the target, the target was that in front of us hundreds of tanks and Korean forces were arriving and we were not going to be able to stop them, and here came the sacrifice...
➤ Connor gets up and takes a flare, lighting it in front of all the tanks so that the planes can attack and destroy them, but coming to this with what I think would be Connor death, because I see no way he could have survived, all to be able to defend the cause and our own lives, to be able to dominate the bridge, to be able to win this war. Connor sacrificed himself for us, for freedom.

➤ And so ends this story, with Connor sacrifice in between, without knowing anything about him until I can play the second installment, the truth is that I would have liked it to last much longer, I have a lot of suspense just now. Thank you very much for reading, see you in the next post!

➤ Lo primero que tengo que decir es que no me esperaba que el juego fuera tan corto, pero realmente no me quejo porque lo disfruté bastante las pocas horas que duró. En total completé el juego en 5 horas, y según investigué el promedio es de 6. Aún así hay ciertas cosas de la historia que por la corta duración del juego, pienso que quedaron bastante inconclusas y eso es de lo que hablaré, más allá de lo bueno que fue el final y lo bien que se fue desarrollando la historia, tiene algunos detalles que si hubieran cuidado, hubiera sido espectacular.
➤ El desarrollo de la historia me pareció bastante bueno, comenzamos viendo la dominación en Estados Unidos por parte de los coreanos y poco a poco vamos liberándonos y conociendo más la resistencia, aprendiendo sus planes y liberando su posición poco a poco. Atacando a distintas fábricas o bases importantes, destrozando camiones de alta importancia para los coreanos y poco a poco consiguiendo más fuerza y motivación a su causa. Y también conociendo más a los personajes que van a nuestro lado, aunque nunca sin profundizarlos demasiado, lo cual no está mal, pues se está viviendo una guerra fría, solo ocurre lo necesario para poder empatizar con ellos. Recordemos que fuimos liberados por el hecho de ser unos pilotos, aunque esto nunca queda claro del todo, nunca terminan de enfocarnos en este tema y saber cuál era nuestro real propósito. Lo vivimos indirectamente pero nunca explicado. Después de muchos planes de ataques y conquista, logramos escapar de la ciudad principal donde estábamos recaudados, para ir en busca de aliados Estado Unidenses que se encuentran en las afueras.
➤ Aunque aquí entra una de mis dudas, y es, ¿qué pasó con los demás? Con esto me refiero a todas las personas que nos acompañaron en las batallas para escapar de la ciudad, eran cientos de personas y soldados, para que al final solo escaparamos 3 personas. Dejando al resto de la rebelión diría que indifenso, más nunca se vuelve a hablar de eso y es algo que no me gustó mucho.
➤ Nuestro objetivo es dirigirnos a un campamento estadounidense en las afueras de la ciudad en busca de un helicoptero que se había prometido en un trato. Pero al final terminamos siendo traicionados y no nos queda de otra que intentar robar el helicoptero. Bien, esta es una de mis zonas favoritas del juego por el hecho de mantener un balance entre sigilo, acción e increíbles detalles de la historia. Este campamento de Estado Unidenses es conocido por ser una de las mayores resistencia hacia los coreanos, y también por ser unos desquiciados. Aparte de estar armados hasta los dientes podemos ver como tienen muchos coreanos capturados y los torturan, asesinan o los obligan a trabajar para ellos, dándoles una vida de crueldad y castigo, tal cual como los coreanos hacen como los Estado Unidenses, una contradicción bastante curiosa, algunos dirán que es injustificado pero dentro de todo tiene una parte de justicia. Aunque no sea la mejor manera, también es una forma de desahogo. Dentro de todo los coreanos siguen siendo los malos de la historia, a pesar de que estos tipos estén muy mal de la cabeza. Iremos por todo el campamento en sigilo y analizando cada lugar, en busca del helicoptero. Tendremos un rifle de francontirador silenciado e iremos acabando con los guardias que se pongan en frente y todos los enemigos con RPG's, para que no puedan afectar nuestra salida en el helicoptero. Me parece que es una zona muy bien hecha y bastante entretenida.

➤ Bien, saltaré un poco todo esto porque no son detalles tan importantes, al final terminamos robando el helicoptero y llega una de las partes más divertidas del juego, manejarlo y atacar con él, supongo que obviamente era para esto que nos querían, pero nunca queda del todo claro por lo que explicaré luego. El manejo del helicoptero es bastante sencillo y no hay mucha ciencia, es solo disparar con la metralladora o los cohetes, y defendernos de los ataques enemigos que es la parte más divertida, se siente bien esquivar cohetes a máxima velocidad o usar el sistema de defensa de cohetes. Es una parte bastante rápida y llena de adrenalina. Todo esto es para robar unos camiones coreanos, no recuerdo que llevaban dentro pero son de suma importancia. Al final los terminamos robando y escapando de la ciudad por completo.

