This is one of those posts that I don't quite know how to approach; One night while I was playing Monster Hunter Wilds, hunting the new monster they introduced with the new update, there was a moment when I thought: "This is amazing, why am I not recording it? I want to show it to my friends and share it with people ". So I quickly opened OBS and started recording.
And it's easy to believe that I had that thought because I've been writing on Hive for a while now, but the reality is that I have memories of being a student (over 15 years ago or so) and thinking the same thing while playing a game on my Xbox 360. However, for me it was a feeling I didn't give much thought to, partly because recording your gaming session on a console in those days was a bit of a hassle, so I limited myself to simply sharing my thoughts with my friends and recommending the game to them.
However, although Hive is not the cause of these feelings, I think it has helped me to realize them, I have always liked to share special moments in videogames or that I consider cool with people, that was one of the reasons why Hive caught my attention at the time. Because I would see people talking about their favorite video games or just talking about a game they tried this week and I would think: "I want to share my stories too ".
Now, I can't be hypocritical, I must admit that the fact of being able to get some money talking about the things I am passionate about was also a factor that caught my attention. Many times what I have obtained here has allowed me to survive or take care of some emergency in my life, especially because of the complicated situation my country is currently in, but I don't want to delve into those topics.
But why am I telling you all this? What's the point? Well, none really. As I said at the beginning, the idea for this post came out of nowhere while I was playing, I simply wanted to share a bit of my feelings here after reflecting on them, because, although I have said that Hive has helped me realize all this, the reality is that, if this community didn't exist, I probably would have never encouraged me to make my first post.

Esta es una de esas publicaciones que no sé muy bien como enfocar; Una noche mientras estaba jugando al Monster Hunter Wilds, cazando al nuevo monstruo que introdujeron con la nueva actualización, hubo un momento en el que pensé: “Esto es increíble ¿Por qué no lo estoy grabando? Quiero enseñárselo a mis amigos y compartirlo con la gente”. Así que abrí rápidamente el OBS y comencé a grabar.
Y es fácil creer que ese pensamiento lo tuve porque llevo tiempo escribiendo en Hive, pero la realidad es que tengo recuerdos de cuando era estudiante (hace más de 15 años aproximadamente) y pensar lo mismo mientras jugaba algún juego en mi Xbox 360. Sin embargo, para mi era un sentimiento al que no le daba mucha importancia, en parte porque grabar tu sesión de juego en una consola en aquellos tiempos era un poco problemático, por lo que me limitaba simplemente a compartir mis pensamientos con mis amigos y recomendarles el juego.
Sin embargo, aunque Hive no es la causa de estos sentimientos, creo que si me ha ayudado a darme cuenta de ellos. Siempre me ha gustado compartir momentos especiales en los videojuegos o que yo considero geniales con la gente, esa fue una de las razones por las que Hive me llamó tanto la atención en su momento. Porque veía a gente hablar de sus videojuegos favoritos o simplemente hablar sobre un juego que probaron esta semana y pensaba: “Yo también quiero compartir mis historias”.
Ahora, no puedo ser hipócrita, debo admitir que el hecho de poder obtener algo de dinero hablando de las cosas que me apasionan también fue un factor que llamó mi atención. Muchas veces lo obtenido aquí me ha permitido sobrevivir o encargarme de alguna emergencia en mi vida, sobre todo por la situación complicada en la que se encuentra mi país actualmente, pero no quiero profundizar en esos temas.
Pero ¿Por qué estoy contando todo esto? ¿Cuál es el punto? Pues, ninguno realmente. Como dije al principio, la idea de esta publicación surgió de la nada mientras jugaba, simplemente quería compartir un poco de mis sentimientos acá luego de reflexionar sobre ellos, porque, si bien he dicho que Hive me ha ayudado a darme cuenta de todo esto, la realidad es que, si esta comunidad no existiese, probablemente nunca me hubiese animado a hacer mi primera publicación.
