If memory serves me correctly, this is the third time I've tried this game. To give some context; I was one of those who played Cyberpunk 2077 during its launch on PS4, when it worked horribly and every 10 minutes gave you some blue screen on the console. I remember dedicating around 15 hours to it, but it got to a point where I had to quit because of how poorly it ran. Some time later, I was able to acquire a more or less good PC and, when I just bought my GPU, I decided to try Cyberpunk again, although at that time it was mostly to see the performance of the graphics, so after fooling around a bit, I ended up abandoning the game, plus the little I saw did not captivate me at all.
So well, after passing all that, I decided to give it a third chance, but this time I want to take it seriously, pay attention to the story and get fully into this world. Because, although last time it didn't captivate me completely, most people I've talked to have told me that it's a great game, that it's really good and that it's worth it after all the updates it's received, so I want to experience it for myself and see if I can get hooked in that way too.
So, I started creating my character. At first I was spending time on the details, but then I remembered that most of the game I will only see my character's hands holding a weapon, so I decided not to spend more time on this.
Now there is a trait system, this did not exist when I played. We will be able to spend a number of points to increase some of our traits, which will give us advantages such as doing more damage with assault rifles, snipers or gaining some technological advantages. Honestly, some time ago I saw a short film of a guy who played the game in slow motion and saw the bullets paralyzed in the air. My intention is to be like that guy, I hope it's not a mod or something weird because I'll get depressed haha.
When I finished with my character it was time to choose my background. I think that depending on what you choose your start or initial scene is different. In my case I chose nomad, so I started in a garage fixing a car and talking to the mechanic.
When the car was ready to leave, an unfriendly officer appears, asking us where our family is and why we are here. After some discussion we decide to leave. We need to get in touch with someone, but we have no signal on our radio, so we decide to go up to a signal tower in the area and connect to it. There we call our contact and tell him that we need to find our client, as it looks like we have a job as a smuggler.
Our contact will give us the location of the client, he will be waiting for us at a farm on the outskirts of the area. Her name will be Jackie and she seems friendly enough, after chatting a bit we will get in our car and get on the road.
Eventually we will arrive at a checkpoint at the border where the soldiers will ask us to get out of the car to verify that everything is okay. We will go to an office to talk to the head of this squadron and, after an awkward chat, we will give him the bribe to let us pass.
It will seem that everything is fine and we will continue on our way, however, in the middle of the road a police convoy will appear and start chasing us. Here the action will begin and while our friend Jackie drives, we will shoot all the cars that chase us.
Eventually we will lose all the soldiers and hide in an abandoned garage. Here we will talk to Jackie, we will tell him that apparently that soldier we paid the bribe to set us up. We will finally come to the conclusion that it is better not to continue with the smuggling job, but, we will keep the merchandise and look for someone to sell it to in order to keep all the money. Interestingly, the merchandise will be a rare species of iguana.
After this we will be introduced to the city and we will see several scenes where we are with Jackie. Since that night we have become friends and have worked on several assignments together, we are now a team.
At the end of the introduction scene we will be in a car with Jackie, about to complete another assignment. Apparently a girl has been kidnapped and we're here to rescue her. But I think it's a good time to end the adventure for today. So far I'm liking it, although there are several things in the story that are not clear to me and I would have liked the game to explain them to me, but well, maybe it will do it later, or not, we'll see. My intention is to share my adventure here, although being such a long game, maybe I'll skip some parts and only share the moments that I find more interesting, but I don't know.

Si no me falla la memoria, es la tercera vez que lo intento con este juego. Para dar un poco de contexto; Yo fui uno de los que jugó Cyberpunk 2077 durante su lanzamiento en PS4, cuando funcionaba horrible y cada 10 minutos te daba algún pantallazo azul en la consola. Recuerdo dedicarle alrededor de 15 horas, pero llegó un punto en el que tuve que dejarlo por lo mal que funcionaba. Tiempo después, pude adquirir una PC más o menos buena y, cuando apenas compré mi GPU, decidí probar Cyberpunk nuevamente, aunque en ese entonces era más que nada para ver el rendimiento de la gráfica, por lo que luego de tontear un poco por los alrededores, terminé abandonando el juego, además de que lo poco que vi no me cautivó del todo.
