Hello everyone,
Sorry guys, I got busy the last few weeks and my laptop has been giving me a hard time, I can't even use Photoshop anymore, but I'm managing to play some low-demanding games with lower settings. I hope you haven't forgotten me after all this time. anyway, in the last post, we unlocked the double jump, explored the other side of hummingberg island, and recruited Summer. now we need to go back to the ship and talk to her so that we can learn who she is and what role she gonna play for the ship and story, I'm sure this is going to be another heartbreak when we learn her story, well see.
I returned to the ship after recruiting her on the hummingberg, as soon as I reached the ship, she started to change her form into a yellow and dark brown snake with a green cloak. I found Stella's uncle's form hilarious so I was looking forward to another goofy or hilarious form, but snake? I'm not a fan of this form. anyway, I tried to give her some of the food that I cooked while venturing through the sea, but she was not feeling hungry and her stats were pretty empty, we have to find her interests and hobbies along the way. she was feeling pretty happy about Stella picking her up, the first thing she asked Stella after complementing the ship was to build another building. She was feeling the ship was vague, and she wanted it to have some greeneries, so she asked me to build a garden, so there's a garden unlocked on the construction table.
as summer asked, I built the garden, as I already had the required materials, which were some logs and five lightning in the bottle, don't ask me how that works tho. the lightning in the bottle was captured while we were setting sail to hummingberg after we recruited Atul, he is the one who told us to capture the lightning and he even gave us some bottles which were super helpful. the space is kinda hard to manage, the size of the buildings was not uniform so I have to arrange them as I find it functionally convenient for me. so I put the guest house on top, which I would only visit when I want to talk to someone, other than that I often visit the kitchen so I put it below so it would be easy to just walk in. and put the garden on the side and field on above kitchen.
Summer was super happy that I made her a garden, which would be useful for everyone. also, She was saying something about teaching something and it would be really useful for plants when she requested me to build the garden, not sure what was that about. In the last post, I mentioned about me finding out how we can open all the doors on the hummingberg, there were seed packs on those houses, and I collected all of them, so now I have carrot seeds and turnip seeds which I can put in the garden. so I went ahead and put two carrots and one triumph seed in the garden, I don't know what turnip seed means so I wanted to check it out.
summer was waiting outside in the garden, she gave me a singing note and told me that the plants are living things too, they need love as much as we do and she went on and on. She was experimenting with plants for some time now and she wanted me to check it out. I tried to open the notes and I tried everything but I didn't know what to do to make Stella sing, I was confused by the information provided by Summer and the game, then I noticed that the ship was staying still, so I went to the cabin and set sail for the nearest bright jelly area, then started doing what I regularly do, just some fishing along the way, and checking up the plants if they need to water and cooking anything I have on inventory that is cookable except for the logs. then collected some bright jelly too. The next morning I gave food to Atul which was fun because I love his animations, cute and hilarious.
then I noticed Summer, she was standing outside the garden all this time, I wanted to give it another time, but after some time I noticed that there was a message saying Hold Y on the controller, how dumb I am to miss this simple thing. then Stella started to play the tune which was nice at first but soon became repetitive, and it took some time to grow them with the song. It was cool seeing the plants grow right there but was no fun since it took some time to grow them. this is what summer has been experimenting on alone in hummingberg island sure it is a really good way to pass the time, but I like fishing more so never doing this again.
according to Summer, she's been observing this world ever since she was brought here, she was suspecting that emotions will manifest and affect the reality in this place, and that's why playing some joyous tune made the plants grow sooner. pretty cool theory. then Gwen was asking for me, so I went to check her up, she was feeling suffocated with the recruiting new people and she felt crowded sleeping in the guest house, so she asked me if she can have a little house of her own. I have to accept the quest because it is a story quest and I can't refuse it technically so I said ok. then I arrived at the shipwreck area and collected the materials there, then Summer asked for me. She was saying that she's been having dreams about snakes and rotten fruits for weeks and about a place too. since this world is not random she was kinda freaked about it and she went to the cabin and marked an island there because she was drawn into this place on the map without her will, and she is feeling strongly about this place and asked me to set sail for this place as soon as possible.
