In today's post I would like to introduce you to a small new acquisition that I treated myself with some time ago - The SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless Gaming Headset.

Einen guten Abend liebe Community :).
Im heutigen Beitrag möchte ich euch eine kleine Neuanschaffung vorstellen, die ich mir vor einiger Zeit gegönnt habe - Das SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless Gaming Headset.
As some of you know, I don't like to throw things away and try to use them as long as possible - so did it with the predecessor, a Logitech G930 headset.
Wie einige von euch wissen, schmeiß ich nicht gerne Sachen weg und versuch die Dinge so lang es möglich ist zu nutzen - so erging es auch dem Vorgänger, einem Logitech G930.
As you can see on the picture, the thing is really at the end and some would have long separated from it - the plastic is broken in various places, constantly had small "leatherette chunks" of the headset hanging on myself (@jedigeiss knows this suffering :D) and also the microphone had its problems towards the end...
Against all logic, I was still willing to bring the good piece back to shape, after all there is @druckado and various already created spare parts on Thingiverse.
Before that happened, the microphone failed completely (cable break), as did the right side of the headphones.
So I was fed up and decided to treat myself with the Arctis Pro by SteelSeries.
But enough of the old ham and to the new headset, of which I am absolutely convinced after a test phase of almost 4-5 months - the many awards it definitely did not get for free.
Wie ihr auf dem Bild erkennen könnt, ist das Ding echt am Ende und so mancher einer hätte sich längst davon getrennt - der Kunststoff an diversen Stellen gebrochen, ständig hatte man kleine "Kunstleder-Brocken" vom Headset an sich hängen (@jedigeiss kennt dieses Leiden :D) und auch das Mikrofon hatte so seine Probleme gegen Ende...
Entgegen jeglicher Logik war ich dennoch gewillt, das gute Stück wieder auf Vordermann zu bringen, es gibt ja schließlich @druckado und diverse bereits erstellte Ersatzteile auf Thingiverse.
Bevor es dazu kam, viel das Mikrofon dann aber weitestgehend komplett aus (Kabelbruch), ebenso erging es der rechten Seite der Kopfhörer.
Damit hatte ich die Schnauze voll und hab mich dazu entschlossen, mir das Arctis Pro von SteelSeries zu gönnen.
Aber genug von dem alten Schinken und zum neuen Headset, von dem ich nach einer Testphase von knapp 4-5 Monaten absolut überzeugt bin - die vielen Auszeichnungen hat es definitiv nicht geschenkt bekommen.
The headset came with various accessories, whereby the exchange battery probably makes me the happiest - empty battery out, full in and on it goes. That's how it has to be :D!
The headset sat out of the box perfectly on the head and is very intuitive in terms of operation, the connection is stable and also reaches a few meters further than with the G930 before.
I have rarely been so convinced of a product as of this headset - speak therefore an absolute purchase recommendation and no, I was not paid for it :D.
Das Headset kam mit diversem Zubehör daher, wobei mich der Wechsel-Akku wohl am glücklichsten macht - leerer Akku raus, voller rein und weiter gehts. So muss das sein :D!
Das Headset saß out of the Box perfekt auf dem Kopf und ist von der Bedienung her sehr intuitiv, die Verbindung ist stabil und reicht auch einige Meter weiter wie mit dem G930 zuvor.
Ich bin selten von einem Produkt so überzeugt gewesen, wie von diesem Headset - spreche demnach eine absolute Kaufempfehlung aus und nein, dafür wurde ich nicht bezahlt :D.
With this good piece I am well prepared for the next years as well as for the actually running Hive-Fest. Hopefully you already got your ticket :)?

Mit dem guten Stück bin ich jedenfalls bestens für die nächsten Jahre wie fürs aktuell laufende Hive-Fest gewappnet. Ihr habt euer Ticket doch hoffentlich längst ergattert :)?
Sofern nicht, bleibt euch aber noch immer der Live-Stream (Linkliste in Post!) ;).
Kauft euch keine billigen Headsets und lasst euch die nächsten 2 Tage mal auf dem virtuellen Spielplatz sehen, es wird sicher das ein oder andere besprochen, dass auch euch interessiert :).
