It's been a quite a while since I posted my No Man's Sky travel log. I was kind of busy and couldn't find enough spare time to play games. I guess I'll continue my journey though it's expected to be a much slower process.
My progress so far:
I was contacted by Apollo. He wanted me to find glyphs for this star system so that he could join me via interstellar portal. I found a portal on planet Jodice G20 and obtained the glyphs. I went to a Holo-Terminus near the portal and contacted Apollo. Right after giving him the glyphs, I was contacted by Null. Null advised me to investigate an observatory nearby. According to the observatory's log, it had been occupied by a Gek specialist who went out to investigate a crashed Korvax freighter, never to return. I'm going to check out the crash site. (log #19)
I landed near the freighter crash site on planet Aputon Sigma. According to the ship's log, the Sentinels destroyed the whole region. Only a Korvax entity, Nada, and a Gek specialist who came to the freighter to investigate, Polo, survived and escaped. I flew to a Holo-Terminus nearby and contacted Null to tell what I had found. Null wanted me to investigate further and talk to cartographers of each species(Gek, Korvax, and Vykeen). I decided to go along with Null's plan. I also found a temperate planet, Boeot XVIII, and built my second base. (log #20)
I decided to go along with Null's plan to speak with cartographers. I met a Vykeen cartographer at the Konaka Stellar Observer station, who told me to prove my worthiness by visiting a Vykeen reliquary on planet Jodice G20. I got an ancient tablet from the reliquary and showed it to the cartographer. In return I was told of Vykeen's history. Before finding the next(Korvax) cartographer to talk, I warped out of Konaka system and reached Rakino X system to check out something called "Atlas Station". It looks like a kind of space station where you can contact Atlas. Atlas gave me the blueprint of "Captured Nanode". I'll visit more Atlas Stations to find out what it's all about. (log #21)
Luckily, I discovered a settlement on the bountiful planet Erheg II in Rakino X system. The previous settlement I came across in Onbets-Arg system(log #17) was on a planet with really harsh climate, so I passed. This one will be manageable.
After taking out the Sentinels harassing the settlement, I took the position of Overseer.
The first building I needed to construct was my office. I gathered some materials and components required and built the office. Now, I can do administrative tasks from the admin terminal in the office.
My next building for the settlement will be a marketplace. While construction work is being done, I decided to visit the next Atlas Station.
The second Atlas Station was located in Gagasera system. My route would be Rakino X(current system), Kinash, Isport-Pen, Gagasera(destination).
I warped to Kinash system, and then to Isport-Pen system. But before warping to Gagasera system I received a distress signal from my settlement. The Sentinels have returned.
So I went back to the settlement via teleportation terminal in the Isport-Pen space station.
There were far more Sentinels than the previous invasion, but thanks to great weather, it was not so difficult to take them out. Shortly after the battle, Tethys from the Space Anomaly station contacted my admin office.
Tethys picked up a massive Sentinel signal spike from the settlement area and suggested me to check if there was anything interesting left of the Sentinels.
I found a damaged Sentinel drone with external shell mostly intact. Maybe Tethys could repair this one.
I'm going to visit the Space Anomaly station to meet Tethys. Atlas Station can wait.