➤ Bien, y aquí es donde llega mi mayor duda, de un momento a otro aparecemos en otro lugar con un ejercito estado unidense enorme y sin ninguna explicación, en ningún momento en toda la historia se nos cuenta de su existencia ni absolutamente nada de ellos, simplemente aparecen de forma repentina una armada gigante preparada para recuperar Estados Unidos de los coreanos, esto fue muy repentino para mí. Eso sí, esta secuencia es bastante bonita al ver toda una armada así de grande y recuperar un poco la fe en la rebelión. Pero aquí es otra cosa, ¿para qué diablos aparte de manejar ese helicoptero, nos querían de pilotos? Si vemos que aquí en este lugar hay cientos de pilotos y helicopteros, de hecho después de esto en ningún momento llegamos a tocar otro vehículo aereo, básicamente dejando de lado nuestras habilidades. Todo esto no me terminó de agradar al inicio porque no entendía nada y tenía muchas dudas, pero igualmente fue divertido.
➤ De igual forma aquí llega la parte más épica y final de todo el juego, la conquista por la ciudad empezando por el puente. Aquí empieza mi secuencia favorita donde nos montamos en un helicoptero y comenzamos a ver toda la oleada de helicopteros a nuestro lado, junto al paisaje todo esto me pareció brutal, aunque luego fuimos atacados pero eso es otro detalle. También estaremos atacando a los coreanos desde el helicoptero con un lanza granadas, es disfrutable verlos a todos volar por los aires. Aquí es la guerra pura y dura, un ataque completo donde nos enfrentaremos a cientos de soldados tanto abajo como arriba del puente, es increíble toda la adrenalina que se genera, la acción y la cantidad de explosiones por todos lados, simplemente me encanta, junto a la dificultad, que morí muchas veces, es más que disfrutable. Así que es hora de tener mucho cuidado con nuestras municiones, otro detalle es que primero comenzamos dominando un pequeño campamento coreano en el suelo, para luego atacar el puente.

➤ Todo será una guerra completamente inminente, destruyendo todos los soldados coreanos y avanzando poco a poco con nuestra artilleria y tanques, dominando y destruyendo las puertas del puente, acabando con todo a nuestro paso y también admirando el increíble poder que era guardado en esta armada estadounidense. Sinceramente todo esto me parece increíble y me hace preguntarme de dónde sacaron todo eso. La victoria está en solo unos pasos, y se siente poco a poco el sabor de la victoria. Aunque al final, no todo salió tan bien como se esperaba...
➤ Al final luego de tanta lucha solo quedaba un objetivo, destruir las defensas aereas coreanas para que nuestros aviones puedan atacar, lográbamos eso y la victoria estaría casi asegurada para nosotros, pero no sería tan fácil como pensaríamos. Para esto tendríamos que tomar un auto blindado y adelantar la mayor parte del camino por nuestra cuenta hasta llegar a las defensas, y enfrentarnos a otra versión de Goliat, la antigua máquina que anteriormente era nuestra. Fue una batalla completamente reñida para destruirlo y al final nuestro vehículo fue destrozado y quedamos solos, intentando pedir a las fuerzas aereas que ataquen pero negando la petición por las tropas cercas y porque no llegaban a ver el objetivo, el objetivo era que frente de nosotros estaban llegando cientos de tanques y fuerzas coreanas que no ibamos a poder parar, y aquí llegó el sacrificio...
➤ Connor se levanta y toma una bengala, enciéndola en frente de todos los tanques para que los aviones puedan atacar y destrozarlos, pero llegando a esto con lo que pienso que sería la muerte de Connor, porque no veo forma de que haya sobrevivido, todo para poder defender la causa y nuestras propias vidas, para poder dominar el puente, para poder ganar esta guerra. Connor se sacrificó por nosotros, por la libertad.

➤ Y así termina esta historia, con el sacrificio de Connor de por medio, sin saber nada de él hasta que pueda jugar la segunda entrega, la verdad es que me hubiera gustado que durara mucho más, tengo mucho suspenso justo ahora. Muchas gracias por haber leído, ¡nos vemos en el próximo post!
