Dead or Alive es uno de mis juegos favoritos, ya han pasado varios años desde que empecé a jugarlo en su cuarto lanzamiento y para ese entonces era todo un espectáculo para mi. Recuerdo que amanecía jugando este juego, en realidad fue un total vicio y eso que no soy muy amante de los juegos de peleas, sin embargo este tiene algo en particular que llamo mi atención.
Dead or Alive is one of my favorite games, it's been several years since I started playing it on its fourth release and by then it was a spectacle for me. I remember that I used to wake up at dawn playing this game, in fact it was a total vice and I'm not a big fan of fighting games, however this one has something in particular that caught my attention.
Primero que todo hablemos sobre la historia, y es algo compleja y a la vez muy sencilla. Resulta que una corporación quiso tomar las habilidades de los ninjas, en el caso especial de Kasumi ya que esta es una de las más agiles, y pues DOATEC corporación liderada por la elegante Helena, obtiene el ADN de Kasumi y logran sintetizarlo para crear un clon mejorado de la mismísima Kasumi.
First of all let's talk about the story, and it is somewhat complex and at the same time very simple. It turns out that a corporation wanted to take the skills of the ninjas, in the special case of Kasumi since she is one of the most agile, and DOATEC corporation led to the elegant Helena, obtains the DNA of Kasumi and manages to synthesize it to create an improved clone of Kasumi herself.

Es entonces cuando se da inicio nuevamente al torneo de Dead or Alive para llegar hasta la ultima fase que es enfrentar al nuevo espécimen clon de Kasumi. Una de las cosas a destacar es que los escenarios fueron creador para tener interacción con diferentes estructuras, mas que todo los bordes que son usado por los luchadores. El efecto de electricidad es una de las cosas que más me gusta, y por sobre todo el hecho que te puedas subir a los bordes y caer sobre el enemigo o aventarte para darle un golpe fulminante. Esto claro esta, va de acuerdo con las habilidades de cada uno de los personajes.

Hablando de personajes, en este juego se adiciona nuevos personajes como lo son: Kokoro, Eliot y Lisa, pero además de ello el juego nos da la opción de poder descargar a un personaje particular y seguramente conocido por todos, y es a Halo.

Lo que hace este juego atractivo para mi, es el poder jugarlo en cooperativo, y lo mejor de todo es que no debes esperar a que tu compañero muera, puedes salir en cualquier momento que quieras para apoyarlo, o incluso para hacer combos de ataques o en pareja si ambos personajes tienen un vinculo que los une entre si, algo que varia según la historia de cada uno.
What makes this game attractive to me, is the ability to play it in cooperative, and best of all is that you do not have to wait for your partner to die, you can leave at any time you want to support him, or even to make combos of attacks or in pairs if both characters have a link that unites them together, something that varies depending on the history of each one.
Cuando se trata de juegos para jugar entre amigos sin aburrirte este es uno de los indicados, pues puedes conectar tus cuatro mandos y jugar un 2V2. Una de las cosas que no me gusta de la mayoría de los juegos de pelea es eso, que hay que estar esperando mucho para que le toque el turno a otro de jugar, eso hace que uno se desanime, sin embargo, con este juego como he mencionado, es diferente, no se si hay algunos juegos similares con este modo de jugabilidad, pero hasta el momento este es el que conozco.
When it comes to games to play with friends without getting bored, this is one of the best, because you can connect your four controllers and play a 2V2. Se que este juego es muy viejo, salió en el 2005 pero sigue siendo tan divertido como las otras versiones que ya salieron, según he leído hay una demo de DOA 6 que aun no he jugado, DOA5 lo he jugado solamente en Xbox 360, pero también he podido darle un vistazo a Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 donde todos están en una isla y pueden jugar diferentes juegos acuáticos, entretenido, sobre todo porque las chicas están en traje de baño, y si nos damos cuenta, los desarrolladores de estos personajes femeninos, si que lo hicieron muy bien.

Pero bueno, si se trata de diversión, y cuando hay varios amigos en casa, una de las mejores opciones es Dead or Alive, indiscutible si es el 5 o 4, pero debo decir que me gusta más el 4, por cierto, unas de las cosas que estaba dejando pasar que es muy importante, es que este juego de peleas puedes hacer contraataques, y es una de las cosas que me encantan, así que lo mejor seria que antes de empezar a jugar entraran a la opción de entrenamiento y te aprendas tanto los diferentes combos de tus personajes favoritos como el verdadero método de contraatacar según el golpe que te lancen.
But well, if it's about fun, and when there are several friends at home, one of the best options is Dead or Alive, indisputable if it is the 5 or 4, but I must say that I like more the 4, by the way, one of the things I was missing that is very important, is that this fighting game you can make counterattacks, and it is one of the things that I love, so it would be best that before you start playing you enter the training option and you learn both the different combos of your favorite characters and the real method of counterattacking according to the blow they throw at you.
Y para terminar, entre mis héroes favoritos esta Kasumi porque tiene habilidades para desaparecer y traspasar al enemigo, es muy sutil y un tanto elegante para se un ninja, aunque si hablamos de elegancia también tenemos a Helena quien se entreno con el mismo maestro de Eliot uno de los nuevos personajes y de los más jóvenes.
And finally, among my favorite heroes is Kasumi because she has skills to disappear and pass through the enemy, she is very subtle and somewhat elegant for a ninja, although if we talk about elegance we also have Helena who trained with the same teacher as Eliot, one of the new characters and one of the youngest.
Si hablamos de rudeza femenina tenemos a Tina, Hitomi y en especial a Christie que trabaja básicamente como una asesina.