Así que bueno, luego de pasar todo eso, decidí darle una tercera oportunidad, pero esta vez quiero tomármelo enserio, prestar atención a la historia y meterme de lleno en este mundo. Porque, aunque la última vez no me cautivó del todo, la mayoría de gente con la que he hablado me ha dicho que es un juegazo, que es buenísimo y que vale mucho la pena después de todas las actualizaciones que ha recibido, por lo que quiero experimentarlo por mi mismo y ver si a mí también logra engancharme de esa forma.
Entonces, comencé creando a mi personaje. Al principio le estaba dedicando tiempo a los detalles, pero luego recordé que la mayor parte del juego solo veré las manos de mi personaje sosteniendo un arma, por lo que decidí no gastar más tiempo en esto.
Ahora hay un sistema de rasgos, esto no existía cuando yo jugué. Podremos gastar una cantidad de puntos en aumentar alguno de nuestros rasgos, los cuales nos darán ventajas como hacer más daño con fusiles de asalto, francotiradores o ganar algunas ventajas tecnológicas. Sinceramente, hace un tiempo vi un short de un tipo que ponía en cámara lenta del juego y veía las balas paralizadas en el aire. Mi intención es ser como ese tipo, espero que no sea un mod o algo raro porque me deprimiré jaja.
Al terminar con mi personaje era hora de elegir mi trasfondo. Creo que dependiendo de que elijas tu inicio o escena inicial es distinta. En mi caso elegí nómada, por lo que comencé en un taller arreglando un auto y conversando con el mecánico.
Cuando el auto estaba listo para irse, aparece un oficial no muy amigable, preguntándonos donde está nuestra familia y porque estamos por acá. Luego de discutir un rato decidimos marcharnos. Tenemos que ponernos en contacto con alguien, pero no tenemos señal en nuestra radio, por lo que decidimos subir a una torre de señal que hay por la zona y conectarnos a ella. Ahí llamamos a nuestro contacto y le diremos que necesitamos encontrar a nuestro cliente, pues parece que tenemos un trabajo de contrabandista.
Nuestro contacto nos dará la ubicación del cliente, nos estará esperando en una granja a los alrededores de la zona. Se llamará Jackie y parece bastante amigable, luego de conversar un poco subiremos a nuestro auto y nos pondremos en marcha.
Eventualmente llegaremos a un puesto de control en la frontera donde los soldados nos pedirán bajar del auto para verificar que todo esté bien. Iremos a una oficina a hablar con el jefe de este escuadrón y, luego de una charla incomoda, le entregaremos el soborno para que nos deje pasar.
Parecerá que todo está bien y seguiremos nuestro camino, sin embargo, en mitad de la carretera aparecerá un convoy de la policía y comenzará a perseguirnos. Aquí empezará la acción y mientras nuestro amigo Jackie conduce, dispararemos a todos los autos que nos persiguen.
Finalmente perderemos a todos los soldamos y nos esconderemos en un garaje abandonado. Aquí hablaremos con Jackie, le diremos que al parecer ese soldado al que le pagamos el soborno nos tendió una trampa. Finalmente llegaremos a la conclusión de que es mejor no seguir con el trabajo de contrabando, pero, nos quedaremos con la mercancía y buscaremos a alguien a quien vendérsela para quedarnos con todo el dinero. Curiosamente, la mercancía será una rara especie de iguana.
Luego de esto nos presentarán la ciudad y veremos varias escenas donde estamos con Jackie. Desde aquella noche nos hemos hecho amigos y hemos trabajado en varios encargos juntos, ahora somos un equipo.
Al acabar la escena de presentación pasaremos a estar en un auto con Jackie, a punto de completar otro encargo. Al parecer secuestraron a una chica y venimos a rescatarla. Pero creo que es buen momento para acabar la aventura por hoy. De momento me está gustando, aunque hay varias cosas en la historia que no tengo claras y me hubiese gustado que el juego me las explicase, pero bueno, quizás lo haga más adelante, o no, ya veremos. Mi intención es ir compartiendo mi aventura por acá, aunque al ser un juego tan largo, quizás me salte algunas partes y solo comparta los momentos que me parecen más interesantes, pero no lo sé.
