My progress so far:
I visited planet Naenett Sigma to get blueprint for antimatter which is need for hyperdrive fuel(warp cell). After charging the hyperdrive, I warped to Kukiha XIII system, where I came a across a wrecked starship owned by a pilot named "Artemis". (log #5)
I was contacted by an alien entity called "Nada", and visited Space Anomaly, the space station managed by "Nada" and "Polo". Leaving Space Anomaly, I was contacted by Artemis. Communication signal is not so strong, so I need to find a communication tower to contact her again. I decided to drop by my base first to retrieve newly recovered data. (log #6)
I added solar panels and a storage container to my base. After that, I contacted Artemis using a communication tower called Holo-Terminus. She gave me blueprint for signal booster so that I could triangulate my location. I completed triangulation and set out for another Holo-Terminus where I'll exchange location data with her. (log #7)
I arrived at the communication tower to contact Artemis again. We're supposed to be exchanging each other's location data, but she was stranded without proper equipment or resource thus she observed star patterns in the sky and sketched them.
I received the star chart and blueprint for translator. I need to ask inhabitants who may identify Artemis' location with this information.
I installed the translator module, but it needs calibration. Talking to a Gek(one of three alien species in the galaxy which is Gek, Korvax, and Vykeen) at an outpost raised calibration level to 33%.
The second destination for the calibration was ancient plaque, but when I arrived at the plaque I was ambushed by a couple of pirate starships.
I couldn't examine the plaque because of raining laser beams on me. I ran into my starship, scrambled to the sky, and blasted all of them. It was kind of intense, so I didn't have time to take screenshots. One useful tactic is to take out enemy's shield with photon cannon and then finish it with rocket launcher.
Unfortunately, I lost track of the plaque after the battle. My starship must have flushed the location data when I reached the plaque. I flew around for a while to visually identify it without success.
Frustrated, I decided to visit the cartographer in the space station. On the way to the station, I came across an abandoned starship with solar sails. It was broadcasting a message to reject "their lies" and a navigational coordinate on icy planet of Zahh IX repeatedly.
I decided to check the location. It was a crash site with a wrecked starship. I obtained a rendezvous beacon from it. As soon as I got it, multiple sentinels appeared from nowhere attacking me. I ran to my starship and fled to the sky.
I decided to stick to translator calibration for now. I'll check the beacon later. I went to the space station to talk with the cartographer. I would be able to buy a new map data for another ancient relic site. But when I talked with a few aliens and the cartographer on board the station, I found out the translator module's calibration is up to 66%. Okay, no need to buy a map data. It looks like some task can be completed in multiple ways, which is a good thing. Now I need to contact an alien knowledge stone to complete the calibration.
I visited a planet called Daberwich XVIII to find a knowledge stone. It's easy to find one because knowledge stones are scattered on many planets. Of course this planet also has knowledge stones. Calibration complete.
Now I need to find someone who can identify the star chart I got from Artemis. I visited a trade outpost on planet Daberwich XVIII to talk with a potential helper, but the Gek merchant wouldn't talk to me because my reputation was low.
I should do something beneficial to Gek species to boost it. I'm going to the space station to talk with the mission agent there.
